Salamo 75
1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Al-tasheth. Salamo nataon’ i Asafa. Tonon-kira. Hisaoranay Hianao, Andriamanitra ô; eny, hisaoranay Hianao; fa akaiky ny anaranao; mitory ny fahagagana ataonao ny olona.
TO THE OVERSEER. “DO NOT DESTROY.” A PSALM OF ASAPH. A SONG. We have given thanks to You, O God, We have given thanks, and Your Name [is] near, They have recounted Your wonders.
2 Fa ho avy tokoa amin’ ny fotoana Aho; eny, Izaho no hitsara marina.
When I receive an appointment, I judge uprightly.
3 Mihorohoro ny tany sy ny mponina rehetra eo aminy, nefa Izaho no nanorina ny andriny. (Sela)
The earth and all its inhabitants are melted, I have pondered its pillars. (Selah)
4 Hoy izaho tamin’ ny mpirehareha: aza mirehareha, ary tamin’ ny ratsy fanahy: aza manandra-tandroka;
I have said to the boastful, “Do not be boastful,” And to the wicked, “Do not raise up a horn.”
5 Aza manandratra ny tandrokareo ho avo; ary aza miteny sahisahy amin’ ny fahamafian-katoka.
Do not raise up your horn on high (You speak with a stiff neck).
6 Fa tsy avy any atsinanana, na avy any andrefana, na avy any atsimo, ny fisandratana.
For not from the east, or from the west, Nor from the wilderness—[is] elevation.
7 Fa Andriamanitra no Mpitsara; mampietry ny anankiray Izy ary manandratra ny anankiray kosa.
But God [is] judging, This He makes low—and this He lifts up.
8 Fa misy kapoaka eo an-tànan’ i Jehovah, feno divay mandroatra miharoharo zavatra iny, ka ampisotroany; eny, ny ratsy fanahy rehetra amin’ ny tany dia hitroka ny faikany.
For a cup [is] in the hand of YHWH, And the wine has foamed, It is full of mixture, and He pours out of it, Surely wring out its dregs, And all the wicked of the earth drink,
9 Fa izaho hanambara izany mandrakizay, ka hankalaza an’ Andriamanitr’ i Jakoba.
And I declare [it] for all time, I sing praise to the God of Jacob.
10 Ary ny tandroky ny ratsy fanahy rehetra hotapahiko; fa ny tandroky ny marina kosa no hasandratra.
And I cut off all horns of the wicked, The horns of the righteous are exalted!
