1 Zao o firimboñan’ ana’ i Aharoneo: O ana’ i Aharoneo: i Nadabe naho i Abihò, i Eleazare naho Itamare.
Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, —the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;
2 Toe nihomake taolon-drae’e t’i Nadabe naho i Abihò, ie mbe tsy nisamake; aa le i Eleazare naho Itamare ty nitoloñe ho mpisoroñe,
but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, —but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;
3 le nitraok’ amy Tsadoke tarira’ i Eleazare naho i Akimeleke tarira’ Itamare t’i Davide nizara iareo am-pirimboñañe ty amo fitoroñañeo.
and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, —by their appointed place in their service.
4 Ie amy zao nimaro ty talè amo tarira’ i Eleazareo te amo tarira’ Itamareo; le zao ty nizarañe iareo: folo-eneñ’ amby ty amo talèn-anjomban-droae’eo ty ana’ i Eleazare, naho valo ty amo anjomban-droae’eo ty ana’ Itamare.
But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, —the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.
5 Aa le nifanjara an-kitsapake iereo, ty raike naho ty ila’e vaho songa nanañe mpiaolo amy toetse masiñey naho mpiaolo aman’ Añahare o ana’ i Eleazareo naho o ana’ Itamareo.
They divided them, therefore, by [casting] lots, these with those, —for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.
6 I Semaià, ana’ i Netanele, nte-Levý, mpanokitse, ty nanokitse iareo añatrefa’ i mpanjakay naho o mpiaoloo naho i Tsadoke mpisoroñe naho i Akimelek’ ana’ i Abiatare naho o talèn-droaem-pisoroñeo vaho o nte-Levio; rinambe ami’ty anjomban-droae raike ty ho a i Eleazare vaho rinambe ami’ty ila’e ty ho a Itamare.
And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, —one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.

for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.
19 Izay o firimboña’ iareoo naho ty filaharam-pitoroña’ iareo añ’anjomba’ Iehovà ao, ty amy lily natolotse am-pità’ i Aharone rae’ iareoy, i nandilia’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israeley.
These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, —just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.
20 Aa naho o ana’ i Levý nisisao: amo ana’ i Amrameo: i Sobaele; amo ana’ i Sobaeleo, Iedeià.
Now, as for the sons of Levi who remained, of the sons of Amram, Shubael, of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

23 Amo ana’ i Kebroneo, Ierià talè; faharoe i Amarià, fahatelo Iakaziele, fah’ efatse Iekameame.
and, the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah, —Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;
24 Amo ana’ i Oziele, i Mikà; amo ana’ i Mikào, i Samire.

26 o ana’ i Merarìo: i Maklý naho i Mosý; o anan’ ana’ Iaaziào;
The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, —the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;
27 toe o ana’ i Merarìo amy ana’e Iaaziày, i Sohame naho i Zakore vaho Ivrý.
the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:

of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;
29 Amy Kise: o ana’ i Kiseo, Ierakmeele.
of Kish—the sons of Kish, Jerameel;
30 O ana’ i Mosio; i Maklý naho i Edere vaho Ierimote. Ie ro ana’ o nte-Levio ty amo anjomban-droae’eo.
and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.
31 Nifanao kitsapake ka iereo manahake o longo’ iareo ana-dahi’ i Aharoneo, añatrefa’ i Davide mpanjaka naho i Tsadoke naho i Akimeleke naho o talèn’ anjomban-droaem-pisoroñeo naho o nte-Levio—o talèn-droaeo naho o zai’eo.
Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
