< 1 Korintiana 12 >
1 Ty amo falalàn’ arofoo, ry longo, tsy teako hamoea’ areo.
And concerning the spiritual things, brothers, I do not wish you to be ignorant;
2 Fohi’ areo t’ie mbe nifehèa’ ty voatse toy, le nampandriheñe mb’amo raha fahasive moañeo, toe nikozozoteñe mb’eo.
you have known that you were nations, being carried away as you were led to the mute idols;
3 Aa le ampahafohineko, te tsy ia ty ampivolañe’ i Arofon’ Añaharey ty hoe: Afàtse t’Iesoà, vaho tsy eo ty mahafisaontsy ty hoe: Iesoà ro Talè, naho tsy i Arofo Masiñey.
for this reason, I give you to understand that no one, speaking in the Spirit of God, says Jesus [is] accursed, and no one is able to say Jesus [is] LORD, except in the Holy Spirit.
4 Miambakambake o falalàñeo, fe raike i Arofoy.
And there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit;
5 Mizarazara o fitoroñañeo, fe raike t’i Talè.
and there are diversities of ministries, and the same Lord;
6 Ankafankafa o tolon-drahao fe raike t’i Andrianañahare mifanehake ami’ty halifora’ ze he’e, vaho
and there are diversities of workings, and it is the same God—who is working all in all.
7 songa anolora’e vintañe raike boak’ amy Arofoy ho fañasoàñe i màroy;
And to each has been given the manifestation of the Spirit for profit;
8 anolora’e tsaran-kihitse amy Arofoy ty raike, le tsaran-kaharendrehañe amy Arofoy ty ila’e,
for to one through the Spirit has been given a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
9 le fatokisañe amy Arofoy ty ila’e, naho falalàm-pampijangañe amy Arofoy avao ty ila’e
and to another faith in the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings in the same Spirit;
10 naho fanoan-draha-tsitantane ty ila’e naho fitokiañe ty ila’e naho fahatsikaritam-pañahy ty ila’e naho fisaontsy-ankafankafa ty ila’e vaho fandikañe fisaontsy ty ila’e.
and to another in-workings of mighty deeds; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; and to another [various] kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues:
11 Fe Arofo raike ty manao i hene rezay, songa andiva’e ze satrie’e.
and the one and the same Spirit works all these, dividing to each individually as He intends.
12 Aa le hambañe amy te raike ty sandriñe fe maro o fangefange’eo, le ndra te maro o fangefange’eo, toe sandriñe raike, manahake zay i Norizañey.
For even as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ,
13 Toe ami’ty Arofo raike tika ro songa nalipotse amy fañòvay ao—ke Jiosy he Grika, ke ondevo he midada—sindre nampinomeñe amy Arofoy.
for also in one Spirit we were all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether servants or freemen, and all were made to drink one Spirit,
14 Toe tsy raike o fangefange an-tsandriñeo fa maro.
for also the body is not one member, but many.
15 Aa naho nanao ty hoe ty fandia: Kanao tsy fitàn-draho, tsy mpiamy fañòvay. Tsy manebañe aze tsy ho mpitraoke amy sandriñey zay.
If the foot may say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it not, because of this, not of the body?
16 Le ie manao ty hoe ty ravembia: Kanao tsy fihaino iraho, tsy mpiamy fañòvay. Tsy mikalañe aze tsy ho mpitraoke amy sandriñey zay.
And if the ear may say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it not, because of this, not of the body?
17 Naho ni-fihaino iaby i fañòvay, aia ty hijanjiña’e? Naho ni-fijanjiñañe iaby, aia ty hiantsona’e?
If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? If the whole hearing, where the smelling?
18 Ie amy zao, songa nalahan’ Añahare amy satri’ey o mpitraok’ amy fañòvaio.
And now, God set the members, each one of them in the body, according as He willed,
19 Aa naho sindre raha raike avao o fangefangeo, ino ty maha sandriñe aze?
and if all were one member, where [is] the body?
20 Ie amy zao, maro o fangefangeo fe raike ty sandriñe.
And now, indeed, [are] many members, but one body;
21 Tsy mahavolañe ty hoe ami’ty fitàñe ty fihaino: Tsy paiako irehe; ndra ty añambone amo fandiao ty hoe: Tsy ipaiako.
and an eye is not able to say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
22 Fe o mpitrao-tsandriñe atao malemeio ro toe paiàñe.
But much more the members of the body seeming to be weaker are necessary,
23 Mbore onjonen-tika o amy sandriñe ataontika ho ambane lohàñeo, naho ampihaminen-tikañe engeñe o fangefange tsy sengeñeo,
and those that we think to be less honorable of the body, around these we put more abundant honor, and our unseemly things have more abundant seemliness,
24 f’ie tsy paia’ o fangefange mahaboleakeo, fa rinanjin’ Añahare ho raike i fañòvay vaho tinolo’e asiñe ambone o fangefange tsy aman’ asiñeo,
and our seemly things have no need; but God tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to the lacking part,
25 soa tsy hifañambakambake i fañòvay, fa hene hifampiatrake mira o fangefangeo.
that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same anxiety for one another,
26 Aa ie misotry ty fange’e raike, mindre miore ama’e o fangefangeo; ie asiñeñe ty fange’e, le miharo firebeke ama’e o fangefangeo.
and whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with [it], or one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with [it];
27 Toe fañòva’ i Norizañey nahareo, songa fangefange ama’e.
and you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 Le nitendrèn’ Añahare amy Fivoriy ho valoha’e o Firàheñeo; faharoe o mpitokio, fahatelo o mpañokeo, le o raha-tsitantaneo, le o falalàm-panahàñeo, o fañimbàñeo, o fifeheañeo vaho o saontsy ankafankafao.
And some, indeed, God set in the Assembly: first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, afterward powers, afterward gifts of healings, helpings, governings, various kinds of tongues.
29 Songa Firàheñe hao? Sindre mpitoky hao? hene mpañoke hao? Sindre mpanao raha tsitantane hao?
[Are] all apostles? [Are] all prophets? [Are] all teachers? [Are] all powers?
30 Fonga amam-palalàm-panahàñe hao? Sindre misaontsy am-pameleke hao? Hene mpandika hao?
[Do] all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
31 Fe imaneo o falalàñe amboneo vaho mbe hitoroako ty sata fanjàka.
And earnestly desire the better gifts; and yet I show to you a far [more] excelling way:
