< 2 Korintiana 7 >

1 Kanao an-tikañe o fampitamañe zao ry longo sarotse, le ehe miefera amy ze raha mahativa sandriñe naho troke, mañeneke fiavahañe am-pañeveñañe aman’ Añahare.
Having therefore, my beloved, these promises, let us purify ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Ampihovao an troke zahay! fa tsy anaña’ iaia hakeo, tsy nimengohe’ay, tsy nikatramoe’ay.
Receive us---we have injured no man, we have corrupted no one, we have over-reached no one.
3 Tsy te hamàtse anahareo ty nanoako izay, ie fa nivolañeko taolo t’ie an-tro’ay ao, ke te hiharo hivetrake he hitrao-kaveloñe.
I speak not this to condemn you: for I said before that ye are so much in our hearts that we could live and die with you.
4 Bey ty fatokisako anahareo naho jabajaba ty fisengeako. Toe enem-panintsiñan-draho, tsipike ty hafaleañe amo hene falovilovia’aio.
I use much freedom of speech to you, and I boast much of you: I am filled with comfort, and superabound in joy above all our affliction.
5 Ie nipoke e Makedonia añe le tsy nahafitofa o sandri’aio, fa nitokoen-draha mb’etia mb’ eroa—fihotakotahañe ey naho fihakahakàñe ao.
For when we came into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were afflicted on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.
6 Fe, i Andrianañahare Mpañohò o voretrao, ro nañohò anay ami’ty fiavi’ i Titosy,
But God, who comforteth those that are brought low, comforted us by the coming of Titus:
7 toe tsy amy fiavi’ey avao, fa amy fañohòañe nañohoa’ areo azey, ie nitalily ty fisalalà’ areo, ty firoveta’ areo, naho ty zoton-tro’ areo ho ahy; ie nonjoneko an-drebeke.
and not only by his coming, but especially by the consolation wherewith he was comforted on your account, acquainting us with your earnest desire towards us, your grief, and your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced greatly.
8 Aa ndra t’ie nampioremeñako amy taratasiy, tsy aneñenako; (toe naneñeñe hey fe nitreako te tsy nimaremàretse ty nampilendèña’ i taratasiy.)
For though I grieved you by my letter, I do not repent, though I did repent; for I perceive that that epistle grieved you, though it was but for a little while.
9 Mirebeke henaneo, tsy t’ie nampioremeñe, fa te ninday anahareo hisoloho i fanaheloy. Toe nanao fanaheloan’ Añahare nahareo vaho tsy nijoie’ay.
However, now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance; for ye were grieved after a godly manner, so that ye received no damage from us.
10 Minday fisolohoañe tsy aneñenañe mb’an-drombake ty anahelo satrin’ Añahare; fe maha-vetrake ty fandalà’ ty voatse toy.
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11 Oniño ty fahimbañañe nivokare o raha zao, o fiorèmeñan’ Añahare ama’ areoo, ty fiveroha’ areo, ty fitorifihañe, ty fihembañañe, ty fisalalàñe, ty zoton-tro vaho ty fipaiàn-to! Hene namente ty halio-tahi’ areo amy rahay.
For behold this very thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly manner, what diligence it wrought in you! yea, what apology, what indignation, what fear, what earnest desire, what zeal, what revenge! by all which ye have shewn yourselves to be clear in the affair.
12 Aa ndra t’ie nisokirako, tsy i nandilatsey ndra i nandilarañey, fa t’ie halange ama’ areo am-pivazohoan’ Añahare ty fiasia’ areo anay.
Wherefore if I wrote in such a manner to you, it was not merely on his account who had done the wrong, nor for his sake who had been injured; but that our care for you in the sight of God might be manifested among you.
13 Izay ty nampanintsiñe anay, le tsy vaho i fañohòañey fa nilosore’ay rebeke ty hafalea’ i Titosy amy nampibodaña’ areo i arofo’eiy.
We were therefore comforted by your consolation; and rejoiced the more at the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all;
14 Aa ndra inoñe ty nandrengeako anahareo ama’e, tsy nahasalatse ahy. Fa an-katòn-drehake avao ty nitaroña’ay, le nizoen-ko mahity ty nirengea’ay amy Titosy.
and because if I boasted of any thing to him concerning you, I was not ashamed; but as we have spoken all things to you in truth, so likewise our boasting of you to Titus was truth.
15 Toe nionjoñe ty fiferenaiña’e anahareo te nahatiahy ty tsy fanjehara’ areo iaby, vaho t’ie nandrambe aze añ’eveñe naho an-titititike.
And his bowels are exceedingly moved towards you, when he calls to mind the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
16 Aa le irebehako te atokisako amy ze he’e nahareo.
I rejoice therefore that in every thing I have confidence in you.
