1 Jehovah, Andriamanitra Mpamaly ny natao, ô, Andriamanitra, Mpamaly ny natao, ô, mamirapirata.
O Lord God the auenger, O God the auenger, shewe thy selfe clearely.
2 Misandrata, ry Mpitsara ny tany, ô; Mamalia ny mpiavonavona.
Exalt thy selfe, O Iudge of the worlde, and render a reward to the proude.
3 Mandra-pahoviana re ny ratsy fanahy, Jehovah ô, Mandra-pahoviana re no mbola hifalifaly ny ratsy fanahy?
Lord how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 Mirezadrezatra sy miteny sahisahy izy; Mirehareha ny mpanao ratsy rehetra.
They prate and speake fiercely: all the workers of iniquitie vaunt themselues.
5 Ny olonao, Jehovah ô, torotoroiny, Ary ny lovanao ampahoriny;
They smite downe thy people, O Lord, and trouble thine heritage.
6 Ny mpitondratena sy ny vahiny vonoiny, Ary ny kamboty dia matiny
They slay the widowe and the stranger, and murder the fatherlesse.
7 Fa hoy izy: Tsy mijery Jehovah, Ary tsy mandinika Andriamanitr’ i Jakoba.
Yet they say, The Lord shall not see: neither will the God of Iaakob regard it.
8 Mahalalà ianareo olona ketrina; Ary ianareo adala, rahoviana re no mba ho hendry ianareo?
Vnderstande ye vnwise among the people: and ye fooles, when will ye be wise?
9 Ny Mpanao ny sofina va tsy handre? Ny Mpamorona ny maso va tsy hahita?
Hee that planted the eare, shall hee not heare? or he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 Ny Mpampianatra ny jentilisa va tsy hananatra, Dia Izay mampianatra fahalalana ny olona?
Or he that chastiseth the nations, shall he not correct? hee that teacheth man knowledge, shall he not knowe?
11 Jehovah no mahalala ny hevitry ny olona, Fa zava-poana izany.
The Lord knoweth the thoughtes of man, that they are vanitie.
12 Sambatra izay olona anarinao, Jehovah ô, Sady ampianarinao avy amin’ ny lalanao,
Blessed is the man, whom thou chastisest, O Lord, and teachest him in thy Lawe,
13 Mba homenao fitsaharana amin’ ny andro fahoriana izy, Mandra-pihady lavaka ho an’ ny ratsy fanahy.
That thou mayest giue him rest from the dayes of euill, whiles the pitte is digged for the wicked.
14 Fa Jehovah tsy mba hanary ny olony, Ary ny lovany tsy hafoiny.
Surely the Lord will not faile his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 Fa ny fitsarana hiverina ho amin’ ny fahamarinana, Ary hanaraka izany ny mahitsy fo rehetra
For iudgement shall returne to iustice, and all the vpright in heart shall follow after it.
16 Iza no hitsangana ho ahy hisakana ny mpanao ratsy? Iza no hiseho ho ahy hisakana ny mpanao meloka?
Who will rise vp with me against the wicked? or who will take my part against the workers of iniquitie?
17 Raha tsy Jehovah no Mpamonjy ahy, Dia efa saiky nalaky nitoetra tao amin’ ny mangingina ny fanahiko.
If the Lord had not holpen me, my soule had almost dwelt in silence.
18 Fony aho nanao hoe: Mangozohozo ny tongotro, Dia ny famindram-ponao, Jehovah ô, no nanohana ahy.
When I said, My foote slideth, thy mercy, O Lord, stayed me.
19 Raha be ny ahiahy ato anatiko Dia mampifaly ny fanahiko ny fampiononanao.
In the multitude of my thoughts in mine heart, thy comfortes haue reioyced my soule.
20 Hikambana aminao va ny seza fiandrianan’ ny ratsy, Izay misaina fampahoriana manohitra ny lalàna?
Hath the throne of iniquitie fellowship with thee, which forgeth wrong for a Lawe?
21 Manao andiany hamely ny fanahin’ ny marina ireo Ka manameloka ny rà marina.
They gather them together against the soule of the righteous, and condemne the innocent blood.
22 Fa tonga fiarovana avo ho ahy Jehovah; Ary vatolampy fialofako Andriamanitro.
But the Lord is my refuge, and my God is the rocke of mine hope.
23 Dia ampanodiaviny azy ireo ny helony ka aringany noho ny faharatsiany izy; Eny, aringan’ i Jehovah Andriamanitsika izy.
And hee will recompence them their wickednes, and destroy them in their owne malice: yea, the Lord our God shall destroy them.
