2 Korintiana 1

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the assembly of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Andriañeñ’ abey t’i Andrianañahare Rae’ i Talèntika Iesoà Norizañey, i Raem-pitretrezañe naho Andrianañahare’ ze hene fañohoañey, toe Andrianañahare.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4 Ie ty mañohò anay amo hasotria’ay iabio, hañohoa’ay ka o mioremèñeo, amy fañohoañe añohoan’ Añahare anaiy,
who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5 Hambañe amy te mitobake ama’ay o hasotria’ i Norizañeio, ty andoparam-pañohoañe añamy Norizañey.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.
6 Naho ampalovilovien-jahay, le ho ami’ty fañosihañe naho fandrombahañe anahareo; ie ohòñen-jahay le ho fañosihañe anahareo kanao mifeake ami’ty fijaleañe nijalea’ay.
But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.
7 Tsy mihilotse ty fisalalà’ay anahareo, fohiñe t’ie mitraok’ amo fisotria’aio le manahake izay ka amy fañohòañey.
Our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that, since you are partakers of the sufferings, so you are also of the comfort.
8 O ry longo, tsy tea’ay te tsy hapota’ areo o feh’ ohatse nanoañe anay Asia añeo, izahay nampilogolgoeñe mandikoatse ty haozara’ay, vaho ho namoe aiñe.
For we don’t desire to have you uninformed, brothers, concerning our affliction which happened to us in Asia: that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, so much that we despaired even of life.
9 Eka, an-tro’ay ao ‘nio te voa-fatse havetrake, soa tsy hiato-batañe, fa aman’ Añahare mpampitroatse o vilasio;
Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead,
10 ie nañaha anay ami’ty fihomaham-bey, toe mamotsotse, naho itama’ay te mbe hañafake anay.
who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver, on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us,
11 Tovo’e ty fañolora’areo: mifanehake ho anay an-kalaly; fa kanao maro ty mihalaly, maro ka ty hañandriañe t’ie voavale.
you also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift given to us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on your behalf.
12 Inao ty fisengea’ay, ie ventem-pitsakoreañe, te o fitoloña’ay an-tane atoy, antsake ama’areo, le nanoeñe ankazavan-troke naho an-kalio-tahiñe—tsy ami’ty hakante’ ty tane toy, fa ami’ty hasoa natolon’ Añahare.
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly towards you.
13 Toe tsy anokira’ay naho tsy o vaki’ areo naho fohi’ areoo, fe atokisako t’ie haharendreke pak’am-pigadoña’e henaneo,
For we write no other things to you than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end—
14 toe eo ty nirendre’ areo ama’ay, te inahareo ro foto’ ty fisengea’ay, naho zahay anahareo amy andro’ Iesoà Talèntikañey.
as also you acknowledged us in part—that we are your boasting, even as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.
15 Amy fatokisañe zay, ty nilaharako te hiheo mb’ama’ areo mb’eo heike, hahazoa’ areo tilike fañindroe’e,
In this confidence, I was determined to come first to you, that you might have a second benefit,
16 Eka, hiary mb’ama’ areo iraho naho mb’e Makedonia ao vaho hibalike, hampionjona’ areo mb’e Iehodà añe.
and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be sent forward by you on my journey to Judea.
17 Nifejofejo hao iraho amy nilaharakoy? He i italifirakoy ro nisafirieko amy haondaty hambo’ey ao? soa te songa hanoeko ty hoe Eka, Eka naho Aiy avao?
When I therefore planned this, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be the “Yes, yes” and the “No, no?”
18 Fe manahake te migahiñe t’i Andrianañahare, le tsy Eka naho Aiy o fivola’ay ama’ areoo.
But as God is faithful, our word towards you was not “Yes and no.”
19 Amy te tsy Eka naho Aiy i Anan’ Añahare, Iesoà Norizañe nitaroñe’ay naho i Silasy vaho i Timoty ama’ areoy, fa Eka avao ty ama’e ao.
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached amongst you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not “Yes and no,” but in him is “Yes.”
20 Aa ndra fire-fire ty fampitamàn’ Añahare, le hene Eka o ama’eo; vaho ie ty anoa’ay Amena amy fandrengea’ay an’ Andrianañaharey.
For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen”, to the glory of God through us.
21 Fa mampipitike antikañe amy Norizañey t’i Andrianañahare, ie hinoso’e
Now he who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God,
22 naho vinoli-tombo’e vaho natolo’e an-tron-tikañ’ ao i Arofo’ey ho tsaloke.
who also sealed us and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 Aa le koiheko ho valolombelon-troko t’i Andrianañahare te i fiheveako anahareoy ty tsy nombako mb’e Korinto mb’eo heike.
But I call God for a witness to my soul, that to spare you, I didn’t come to Corinth.
24 Tsy te senge’ay hery o fatokisa’ areoo, f’ie mpifanehake ama’ areo ho ami’ty hafalea’ areo, amy t’ie mijadoñe soa am-patokisañe.
We don’t control your faith, but are fellow workers with you for your joy. For you stand firm in faith.
