< 1 Korintiana 5 >
1 Fa miboele te ama’ areo ty fifampirañaotañe, toe hakarapiloañe tsy amo kilakila’ ndatio: te eo ty miharo-lamba amy valin-drae’ey!
It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and such immorality as is not even among the heathen - that a man has taken his father’s wife!
2 Akore te iebotsebora’ areo! tsy hamake ho nandala? soa te ho naitòañe i nanao zay.
Yet you are puffed up instead of mourning and removing from among you the man who has done this thing.
3 Aa naho izaho, ndra te tsy eo am-batañe, le miatreke an-troke vaho fa zinakako i nanao zay, manahake t’ie eo.
For I, although absent in body, yet present in spirit, have already passed sentence, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, on him who has done this thing.
4 Ie mivory amy tahina’ Iesoà Talèntikañey, le ama’ areo an-troke iraho, ami’ty haozara’ Iesoà Talèntikañey,
When you are gathered together, and my spirit is with you together with the power of our Lord Jesus,
5 aa le aseseo amy mpañìnjey indatiy handrotsahañe i haondati’e hambo’ey, soa te ho rombaheñe ami’ty andro’ i Talè Iesoà i arofo’ey.
I have handed over such a man to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, that his spirit may be saved, in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6 Tsy mete ty firoharohà’ areo; tsy fohi’ areo hao te mahatsitsike ty boko’e ty lalivay kede.
Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that even a little leaven leavens all the lump?
7 Kohezo soa o lalivay hambo’eo soa t’ie ho boko’e vao, manahake t’ie tsy aman-dalivay, fa nisoroñañe ho antika i Norizañey, i Fihelan-tikañey
Then get rid of the old leaven, so that you may be like a new lump, as you are now unleavened. For our Paschal Lamb has already been sacrificed, Christ himself.
8 Aa le antao hiambeñe i sabadidakey, tsy aman-dalivay hambo’e, tsy aman-dalivain-kalo-tserehañe naho haratiañe, fa ami’ty tsy aman-dalivai’ i hatsò-troke naho hatòy.
So let us keep the unending feast, not with any old leaven, neither with leaven of malice and vice, but with unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9 Nisokirako amy taratasikoy te tsy hitrao-drehake amo manao hakarapiloañeo,
I told you in my letter not to associate with the immoral.
10 fe tsy t’ie ze fonga karapilo’ an’ tane atoy ndra ze mpihàñe naho mpikatramo ndra ze mpañori-pahasive, amy t’ie tsy mahay tsy ho niakatse an-tane atoy.
Not that in this world you were actually to have no contact with the immoral, the avaricious, the thievish, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world, altogether.
11 Fe nisokirako te tsy hitraofa’areo ty miantoñoñe ho longo, te mone mpañarapilo ndra mpitsikirìke, ndra mpitorom-pahasive, ndra mpañinje, ndra mpijike, ndra mpikatramo. Ko itraofam-pikama.
But what I wrote was that you were not to associate with any so- called brother who is immoral, or avaricious, or idolatrous, or abusive, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. No, with such persons do not even sit at table.
12 Inoñe ty izakako o alafe’eo? Tsy zakae’ areo hao o ama’ areoo?
What have I to do with the judging of outsiders? Must not you judge those who are within the church, while God judges outsiders?
13 I Andrianañahare ty hizaka o alafe’eo, fe Aitò ama’ areo i tsivokatsey.
Expel that wicked man from among you.
