< Salamo 77 >
1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Al-jedotona. Salamo nataon’ i Asafa. Ny feoko dia mankany amin’ Andriamanitra, ka mitaraina aho; eny, ny feoko mankany amin’ Andriamanitra, ka mihaino ahy Izy.
For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by Asaph. My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.
2 Tamin’ ny andro fahoriako no nitadiavako ny Tompo; ny tanako nasandratra nony alina ka tsy vizana; ny fanahiko tsy nety nampiononina.
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.
3 Ta-hahatsiaro an’ Andriamanitra aho, ka dia nisento; te-hieritreritra aho, ka dia reraka ny fanahiko. (Sela)
I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. (Selah)
4 Mampiari-tory ny masoko Hianao; mitebiteby aho ka tsy mahateny.
You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak.
5 Nihevitra ny andro fahiny aho, dia ny taon-dasa ela.
I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
6 Ta-hahatsiaro ny nitendreko valiha tamin’ ny alina aho; te-hidinidinika amin’ ny foko aho, ary ny fanahiko nanontany mafy hoe:
I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:
7 Hanary mandrakizay va ny Tompo? Tsy hankasitraka intsony va Izy?
“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?
8 Efa nitsahatra mandrakizay va ny famindram-pony? Efa tapitra mandrakizay va ny teniny?
Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?
9 Efa nanadino hamindra fo va Andriamanitra? Efa nohidiany an-katezerana va ny fiantràny? (Sela)
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” (Selah)
10 Ary hoy izaho: Izao no mahararirary ny foko, dia ny niovan’ ny tanana ankavanan’ ny Avo Indrindra.
Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”
11 Hampahatsiaro ny asan’ i Jehovah aho, fa ta-hahatsiaro ny fahagagana nataonao fony taloha;
I will remember the LORD’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.
12 Eny hisaina ny asanao rehetra aho, ary hihevitra ny nataonao.
I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.
13 Andriamanitra ô, amin’ ny fitoerana masìna ny lalanao; iza no andriamani-dehibe tahaka an’ Andriamanitra?
Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?
14 Hianao no Andriamanitra Izay manao fahagagana; efa nampahalala ny herinao teny amin’ ny firenena Hianao.
You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.
15 Navotan’ ny sandrinao ny olonao, dia ny taranak’ i Jakoba sy Josefa. (Sela)
You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 Ny rano be nahita Anao, Andriamanitra ô, ny rano be nahita Anao ka toran-kovitra; eny, nanonjanonja ny lalina.
The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.
17 Nandatsaka ranonorana ny rahona; nikotrokotroka ny lanitra; nifanaretsaka koa ny zana-tsipìkanao.
The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.
18 Ny fikotrokotroky ny kotrokorana dia teo amin’ ny tadio; nahazava izao rehetra izao ny helatra; nihovotrovotra sy nihorohoro ny tany.
The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.
19 Tany amin’ ny ranomasina ny lalanao, ary ny nalehanao dia tany amin’ ny rano mandriaka, ka tsy fantatra ny dian-tongotrao.
Your way was through the sea, your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.
20 Ny tanan’ i Mosesy sy Arona no nitondranao ny olonao toy ny ondry.
You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
