1 Le nampañitrik’ am’ Israele naho Iehoda iaby t’Iekizkia, nanokitse taratasy amy Efraime naho i Menasè, hañaveloa’ iareo mb’ añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà e Ierosalaime ao, hañambeñe ty fihelañ’ ambone’ Iehovà, Andrianañahare’ Israele.
AND Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the Lord God of Israel.
2 Fa nilahatse amo roandriañeo naho amy fivoribei’ Ierosalaime iabiy t’Iekizkia te hambenañe ami’ty volam-paha-roe’ i fihelañ’ amboney,
For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.
3 amy t’ie tsy nilefe amy andro’e, mbore tsy niampe o mpisoroñe nampiavahem-batañeo vaho mbe tsy nifanontoñe e Ierosalaime ao ondatio.
For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
4 Nahity am-pihaino’ i mpanjakay naho amy fivory iabiy izay.
And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.
5 Aa le nafe’ iereo te ho tsitsifen-koike t’Israele, boake Beer-Sevà pake Dane, hampihovañe mb’e Ierosalaime ao hañambeñe i fihelañ’ ambone am’ Iehovà, Andrianañahare’ Israeley, amy t’ie mboe tsy nambenañe am-pivondronañe manahake i pinatetsey.
So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the Lord God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
6 Aa le nimb’ eo o mpihitrikeo rekets’ i taratasi’ i mpanjakay naho o roandria’eoy, nanitsike Israele naho Iehoda, ty amy nandilia’ i mpanjakay, nanao ty hoe: Ry ana’ Israele, mimpolia am’ Iehovà, Andrianañahare’ i Avrahame, Ietsake naho Israele, hibaliha’e ama’ areo nahapolititse am-pità’ o mpanjaka’ i Asoreo.
So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
7 Ko mitsikombe an-droae’ areo naho an-droahalahi’ areo niola am’ Iehovà, Andrianañaharen-droae’ iareo, kanao natolo’e ho rotsaheñe; ie o isa’ areo henaneo.
And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the Lord God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
8 Aa le ko mihagàn-katoke manahak’ an-droae’ areo; fe mamoea vatañe am’ Iehovà, le mimoaha amy toe-miavake nampiavaheñe ho nainai’ey vaho toroño t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo soa te hitolike ty haviñera’e miforoforo.
Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the Lord, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the Lord your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
9 Aa naho mimpoly amy Iehovà nahareo le ho tendreke fitretrezañe o longo naho ana’ areo nikozozoteñe añe an-drohio, naho himpoly mb’an-tane atoy; fa matarike naho mpiferenaiñe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo vaho tsy hampitolihe’e ty lahara’e naho impolia’areo.
For if ye turn again unto the Lord, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
10 Aa le nitoañeñe t’i Efraime naho i Menasè pake Zebolone mb’an-drova an-drova o mpañitrikeo; fe nitohafañe amañ-inje naho kizake.
So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
11 Fe eo ty nirè-batañe am’ondati’ i Asere naho i Menasè vaho i Zeboloneo, le nimb’e Ierosalaime mb’eo.
Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
12 Le tam’ Iehoda ka ty fitàn’ Añahare nanolots’ arofo raike ama’e hañorike ty lili’ i mpanjakay naho o roandriañeo ty amy tsara’ Iehovày.
Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the Lord.
13 Aa le tsifotofoto t’indaty nifanontoñe e Ierosalaime ao hañambeñe ty sabadidak’ i mofo-tsi-aman-dalivaey amy volam-paha-roey, valobohòke nitozantoza.
And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
14 Niongake le nafaha’ iareo o kitrely e Ierosalaime ao naho nendese’ iereo añe ka ze hene kitrelim-pañembohañe vaho navokovoko’ iareo an-torahan-Kidrone ao.
And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.
15 Linenta’ iareo amy andro faha-folo-efats’ambi’ i volam-paharoey i vik’ añondri’ i fihelañ’amboney, ie nisalatse o mpisoroñeo naho o nte-Levio naho nañamasim-batañe vaho nanese engan-koroañe añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà ao,
Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the Lord.
16 le nijohañe amo toetse nalahatse ho a iareoo, ty amy Tsara’ i Mosè ‘ndatin’ Añaharey; nafetsa’ o mpisoroñeo ty lio rinambe’ iareo am-pità’ o nte-Levio;
And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.
17 amy te nimaro amy fivoriy ty tsy nañefe-batañe, le tamo nte-Levio ty lily handentàñe o vi’ i fihelañ’ amboneio hasolo ze hene tsy nalio, hañeferañe iareo amy Iehovà.
For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the Lord.
18 Toe maro t’indaty, àntsake o boak’ Efraime naho e Menasè naho e Isakare vaho e Zeboloneo ty tsy nahaefe-batañe, fe nikama’ iareo avao i fihelañ’ amboney ndra t’ie tsy do’e amy pinatetsey, amy te nihalaly ho a iareo t’Iekizkia ami’ty hoe: Hapò Iehovà, abey
For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good Lord pardon every one
19 ze mamahatse ty arofo’e hipay an’ Andrianañahare; t’Iehovà, Andrianañaharen-droae’e ndra t’ie tsy do’e ty amy fañeferañe amy miavakey.
That prepareth his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.
20 Hinao’ Iehovà t’Iekizkia le nijangañe’e ondatio.
And the Lord hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
21 Nanao i sabadida-mofo-tsi-amandalivaey fito andro an-kafaleam-bey o ana’ Israeleo e Ierosalaimeo vaho nandrenge Iehovà handro an-kandro o mpisoroñeo naho o nte-Levio, nisabo reketse fititihañe mangatsìñe amy Iehovà.
And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the Lord day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the Lord.
22 Le nosihe’ Iekizkia an-tsaontsy o nte-Levy nahimbañe amy fitoroñañe Iehovàio. Aa le songa nikama amy andro fito namantañañe rey ondatio naho nañenga sorom-pañanintsiñe vaho nañandriañe Iehovà, Andrianañaharen-droae’ iareo.
And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the Lord: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the Lord God of their fathers.
23 Nilahare’ i valobohòkey amy zao t’ie mbe hambenañe andro fito ka; le nitana’ iareo an-kafaleañe i andro fito tovo’e rey.
And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.
24 Fa natolo’ Iekizkia mpanjaka’ Iehoda amy fivoriy ty añombe arivo naho añondry fito arivo le nanolotse añombe arivo naho añondry rai-ale amy fivoriy ka o roandriañeo; vaho maro bey ty mpisoroñe nañefe-batañe.
For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
25 Le nirebeke iaby ty valobohò’ Iehoda, miharo amo mpisoroñeo naho o nte-Levio naho i valobohòke boake Israeley naho o renetane boak’ an-tane’ Israeleo vaho o mpimoneñe e Iehodào.
And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
26 Aa le nitoabotse ty hafaleañe e Ierosalaime ao; amy te sikal’ amy andro’ i Selomò ana’ i Davide mpanjaka’ Israeley tsy tama’ Ierosalaime ty nanahake izay.
So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
27 Niongak’ amy zao o mpisoroñe nte-Levio, nitata ondatio, le jinanjiñe ty fiarañanaña’ iareo; vaho nahatakatse i fimoneña’e masiñe añ’abo andindiñe añe, ty halali’ iareo.
Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.
