The sonnes of Iudah were Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.

And Reaiah the sonne of Shobal begat Iahath, and Iahath begate Ahumai, and Lahad: these are the families of the Zoreathites.
3 Zao o anan-drae’ i Etameo: Iezreele naho Ismà naho Idbase; naho anak’ ampela’e t’i Hatselelponý,
And these were of the father of Etam, Izreel, and Ishma and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi.
4 naho i Penoele rae’ i Gedore vaho i Ezere rae’ i Kosà. Ie ro ana’ i Kore, tañoloñoloña’ i Efratà rae’ i Betlekheme.
And Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah: these are the sonnes of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephratah, the father of Beth-lehem.
5 Nanam-baly roe t’i Asore, rae’ i Tekoa, i Kelàe naho i Naarae.
But Asher the father of Tekoa had two wiues, Heleah, and Naarah.

But Iabez was more honourable then his brethren: and his mother called his name Iabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorowe.

And Iabez called on the God of Israel, saying, If thou wilt blesse me in deede, and enlarge my coastes, and if thine hand be with me, and thou wilt cause me to be deliuered from euill, that I be not hurt. And God graunted the thing that he asked.

And Eshton begate Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of the citie of Nahash: these are the men of Rechah.
13 O ana’ i Kenazeo: i Otniele naho i Seraià; le o ana’ i Otnieleo: i Hatate vaho i Meonotae.
And the sonnes of Kenaz were Othniel and Zeraiah, and the sonne of Othniel, Hathath.
14 Nasama’ i Meonotae t’i Ofrà; le nasama’ i Seraià t’Ioabe, ty rae’ i vavatane’ i Karasimey; amy t’ie mpandranjy.
And Meonothai begate Ophrah. And Seraiah begate Ioab the father of the valley of craftesmen: for they were craftesmen.
15 O ana’ i Kalebeo, ana’ Iefonè: Irò naho i Elà vaho i Naame; le o ana’ i Elào, i Kenaze.
And the sonnes of Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh were Iru, Elah, and Naam. And the sonne of Elah was Kenaz.
16 O ana’ Iehalelaleo; i Zife naho i Zifa naho i Tirià vaho i Asarile.
And the sonnes of Iehaleel were Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.
17 O ana’ i Ezrào: Ietere naho i Merede naho i Efere naho Ialone; le ie ty nisamake i Miriame naho i Samaý naho Isbà, rae’ i Estemoà.
And the sonnes of Ezrah were Iether and Mered, and Epher, and Ialon, and he begate Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
18 Nasama’ ty vali’ Iehodià t’ Ierede rae’ i Gedore naho i Kevere, rae’ i Sokò naho Iekotiele rae’ i Zanoake. Ie ro ana’ i Bitaiae anak’ ampela’ i Parò nengae’ i Merede.
Also his wife Iehudiiah bare Iered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Iekuthiel the father of Zanoah: and these are the sonnes of Bithiah ye daughter of Pharaoh which Mered tooke.
19 Le o ana’ t’i Hodià vali’e, rahavave’ i Nakameo: rae’ i Keilà nte-Garmý naho i Estemoà nte-Maakà.
And the sonnes of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham the father of Keilah were the Garmites, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
20 O ana’ i Simoneo: i Amnone naho i Rinà naho i Bene-Kanàne vaho i Tilone. O ana’ Isio: i Zokete naho i Bene-Zokete.
And the sonnes of Shimon were Amnon and Rinnah, Ben-hanam and Tilon. And the sonnes of Ishi were Zoheth, and Benzoheth.
21 O ana’ i Selà, ana’ Iehodao: i Ere, rae’ i Lekà naho i Ladà, rae’ i Maresà naho ty anjomba’ o mpanenoñe leny boak’ añ’ anjomba’ i As’beào,
The sonnes of Shelah, the sonne of Iudah were Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the householdes of them that wrought fine linnen in the house of Ashbea.

These were potters, and dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his worke.
24 O ana’ i Simoneo; i Nemoele naho Iamine, Iaribe, i Zerake, i Saole.
The sonnes of Simeon were Nemuel, and Iamin, Iarib, Zerah, and Shaul,
25 I Salome ana’e, i Mibsame ana’e, i Mismà ana’e.
Whose sonne was Shallum, and his sonne, Mibsam, and his sonne Mishma.
26 O ana’ i Mismao; i Kamoele ana’e, i Zakore ana’e, i Simý ana’e.
And the sonnes of Mishma, Hamuel was his sonne, Zacchur his sonne, and Shimei his sonne.
27 Nanañ’ ana-dahy folo-eneñ’ amby naho anak’ ampela eneñe t’i Simý; fe tsy nanañ’ anake fire o longo’eo, le tsy nitombo manahake o ana’ Iehodào ty fifokoa’ iareo.
And Shimei had sixteene sonnes, and sixe daughters, but his brethren had not many children, neither was all their familie like to the children of Iudah in multitude.
28 Ie nimoneñe e Beere-sebà ao naho e Moladà naho e Katsare-soale
And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and at Moladah, and at Hazar Shual,
29 naho e Bilhà naho e Etseme naho e Tolade
And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
30 naho e Betoele naho e Kormà naho e Tsiklage
And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
31 naho e Bete-markabote naho e Katsare-sosime naho e Bete-birý vaho e Saaraime. Ie nirova ampara’ ty fifehea’ i Davide.
And at Beth-marcaboth, and at Hazar Susim, at Beth-birei, and at Shaaraim, these were their cities vnto the reigne of Dauid.

And their townes were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, fiue cities.
33 le nañohoke i rova rey ampara’ i Baale eo o tanà’ iareoo. Ie o fimoneña’ iareo vaho am’ iareo ao o fiantoño’ iareoo.
And all their townes that were rounde about these cities vnto Baal, These are their habitations and the declaration of their genealogie,
34 Le i Mesobabe naho Iamleke naho Iosà, ana’ i Amatsià,
And Meshobab, and Iamlech, and Ioshah the sonne of Amashiah,
35 naho Ioele naho Iehò, ana’ Iosibià, ana’ i Seraià, ana’ i Asiele.
And Ioel and Iehu the sonne of Ioshibiah, the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Asiel,
36 Le i Elioè-nahý naho Ia’akobà naho Iesokaià naho i Asaià naho i Adiele naho Iesimiele vaho i Benaià.
And Elionai, and Iaakobah, and Ieshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Iesimiel, and Benaiah,
37 Naho i Zizà ana’ i Sifý, ana’ i Alone, ana’ Iedaià, ana’ i Simrý, ana’ i Semaià.
And Ziza the sonne of Shiphei, the sonne of Allon, the sonne of Iedaiah, the sonne of Shimri, the sonne of Shemaiah.

These were famous princes in their families, and increased greatly their fathers houses.
39 Nimb’ am-pimoahañe e Gedore mb’eo naho atiñana’ i vavataney mb’eo iereo nipay ty handrazeñe o lia-rai’ iareoo.
And they went to the entring in of Gedor, euen vnto the East side of the valley, to seeke pasture for their sheepe.
40 Le tendreke fiandrazañe mitròñe naho tane soa bei-henehene, ie nianjiñe naho nierañerañe amy te nimoneñe ao haehae o nte-Kameo.
And they found fat pasture and good, and a wide land, both quiet and fruitfull: for they of Ham had dwelt there before.
41 Le o sinokitse an-tahinañe retoañe ty nivotrake eo tañ’ andro’ i Kezekià mpanjaka’ Iehoda, le linafa’ iereo o kiboho’eo naho ze nte-Meone nizoeñe ao, le vata’e nimongorañe ampara henaneo vaho nimoneñe an-toe’ iareo ao amy te am-piandrazañe o lia-rai’eo.
And these described by name, came in the dayes of Hezekiah king of Iudah, and smote their tents, and the inhabitants that were found there, and destroyed them vtterly vnto this day, and dwelt in their roume, because there was pasture there for their sheepe.

And besides these, fiue hundreth men of the sonnes of Simeon went to mount Seir, and Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rophaiah, and Vzziel the sonnes of Ishi were their captaines,
43 Le zinama’ iareo ty ila’ o nte Ameleke nipolititseo vaho mimoneñe ao pak’ androany.
And they smote the rest of Amalek that had escaped, and they dwelt there vnto this day.
