Salamo 73
1 Salamo nataon’ i Asafa.
A PSALM OF ASAPH. Surely God [is] good to Israel, to the clean of heart. And I—as a little thing, My feet have been turned aside,
2 Fa izaho, dia saiky nibolasitra ny tongotro; saiky solafaka ny diako,
As nothing, my steps have slipped, For I have been envious of the boastful,
3 Satria nialona ny mpirehareha aho, raha nahita ny fiadanan’ ny ratsy fanahy.
I see the peace of the wicked, That there are no bands at their death,
4 Fa tsy misy fanaintainana amin’ ny fahafatesany, ary fatratra ny heriny.
And their might [is] firm.
5 Tsy mba misy manavesatra azy, tahaka ny olona sasany, ary tsy mba azom-pahoriana tahaka ny olon-kafa izy.
They are not in the misery of mortals, And they are not plagued with common men.
6 Dia izany no iambozonany rehareha toy ny rojo, sy itafiany fahalozàna tahaka ny lamba.
Therefore pride has encircled them, Violence covers them as a dress.
7 Bongon-tavy ny masony; miloatra ny hevitry ny fony.
Their eye has come out from fat. The imaginations of the heart transgressed;
8 Manazimbazimba izy ka miresaka fampahoriana an-dolom-po; avo vava izy.
They do corruptly, And they speak in the wickedness of oppression, They speak from on high.
9 Manao vava manakatra ny lanitra izy, ary ny lelany mandeha mitety ny tany.
They have set their mouth in the heavens, And their tongue walks in the earth.
10 Izany no itodihan’ ny olony hankany aminy; ary rano be no gohin’ ireny;
Therefore His people return here, And waters of fullness are wrung out to them.
11 Ka hoy izy: Hataon’ Andriamanitra ahoana no fahalala? ary manam-pahalalana va ny Avo Indrindra?
And they have said, “How has God known? And is there knowledge in the Most High?”
12 Indro, ireny dia olona ratsy fanahy; miadana mandrakariva izy ka mitombo harena.
Behold, these [are] the wicked and easy ones of the age, They have increased strength.
13 Foana mihitsy ny nanadiovako ny foko sy ny nanasàko ny tanako tamin’ ny fahamarinana.
Only—a vain thing! I have purified my heart, And I wash my hands in innocence,
14 Azom-pahoriana mandritra ny andro aho, ary faizana isa-maraina.
And I am plagued all the day, And my reproof—every morning.
15 Raha tahìny aho nanao hoe: Hiteny izany aho, dia ho namitaka ireo zanakao.
If I have said, “I recount thus,” Behold, I have deceived a generation of Your sons.
16 Dia nieritreritra ta-hahalala izany zavatra izany aho, kanjo sarotra teo imasoko izany.
And I think to know this, It [is] perverseness in my eyes,
17 Mandra-piditro tao amin’ ny fitoera-masin’ Andriamanitra ka nihevitra izay ho farany.
Until I come into the sanctuaries of God, I attend to their latter end.
18 Eo amin’ izay mahasolafaka tokoa no ametrahanao azy, ary aripakao ho ringana izy.
Surely You set them in slippery places, You have caused them to fall to desolations.
19 Hià! rava indray mipi-maso izy! levona izy, matin-java-mahatahotra izy!
How they have become a desolation as in a moment, They have been ended—consumed from terrors.
20 Tahaka ny anaovan’ ny olona ny nofiny ho tsinontsinona, dia tahaka izany, Tompo ô, no anaovanao ny endrik’ ireny ho tsinontsinona, raha mifoha Hianao.
As a dream from awakening, O Lord, In awaking, You despise their image.
21 Raha lotika ny foko, ka voatsindrona ny voako,
For my heart shows itself violent, And my reins prick themselves,
22 Dia ketrina aho ka tsy nahalala; eny, biby teo anatrehanao aho.
And I am brutish, and do not know. I have been a beast with You.
23 Nefa izaho dia eo aminao ihany mandrakariva, mihazona ny tanako ankavanana Hianao.
And I [am] continually with You, You have laid hold on my right hand.
24 Ny saina omenao no hitondranao ahy, ary rehefa afaka izany, dia horaisinao ho amin’ ny voninahitra aho.
You lead me with Your counsel, And after, receive me [to] glory.
25 Iza no ahy any an-danitra? ary tsy misy etỳ ambonin’ ny tany iriko tahaka Anao.
Whom do I have in the heavens? And none have I desired in earth [besides] You.
26 Na dia levona aza ny nofoko sy ny foko, dia mbola vatolampin’ ny foko sy anjarako mandrakizay Andriamanitra.
My flesh and my heart have been consumed, God [is] the rock of my heart and my portion for all time.
27 Fa, indro, very izay lavitra Anao; aringanao izay rehetra mijangajanga mahafoy Anao.
For behold, those far from You perish, You have cut off everyone, Who is going whoring from You.
28 Fa, izaho, dia ny ho akaikin’ Andriamanitra no mahatsara ahy; Hianao, Jehovah Tompo ô, no nataoko aroko, mba hilaza ny asanao rehetra aho.
And [the] nearness of God to me [is] good, I have placed my refuge in Lord YHWH, To recount all Your works!
