Salamo 99

1 Jehovah no Mpanjaka aoka hangovitra ny firenena; Mipetraka amin’ ny kerobima Izy, aoka hihorohoro ny tany.

Jehovah hath reigned, peoples tremble, The Inhabitant of the cherubs, the earth shaketh.

2 Lehibe any Ziona Jehovah; Ary avo ambonin’ ny firenena rehetra Izy.

Jehovah in Zion [is] great, And high He [is] over all the peoples.

3 Aoka hidera ny anaranao lehibe sy mahatahotra ireo; Fa masìna Jehovah.

They praise Thy name, 'Great, and fearful, holy [it] is.'

4 Ny herin’ ny mpanjaka dia tia rariny; Ampitoerinao ny fahitsiana; Fitsarana sy fahamarinana no ataonao eo amin’ i Jakoba.

And the strength of the king Hath loved judgment, Thou — Thou hast established uprightness; Judgment and righteousness in Jacob, Thou — Thou hast done.

5 Manandrata an’ i Jehovah Andriamanitsika ianareo, Ka miankohofa eo amin’ ny fitoeran-tongony; Fa masìna Izy.

Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And bow yourselves at His footstool, holy [is] He.

6 Mosesy sy Arona tamin’ ny mpisorony, Ary Samoela tamin’ izay mpiantso ny anarany, Niantso an’ i Jehovah ireo, ary namaly: azy Izy.

Moses and Aaron among His priests, And Samuel among those proclaiming His name. They are calling unto Jehovah, And He doth answer them.

7 Niteny taminy tao anatin’ ny andri-rahona Izy; Nitandrina ny teni-vavolombelony izy ireo, Dia ny didy izay efa nomeny azy.

In a pillar of cloud He speaketh unto them, They have kept His testimonies, And the statute He hath given to them.

8 Jehovah Andriamanitray ô, Hianao no namaly ny nataony; Andriamanitra, Mpamela ny helony, Hianao, Na dia namaly azy noho ny nataony aza.

O Jehovah, our God, Thou hast afflicted them, A God forgiving Thou hast been to them, And taking vengeance on their actions.

9 Asandrato Jehovah Andriamanitsika, Ary miankohofa eo an-tendrombohiny masìna; Fa masìna Jehovah Andriamanitsika.

Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And bow yourselves at His holy hill, For holy [is] Jehovah our God!
