Six sons of [King] David were born in Hebron [city]. His oldest son was Amnon, whose mother Ahinoam was from Jezreel [city]. His next son was Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Carmel [city].

His next son was Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, the king [who ruled] in Geshur [town]. His next son was Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith.
3 i Sefatià amy Abitale ty faha lime; Itreame amy Eglàe vali’e, ty fah’ eneñe.
The next son was Shephatiah, whose mother was Abital. His youngest son was Ithream, whose mother was Eglah.
4 Nisamak’ ama’e e Kebrone ao i eneñe rey; ie nifelek’ ao fito-taoñe naho enem-bolañe; vaho nifehe telo-polo taoñe telo amby e Ierosalaime ao.
They were all born in Hebron, where David ruled for 7-1/2 years. After that, David ruled in Jerusalem for 33 years.

Many of David’s children were born in Jerusalem. Bathsheba, the daughter of Ammiel, gave birth to four of his sons: Shammua (OR, Shimea), Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon.

Nine [other sons of David were also born there. They were] Ibhar, Elishua (OR, Elishama), Eliphelet,

Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.

In addition to all those sons, David’s slave wives also gave birth to sons. David also had one daughter whose name was Tamar.

Solomon’s son was [King] Rehoboam. Rehoboam’s son was [King] Abijah. Abijah’s son was [King] Asa. Asa’s son was [King] Jehoshaphat.
11 ana’e t’Iorame, ana’e t’i Ahkazià, ana’e t’Ioase,
Jehoshaphat’s son was [King] Jehoram (OR, Joram). Jehoram’s son was [King] Ahaziah. Ahaziah’s son was [King] Joash.
12 ana’e t’i Ama­tsià, ana’e t’i Azarià, ana’e t’Iothame
Joash’s son was [King] Amaziah. Amaziah’s son was [King] Azariah. Azariah’s son was [King] Jotham.
13 ana’e t’i Ahkaze, ana’e t’i Kezekià, ana’e t’i Menasè,
Jotham’s son was [King] Ahaz. Ahaz’s son was [King] Hezekiah. Hezekiah’s son was [King] Manasseh.
14 ana’e t’i Amone, ana’e t’Iosià.
Manasseh’s son was [King] Amon. Amon’s son was [King] Josiah.
15 O ana’ Iosiào; Iokanane ty tañoloñoloña’e, Iehoiakime ty faharoe, i Tsidki ty fahatelo vaho i Salome ty fahefatse.
Josiah’s oldest son was Johanan. His other sons were Jehoiakim, Zedekiah, and Shallum.
16 O ana’ Iekoiakimeo: ana’e t’Iekonia, ana’e t’i Tsidkià.
Jehoiakim’s sons were Jehoiachin (OR, Jeconiah) and Zedekiah.
17 O ana’ Iekonià mpirohio; ana’e t’i Salatiele
[King] Jehoiachin was captured [and taken to Babylon]. His sons were Shealtiel,
18 naho i Malkirame naho i Pedaià naho i Senats’tsare, Iekamià, i Hosamà vaho i Nedabià.
Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 O ana’ i Pedaiào: i Zerobabele naho i Simeý; le o ana’ i Zerobabeleo: I Mesolame naho i Kananià vaho i Selomìte rahavave’ iareo;
Pedaiah’s sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. [Two of] Zerubbabel’s sons were Meshullam and Hananiah, and their sister was Shelomith.
20 naho i Kasobà naho i Ohele naho i Bere­kià naho i Kasadià vaho Iosabe-kesede, lime.
[Zerubbabel’s] five [other sons were] Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-Hesed.
21 O ana’ i Kananiào, i Pelatià naho Iesaià, ana’e t’i Refaià; ana’e t’i Arnane; ana’e t’i Obadià; ana’e t’i Sekanià.
The descendants of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. Jeshaiah’s son was Rephaiah. Rephaiah’s son was Arnan. Arnan’s son was Obadiah. Obadiah’s son was Shecaniah.
22 Le o ana’ i Sekaniào: i Semaià, le o ana’ i Semaiào: i Katose naho Igeale naho i Barià naho i Nearià vaho i Safate, eneñe.
Shecaniah’s son was Shemaiah. Shemaiah’s five sons were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
23 O ana’ i Neariào: i Elioenay naho i Kezekià vaho i Azrikame, telo.
Neariah’s three sons were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam.
24 Le o ana’ i Eli­oenaio: i Hodaià naho i Eliasibe naho i Pelaia naho i Akobe naho Iokanane naho i Dalaià vaho i Ananý, fito.
Elioenai’s seven sons were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
