1 Ty famoliliañe o ana’ Israeleo, o talèn’ anjomban-droae naho o mpifelek’ arivo naho zatoo naho o roandriañe mpitoroñe i mpanjakaio aman-dra inoñ’ inoñe amo firimboñañe mimoak’ ao naho miavotse mb’eo am-bolañ’ am-bolañe amo hene volan-taoñeo, ie songa ro’ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ami’ty firimboñañe.
And [these] are the children of Israel after their number, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, which came in and went out month by month throughout the months of the year; in every division were twenty-four thousand.
2 Ambone’ ty firimboñam-bolam-baloha’e t’Iasobeame ana’ i Zabdiele,
Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
3 tarira’ i Peretse, ie nitalèm-pifehe’ i valobohòkey amy volam-baloha’ey.
He was of the children of Pherez, the head of all the captains of the hosts for the first month.
4 Ambone’ i firimboñam-bolam-paharoey t’i Doday nte Akoký, i Miklote nitalè’ i firimboñañey; ro’ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite; and in his division was Mikloth ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5 I Benaià ana’ Iehoiada, mpisoroñe, mpiaolo, nimpifehe’ fahatelo’ i valobohòkey ho am-bolam-pahatelo, ro’ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah (the son of Jehoiada, a principal officer): [he was] head; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
6 Ie i Benanià nifanalolahy amy telopoloy naho nifehe i telopoloy; talè i firimboña’ey t’i Amizabade ana’e.
This Benaiah was a mighty man among the thirty, and above the thirty; and in his division was Ammizabad his son.
7 Ty fah’ efatse ho am-bolam-pahefatse le i Asaele, rahalahi’ Ioabe naho i Zebadià ana’e ty nandimbe aze; ro’ ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The fourth for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
8 Ty fahalime ho am-bolam-pahalime i Samhote nte Iizrake; ni-ro’ ale-tsi-efats’ arivo amy firimboña’ey.
The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Jizrahite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
9 Ty fah’ eneñe ho am-bolam-pah’ eneñe i Irà ana’ Ikese nte-Tekoy; ro’ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The sixth for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
10 Ty faha-fito ho am-bolam-pahafito, i Keletse, nte-Pelone, tarira’ i Efraime; ro’ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The seventh for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
11 Ty fahavalo ho am-bolam-pahavalo i Sibekay nte Kosate, tarira’ i Zerake; ro’ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
12 Ty fahasive ho am-bolam-pahasive, i Abiezere, nte Anatote, tarira’ i Beniamine; ro’ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The ninth for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjaminites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
13 Ty fahafolo ho am-bolam-pahafolo, i Makray, nte Netofate, tarira’ i Zarkry, ro’ ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
14 Ty fahafolo-raik’ amby ho am-bolam-pahafolo-raik’ amby, i Benaià, nte Pirato, tarira’ i Efraime; ro’ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
15 Ty fahafolo-ro’ amby ho am-bolam-pahafolo-ro’ amby, i Keldày nte-Netofate, tarira’ i Otniele, ro’ ale-tsi-efats’ arivo ro amy firimboña’ey.
The twelfth for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
16 Aa naho ty nifehe’ o fifokoa’ Israeleo: Amo nte-Reobeneo, i Eliezere ana’ i Zikrý, nitalè; amo nte-Simoneo, i Sefatià, ana’ i Maakà;
And over the tribes of Israel were: for the Reubenites Eliezer the son of Zichri was the prince; for the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah;
17 amy Levý, i Kasabià, ana’ i Kemoele; amy Aharone, i Tsadoke;
for the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; for Aaron, Zadok;
18 amy Iehodà, i Elihò, rahalahi’ i Davide; amy Isakare, i Omrý ana’ i Mikaele;
for Judah, Elihu of the brethren of David; for Issachar, Omri the son of Michael;
19 amy Zebolone, Ismaià ana’ i Obadià; amy Naftalý, Ierimote ana’ i Azriele;
for Zebulun, Jishmaiah the son of Obadiah; for Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel;
20 amo ana’ i Efraimeo, i Hoseà ana’ i Azazià; amy vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasèy, Ioele ana’ i Pedaià;
for the children of Ephraim, Hosea the son of Azaziah; for the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah;
21 amy vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasè e Giladey, Idò ana’ i Zekarià; amy Beniamine, Iaasiele, ana’ i Abnere;
for the half [tribe] of Manasseh in Gilead, Jiddo the son of Zechariah; for Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner;
22 amy Dane, i Azarele, ana’ Ierokame. Ie ro mpiaolo o fifokoa’ Israeleo.
for Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23 Tsy niahe’ i Davide ze ambane ty roapolo taoñe, ami’ty nafè’ Iehovà te hampitomboe’e manahake o vasian-dikerañeo t’Israele.
And David took not their number from twenty years old and under; for Jehovah had said he would increase Israel as the stars of heaven.
24 Toe niorotse nañiake t’Ioabe ana’ i Tseroià fe tsy nahatafetetse naho nifetsak’ am’ Israele ty haviñerañe vaho tsy nazilik’ amo talili’ i Davide, mpanjakao, i iakey.
Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he did not finish; and there fell wrath for it upon Israel; and the number was not put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25 Nifehe o fanontonam-bara’ i mpanjakaio t’i Azmavete ana’ i Adiele; le nifehe o trañom-bara an-kivok’ ey naho amo rovao naho amo tanàñeo vaho amo fitalakesañ’ aboo t’Iehonatane, ana’ i Otsià.
And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel; and over the storehouses in the country, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah.
26 Le nifehe o nitoloñe an-tetek’ ao o mpiava-taneo, t’i Etsrý ana’ i Kelobe;
And over them that worked in the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27 le nifehe o tanem-baheo t’i Simeý nte Ramà; le nifehe ty voka’ o tanembaheo ho amo lakaton-divaio t’i Zabdý nte-Sifmý;
And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards of stores of wine was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28 nifehe o zaite naho sakoañe amo vavataneoo t’i Baale-kanane nte-Gedere; naho nifehe o lakato-menakeo t’Ioase.
and over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland was Baal-hanan the Gederite; and over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29 Le nifehe o mpirai-troke nandrazeñe e Saroneo t’i Sitraý nte-Sarone; naho nifehe o mpirai-troke am-bavataneo t’i Safate, ana’ i Adlaý;
And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30 nifehe o ramevao ka t’i Obile nte-Ismaele; naho nifehe o birìkeo t’Iekdeià nte-Meronote;
And over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite; and over the asses was Jehdiah the Meronothite.
31 le nifehe o lia-raikeo t’Iazize, nte-Hagrý. Ie ro mpifehe ty vara’ i Davide mpanjaka.
And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagarite. All these were comptrollers of the substance which was king David's.
32 Nimpanoro-kevetse naho ondaty mahihitse vaho mpanokitse t’Ionatane rahalahin-drae’ i Davide; mpañabey o anam-panjakao t’Iekiele ana’ i Kakmoný.
And Jonathan, David's uncle, was counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe; and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons;
33 Nimpanolo-heve’ i mpanjakay t’i Akitofele naho mpiamy mpanjakay t’i Kosay nte-Ereke;
and Ahithophel was the king's counsellor; and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend;
34 nandimbe i Akitofele t’Iehoiadà ana’ i Benaià naho i Abiatare; vaho nimpifehe o lahindefo’ i mpanjakaio t’Ioabe.
and after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and Joab was captain of the king's army.
