< 1 Jaona 2 >

1 Ry keleiakoo, isokirako o raha zao tsy handilara’ areo. Aa naho eo ty mandilatse, le manam-pañalañalañe aman-dRae tika, Iesoà Norizañey, i Vantañey.
My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous.
2 Ie ty fañeferañe o hakeon-tikañeo, tsy ty antikañ’ avao fa a ty voatse toy iaby.
And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
3 Zao ty aharendrehañe t’ie mahafohiñe aze, le t’ie mañambeñe o lili’eo.
This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commandments.
4 Ie manao ty hoe: Fantako re, fe tsy mañambeñe o lili’eo ro remborake, vaho tsy ama’e ty hatò.
One who says, "I know him," and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 Aa ndra ia ia mañambeñe o tsara’eo, le fonitse ama’e ao ty fikokoañe an’ Andrianañahare. Zao ty ahafohinañe t’ie ama’e:
But whoever keeps his word, God's love has truly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him:
6 ze manao te mimoneñe ama’e ao, tsy mahay tsy mañavelo amy fañaveloa’ey.
he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.
7 O ry rañetseo, tsy isokirako lily vao, fa i lily haehae tama’ areo am-pifotorañ’ añey. I lily taoloy i tsara jinanji’ areoy.
Beloved, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard.
8 Tovo’e, isokirako lily vao, ze tò ama’e naho ama’ areo, amy te mihelañ’ añe i ieñey vaho mireandreañe i toe hazàvañey.
Again, I write a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you; because the darkness is passing away, and the true light already shines.
9 Ze manao te an-kazavañe f’ie malain-dongo le mbe añ’ieñe ao.
He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now.
10 Mimoneñe an-kazavañe ao ty mikoko rahalahy, le tsy ama’e ty hahatsikapy aze.
He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.
11 Fe añ’ ieñe ao ty malain-dongo le an-kamoromoroñañe ao ty andenà’e, vaho alik’ ama’e ty hombà’e fa nigoà’ i ieñey o maso’eo.
But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
12 Manokitse ama’ areo iraho ry keleiako, fa votso-kakeo añamy tahina’ey.
I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
13 Manokitse ama’ areo iraho ry aba, amy te fohi’ areo i boak’am-baloha’ey. Manokitse ama’ areo iraho ry ajalahio, fa nahagioke i ratiy. Nanokitse ama’ areo iraho ry kabìy, amy te mahafohiñe an-dRae.
I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young people, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you know the Father.
14 Nanokitse ama’ areo iraho, ry aba, amy te fohi’ areo i boak’am-baloha’ey. Nanokitse ama’ areo iraho ry ajalahy, amy te maozatse, naho mimoneñe ama’ areo ao o tsaran’ Añahareo, vaho fa nahareketse i ratiy.
I have written to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young people, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
15 Ko mikoko ty voatse toy, ndra o raha ami’ty voatse toio. Naho eo ty mikoko ty voatse toy, tsy ama’e ty fikokoan-dRae.
Do not love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love is not in him.
16 Toe tsy boak’ aman-dRae fa hirik’ ami’ty voatse toy ze an-tane atoy iaby—ty hadrao’ o nofotseo, ty fihañam-pihaino naho ty fisengean-kaveloñe.—
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not the Father's, but is the world's.
17 Fa mihelañe añe ty voatse toy naho o ìna rati’eo, fe ho veloñe nainai’e ty manao o satrin’ Añahareo. (aiōn g165)
The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God's will remains forever. (aiōn g165)
18 Ry keleiako, fa sa sahengaha’e toy; ie nahajanjiñe te ho avy i norizam-bìlañey, toe maro ty norizam-bìlañe pok’eo henaneo. Izay ty aharendrehañe t’ie fa sa honka’e.
Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour.
19 Nienga an-tika iereo, fa toe tsy nimpiaman-tika. Naho toe ni-mpitraok’ aman-tika le mbe ho ni-mpiaman-tikañ’ avao; fa izay ty mampidodea te tsy ni-mpiaman-tika.
They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.
20 Fa nanàvoñe anahareo i Masiñey, vaho hene fohi’areo.
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
21 Tsy t’ie tsy mahafohiñe ty hatò ty nisokirako fa t’ie mahafohiñe, vaho tsy amam-bande ty hatò.
I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
22 Ia ty remborake naho tsy ty mandietse te Iesoà i Norizañey. Norizam-bìlan-dre, mpitety an-dRae naho i Anakey.
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.
23 Tsy aman-dRae ze mitety i Anakey; aman-dRae ka ze miantoke i Anakey.
Whoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.
24 Aa le ampimoneño ama’ areo ao i jinanji’ areo tam-baloha’ey. Ie imoneña’ i jinanjiñe am-baloha’ey, le himoneñe amy Anakey naho aman-dRae ao nahareo.
As for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
25 Zao i nampitamae’e antikañey, le i haveloñe nainai’e tsy modoy. (aiōnios g166)
This is the promise which he promised us, the everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Nisokireko ama’ areo irezao ty amo mipay hamañahio.
These things I have written to you concerning those who would lead you astray.
27 F’ie, toe imoneña’ i Fanavonañe niazo’ areo ama’ey, le tsy ipaiañe ka te hatoro ondaty, fa hitoroa’ i Fanavona’ey ze he’e, ie ro to, fa tsy vande—aa ty amy nañòha’e anahareoy, le imoneño.
As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you do not need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you remain in him.
28 Ie amy zao ry keleiako, imoneño, hahatokisan-tika amy fiboaha’ey, tsy hitsolofìñe an-kasalarañe te totsake.
Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
29 Kanao rendre’ areo t’ie vantañe, le fohi’ areo te hene mitoloñe ami’ty fahiti’e ze anake nampiareñe’e.
If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of him.
