< Zakaria 6 >
1 Ary natopiko indray ny masoko ka hitako fa, indreo, nisy kalesy efatra nivoaka avy teo anelanelan’ ny tendrombohitra roa; ary tendrombohitra varahina ireo tendrombohitra ireo.
I looked up again, and [in the vision] I saw four chariots coming toward me. [They were coming] between two mountains [that were made] of bronze.
2 Tamin’ ny kalesy voalohany dia nisy soavaly mena; tamin’ ny kalesy faharoa dia soavaly mainty;
The first chariot [was pulled by] red horses, the second chariot [was pulled by] black horses,
3 tamin’ ny kalesy fahatelo dia soavaly fotsy; ary tamin’ ny kalesy fahefatra dia soavaly sadamena.
the third chariot [was pulled by] white horses, and the fourth chariot [was pulled by] spotted gray horses. They were all very strong horses.
4 Dia nanontany tamin’ ilay anjely niresaka tamiko aho ka nanao hoe: Inona moa ireo, tompoko?
I asked the angel who had been speaking to me, “Sir, what do those chariots mean?”
5 Ary ilay anjely namaly ka nilaza tamiko hoe: Ireo no rivotra efatry ny lanitra, izay mivoaka avy nitsangana teo anatrehan’ ny Tompon’ ny tany rehetra.
The angel replied, “They have come from standing in the presence of the Lord who controls/rules the entire earth. They will go across the sky in four directions.
6 Io misy ny soavaly mainty dia mivoaka mankamin’ ny tany avaratra; ary ny fotsy nivoaka nanaraka azy; ary ny sada nivoaka nankamin’ ny tany atsimo.
The chariot [pulled by] black horses will go north, the [one pulled by] white horses will go west, the one [pulled by] spotted gray horses will go south.”
7 Ary ny mena dia nivoaka ka nitady handeha hivoivoy eny amin’ ny tany; dia hoy izy: Mandehana ianareo, mivoivoiza eny amin’ ny tany. Ka dia nandeha nivoivoy teny amin’ ny tany izy.
When those powerful horses left, their [chariot-drivers] were eager to go throughout the world. [As they were leaving, ] the angel said to them, “Go throughout the world [and see what is happening]!” So that is what they did.
8 Dia nitaraina mafy tamiko izy ka niteny tamiko hoe: Indro, ireo izay mivoaka mankamin’ ny tany avaratra dia nampionona ny fanahiko tany amin’ ny tany avaratra.
Then the angel called to me [and said], “Look/Listen, the [drivers of the] chariots that have gone north will do what the Spirit [of Yahweh wants them to do] there.”
9 Ary tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
Then Yahweh gave me [another] message.
10 Mandraisa avy amin’ ny babo, dia amin’ i Helday sy Tobia ary Jedaia, eny, mandehana amin’ izany andro izany ihany ianao, ka midìra ao an-tranon’ i Josia, zanak’ i Zefania, izay novantaniny nony vao tonga avy tany Babylona izy,
He said, “Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah will be bringing some silver and gold from the people who were (exiled in/forced to go to) Babylon. As soon as they arrive, go to the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah.
11 eny, mandraisa volafotsy sy volamena, ka ataovy satro-boninahitra, dia apetraho eo an-dohan’ i Josoa, zanak’ i Jozadaka, mpisoronabe;
Take [some of that] silver and gold from them and make a crown. Then put it on the head of Jehozadak’s son Joshua, the Supreme Priest.
12 dia lazao aminy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro: Indro Lehilahy atao hoe Rantsana; ary hitsimoka eo am-pitoerany ihany Izy sady hanao ny tempolin’ i Jehovah.
Tell him that [I], the Commander of the armies of angels, say that the man who is called the Branch will come. He will leave the place where he is now, and he will [supervise those who] build my temple.
13 Eny, Izy no hanao ny tempolin’ i Jehovah, ary Izy no hitondra voninahitra ka hipetraka sy hanapaka eo amin’ ny seza fiandrianany; ary ho mpisorona eo amin’ ny seza fiandrianany Izy; ary hisy fisainam-pihavanana amin’ izy roroa.
He is the one who [will tell those who] will build my temple [what to do]. He will wear royal clothing and he will sit on his throne and rule. There will also be a priest [sitting] next to his throne, and the two of them will work together harmoniously.
14 Ary ny satro-boninahitra dia ho an’ i Helema sy Tobia sy Jedaia ary Hena, zanak’ i Zefania, ho fampahatsiarovana ao amin’ ny tempolin’ i Jehovah.
The crown must be [kept] in my temple to remind people of what Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Josiah [did for them].
15 Ary izay lavitra dia ho avy ka hanao ao amin’ ny tempolin’ i Jehovah, ka dia ho fantatrareo fa Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, no naniraka ahy ho aminareo. Dia ho tonga izany, raha hazoto hihaino ny feon’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo ianareo.
People who are [living] far away will come and [help to] build my temple. When that happens, the people will know that [I], the Commander of the armies of angels, have sent you to them. [That will happen] if they faithfully obey me, Yahweh, your/their God.”
