< 1 Mpanjaka 21 >

1 Ie añe, teo t’indaty atao Nabote nte-Iezreele, ty tanem-bahe’e nifañefetse amy anjomba’ i Akabe, mpanjaka’ i Someroneiy.
After these things Naboth the Izreelite had a vineyarde in Izreel, hard by the palace of Ahab King of Samaria.
2 Le hoe t’i Akabe amy Nabote: Atoloro ahy o tanem-bahe’oo hanoeko golobon’ añañe, amy t’ie marine i trañokoy; ke ho soloako tanem-bahe soa te ama’e, he, naho atao’o ho soa, le hitolorako ty drala mañeva.
And Ahab spake vnto Naboth, saying, Giue me thy vineyarde, that I may make mee a garden of herbes thereof, because it is neere by mine house: and I will giue thee for it a better vineyarde then it is: or if it please thee, I will giue thee the worth of it in money.
3 Aa hoe t’i Nabote amy Akabe: Fa rinara’ Iehovà iraho tsy hatoloko azo i lovan-droaekoy.
And Naboth said to Ahab, The Lord keepe me from giuing the inheritance of my father vnto thee.
4 Aa le nanjetoke naho nanjokòke t’i Akabe te nimoak’ añ’anjomba’e ao amy nisaontsie’ i Nabote nte-Iezreele ty hoe: Tsy hitolorako ty lovan-droaeko; le nandre am-pandrea’e eo, nitoli-daharañe vaho tsy nete nikama mofo.
Then Ahab came into his house heauie and in displeasure, because of the word which Naboth the Izreelite had spoken vnto him. for hee had sayde, I will not giue thee the inheritance of my fathers, and he lay vpon his bed, and turned his face and would eate no bread.
5 Nimb’ama’e t’Iizebele tañanjomba’e, nanao ama’e ty hoe: Ino ty mahalonjetse o arofo’oo, ihe tsy mahafikama?
Then Iezebel his wife came to him and said vnto him, Why is thy spirit so sad that thou eatest no bread?
6 Le hoe re ama’e: Fa vinolako t’i Nabote nte-Iezreele ami’ty hoe: Aletaho amako an-drala o tanem-bahe’oo; he naho tea’o hitolorako tanem-bahe hafa ho solo’e; le hoe ty natoi’e: Tsy hatoloko azo i tanem-bahekoy.
And he said vnto her, Because I spake vnto Naboth the Izreelite, and sayd vnto him, Giue me thy vineyard for money, or if it please thee, I will giue thee another vineyard for it: but he answered, I wil not giue thee my vineyarde.
7 Le hoe t’Iizebele vali’e ama’e: Tsy ihe hao ty mifehe i fifehea’ Israeley? Miongaha, mikamà vaho mirebeha an-troke; fa hatoloko azo i tanem-bahen-te Iezreeley.
Then Iezebel his wife sayde vnto him, Doest thou nowe gouerne the kingdome of Israel? vp, eate bread, and be of good cheere, I will giue thee the vineyard of Naboth the Izreelite.
8 Aa le nanokitse taratasy re ami’ty tahina’ i Akabe naho vinoli-tombo’e am-bolim-pitombo’e naho nahitri’e amo androanavio naho amo roandriañe an-drovao vaho amo nitrao-pimoneñe amy Naboteo.
So she wrote letters in Ahabs name, and sealed them with his seale, and sent the letters vnto the Elders, and to the nobles that were in his citie dwelling with Naboth.
9 Hoe ty sinoki’e amy taratasy rey: Koiho ty lilitse le onjono ho aolo’ ondatio t’i Nabote;
And shee wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaime a fast, and set Naboth among the chiefe of the people,
10 naho ampipoho ondaty roe tsivokatse hiatrek’ aze, hanisý aze ami’ty hoe: Namatse an’ Andrianañahare naho i mpanjakay irehe. Le aseseo alafe ey re vaho ametsaho vato hihomaha’e.
And set two wicked men before him, and let them witnesse against him, saying, Thou diddest blaspheme God and the King: then cary him out, and stone him that he may dye.
11 Aa le nanoe’ ondati’ i rovaio, o androanavio naho o roandriañe mpimoneñe an-drova’ao i nahitri’ Iizebele am’ iereoy, i sinokitse amy taratasy nahitri’e am’iereoy.
And the men of his citie, euen the Elders and gouernours, which dwelt in his citie, did as Iezebel had sent vnto them: as it was written in the letters, which she had sent vnto them.
12 Nikoike lilitse iereo naho napoke aolo’ ondatio t’i Nabote.
They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth among the chiefe of the people,
13 Le nizilik’ ao t’indaty roe tsivokatse niambesatse añatrefa’e; nanara-vande amy Nabote añatrefa’ ondatio i tsivokatse rey, ami’ty hoe: Namatse an’ Andrianañahare naho i mpanjakay t’i Nabote. Aa le nasese’ iareo niakatse i rovay, nametsa-bato ama’e am-para’ te nihomake.
And there came two wicked men, and sate before him: and the wicked men witnessed against Naboth in the presence of the people saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the King. Then they caried him away out of the citie, and stoned him with stones, that he dyed.
14 Nahitri’ iereo amy Iizebele amy zao ty hoe: Fa nametsaham-bato t’i Nabote vaho nihomake.
Then they sent to Iezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned and is dead.
15 Aa ie tsinano’ Iizebele te finetsa-bato t’i Nabote vaho fa nihomake, le hoe t’Iizebele amy Akabe: Miongaha, rambeso i tanem-bahe’ i Nabote nte-Iezreeley, i tsy natolo’e azo an-dralay; amy te tsy veloñe t’i Nabote fa mate.
And when Iezebel heard that Naboth was stoned and was dead, Iezebel sayd to Ahab, Vp, and take possession of the vineyarde of Naboth the Izreelite, which he refused to giue thee for money: for Naboth is not aliue, but is dead.
16 Aa ie jinanji’ i Akabe te nihomake t’i Nabote, le niavotse mb’ amy tanem-bahe’ i Nabote nte-Iezreeley mb’eo t’i Akabe hanaña’e aze.
And when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, he rose to go downe to the vineyard of Naboth the Izreelite, to take possession of it.
17 Le niheo amy Elià nte-Tisbè ty tsara’ Iehovà, nanao ty hoe:
And the word of the Lord came vnto Eliiah the Tishbite, saying,
18 Miavota, mizotsoa hifanalaka amy Akabe mpanjaka’ Israele, mpimoneñe e Somerone; inao t’ie an-tanem-bahe’ i Nabote ao, nizotso mb’eo hanaña’e.
Arise, goe downe to meete Ahab King of Israel, which is in Samaria. loe, he is in the vineyarde of Naboth, whither he is gone downe to take possession of it.
19 Le ty hoe ty ho saontsie’o ama’e: Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà: Nañoho-doza hao irehe mbore mitavañe? Le isaontsio ty hoe: Hoe ty tsara’ Iehovà: Amy toetse nilelafan’ amboa ty lio’ i Nabotey ty hitselàn’ amboa o lio’oo—o azoo.
Therefore shalt thou say vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord, Hast thou killed, and also gotten possession? And thou shalt speake vnto him, saying, Thus sayth the Lord, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth, shall dogs licke euen thy blood also.
20 Le hoe t’i Akabe amy Elià: Fa nifanojo amako ry rafelahiko? Le hoe re, Mipay azo iraho, amy t’ie nanolo-batañe ami’ty hatsivokarañe am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà.
And Ahab sayd to Eliiah, Hast thou found mee, O mine enemie? And he answered, I haue found thee: for thou hast solde thy selfe to worke wickednes in the sight of the Lord.
21 Inao! hametsahako hankàñe naho havìko añe ty firaoraoa’o, le fonga haitoko amy Akabe ze mañary rano an-kijoly, ty migabeñe ao naho ty midada e Israele añe.
Beholde, I will bring euill vpon thee, and wil take away thy posteritie, and wil cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, as well him that is shut vp, as him that is left in Israel,
22 Le hampanahafeko amy anjomba’ Iarovame ana’ i Nabatey ty anjomba’o naho manahake ty anjomba’ i Baasà ana’ i Akià, ty amy kai-jaka nikaihe’o amakoy, vaho nampanaña’o hakeo t’Israele.
And I wil make thine house like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the sonne of Ahiiah, for the prouocation wherewith thou hast prouoked, and made Israel to sinne.
23 Le nitsara am’ Iizebele ka t’Iehovà, nanao ty hoe: Ho hane’ o amboao an-talaha’ Iezreele ao t’Iizebele.
And also of Iezebel spake the Lord, saying, The dogs shall eate Iezebel, by the wall of Izreel.
24 Ho hanen’ amboa ty miantantiritse a i Akabe an-drova ao vaho ho hane’ o voron-dikerañeo ty mibabòke an-kivok’ ao.
The dogs shall eate him of Ahabs stocke, that dyeth in the citie: and him that dyeth in the fieldes, shall the foules of the ayre eate.
25 Tsy ni-añohatse t’i Akabe ami’ ty fanolora’e vatañe hanoa’e hatsivokarañe am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà, ie nihehere’ i vali’e Iizebeley.
(But there was none like Ahab, who did fell him selfe, to worke wickednesse in the sight of the Lord: whom Iezebel his wife prouoked.
26 Norihe’e an-kaloloañe o hazomangao, manahake ty sata’ o nte-Amoreo, o rinoa’ Iehovà aolo’ o ana’ Israeleoo.
For he did exceeding abominably in following idoles, according to all that the Amorites did, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.)
27 Aa ie nahajanjiñe i tsara zay t’i Akabe le rinia’e o saro’eo naho nisikin-gony an-tsandri’e naho nililitse vaho nandre antsaron-gony le nijokojoko.
Nowe when Ahab heard those wordes, he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth vpon him and fasted, and lay in sackecloth and went softely.
28 Aa niheo amy Elià nte-Tisbý ty tsara’ Iehovà, ami’ty hoe:
And the worde of the Lord came to Eliiah the Tishbite, saying,
29 Isa’o hao te mirèke añatrefako t’i Akabe? Aa kanao niambane aoloko re le tsy hafetsako ama’e añ’andro’e i hankàñey, fa añ’andro’ o ana’eo ty hañendesako fehohatse amy akiba’ey.
Seest thou how Ahab is humbled before me? because he submitteth himselfe before me, I will not bring that euill in his dayes, but in his sonnes dayes wil I bring euill vpon his house.
