< Salamo 95 >
1 Avia, aoka isika hihoby ho an’ i Jehovah; Aoka isika hanao feo fifaliana ho an’ ny Vatolampy famonjena antsika.
Come! Let us ring out our joy to the Lord, let us merrily shout to our rock of salvation.
2 Aoka hankeo anatrehany amin’ ny fiderana isika; Aoka hanao feo fifaliana ho Azy amin’ ny fihirana isika.
Before his face let us come with thanks, with songs of praise let us shout to him.
3 Fa Andriamanitra lehibe Jehovah, Ary Mpanjaka lehibe ambonin’ ny andriamanitra rehetra Izy.
For the Lord is a great God, king above all gods.
4 Eo an-tànany ny fitoerana lalina amin’ ny tany; Ary Azy ny tendrombohitra avo.
In his hand are the depths of the earth, the heights of the mountains are his.
5 Azy ny ranomasina, fa Izy no nanao azy, Ary ny tany maina dia noforonin’ ny tànany.
The sea is his, for he made it: the dry land was formed by his hands.
6 Avia, ka aoka hiondrika sy hiankohoka isika; Aoka isika handohalika eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, Mpanao antsika;
Come! Let us worship and bow on our knees to the Lord our creator.
7 Fa Izy no Andriamanitsika; Ary olona fiandriny sy ondry tandremany isika. Enga anie ka hohenoinareo anio ny feony manao hoe:
For he is our God; and we are the people he tends, the sheep in his care. If only you would heed his voice today:
8 Aza manamafy ny fonareo tahaka ny tao Meriba, Sy tahaka ny tamin’ ny andro tao Masa fony tany an-efitra,
“Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, or at Massah, that day in the desert,
9 Izay nakan’ ny razanareo fanahy Ahy, Sy nizahany toetra Ahy, na dia efa hitany aza ny asako.
when your ancestors tempted and tried me, though they had seen my deeds.
10 Efa-polo taona no nahamonamonaina Ahy tamin’ izany taranaka izany, Ka hoy Izaho: Olona maniasia amin’ ny fony izy Ka tsy mahalala ny lalako;
“For forty years I was filled with loathing for that generation, so I said: ‘A people with wandering hearts are they, and ignorant of my ways.’
11 Ka dia nianiana tamin’ ny fahatezerako Aho hoe: Tsy hiditra amin’ ny fitsaharako mihitsy izy.
So I solemnly swore to them in my anger, that never would they enter my place of rest.”
