Salamo 69
1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Al-shoshanim. Nataon’ i Davida. Vonjeo aho, Andriamanitra ô; fa efa mihatra amin’ ny aiko ny rano.
“To the chief musician upon Shoshannim, by David.” Save me, O God; for the waters are come even to threaten my life.
2 Milentika amin’ ny fotaka mandrevo aho, ka tsy misy hifaharana; efa miditra amin’ ny rano lalina aho, ka mandifotra ahy ny riaka.
I am sunk in the mire of the deep, where there is no standing; I am come into the depths of the waters, and the flood overfloweth me.
3 Sasatry ny mitaraina aho, maimay ny tendako; pahina ny masoko, raha miandry an’ Andriamanitro aho.
I am weary of my calling; my throat is hoarse; my eyes fail, while I hope for my God.
4 Maro noho ny volon-dohako ny isan’ izay mankahala ahy tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana; mahery izay ta-hahafaty ahy, dia ny fahavaloko tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana; mampanonitra ahy izay tsy nalaiko izy.
More than the hairs of my head are those that hate me without a cause; numerous are those that would destroy me, that are my enemies wrongfully: what I have not robbed shall I now restore.
5 Andriamanitra ô, Hianao mahalala ny hadalako; ary ny heloko tsy mba miafina aminao.
O God, thou art well aware of my folly, and my guilty deeds are from thee not hidden.
6 Aoka tsy ho menatra noho ny amiko izay miandry Anao, Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro ô; aoka tsy ho very hevitra noho ny amiko izay mitady Anao, ry Andriamanitry ny Isiraely ô.
Let not those that wait on thee, O Lord Eternal of hosts, be made ashamed through me: let not those that seek thee be confounded through me, O God of Israel.
7 Fa noho ny aminao no itondrako latsa; safotry ny henatra ny tavako.
Because for thy sake have I borne reproach, hath confusion covered my face.
8 Efa vahiny amin’ ny rahalahiko aho; eny, efa olon-ko azy amin’ ny zanak’ ineny aho.
A stranger am I become unto my brothers, and an alien unto my mother's children.
9 Fa ny firehetako ny amin’ ny tranonao no naharitra aina ahy; ary ny latsa nataon’ izay nandatsa Anao dia nihatra tamiko.
Because the zeal for thy house hath devoured me; and the reproaches of those that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
10 Nitomany sady nifady hanina aho, dia natao latsa ho ahy izany.
When I wept at the fasting of my soul, it became a reproach to me.
11 Lamba fisaonana no nataoko fitafiako, dia efa ambentinteny tamin’ ireny aho.
And when I made sackcloth my garment, I became a proverb to them.
12 Miresaka ahy izay mipetraka eo am-bavahady; ary ataon’ ny mpisotro toaka an-kira aho.
Those that sit in the gate talk against me; and [about me make] songs the drinkers of strong drink.
13 Fa izaho hivavaka aminao amin’ ny andro fankasitrahana, Jehovah ô, dia aminao, Andriamanitra ô noho ny haben’ ny famindram-ponao; valio aho araka ny hamarinan’ ny famonjenao.
But as for me, I direct my prayer unto thee, O Lord, in a time of favor; O God, in the multitude of thy kindness: answer me in the truth of thy salvation.
14 Afaho amin’ ny fotaka aho, ka aza avela hilentika; vonjeo aho amin’ izay mankahala ahy sy amin’ ny rano lalina.
Deliver me out of the mire, that I may not sink: let me be delivered from those that hate me, and out of the depths of the waters.
15 Aza avela hanafotra ahy ny rano mandriaka, na hitelina ahy ny lalina; ary aza avela hikatom-bava amiko ny lavaka fantsakana.
Let not the flood of waters overflow me, and let not the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit close its mouth upon me.
16 Valio aho, Jehovah ô, fa tsara ny famindram-ponao; todiho aho araka ny haben’ ny fiantranao.
Answer me, O Lord; for thy kindness is good: according to the multitude of thy mercies turn thou unto me.
17 Ary aza manafina ny tavanao amin’ ny mpanomponao; fa azom-pahoriana aho, koa faingàna hamaly ahy Hianao.
And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in distress: make haste and answer me.
18 Hatony ny fanahiko, avoty izy; Eny, vonjeo aho noho ny ataon’ ny fahavaloko.
Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: because of my enemies do thou ransom me.
19 Hianao no mahalala ny latsa mihatra amiko ary ny fahamenarako sy ny fahafaham-boninahitro; Eo anatrehanao ny mpandrafy ahy rehetra.
Thou well knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my confusion: before thee are all my assailants.
20 Ny latsa dia nanorotoro ny foko ka reraka indrindra aho; ary niandry antra aho, fa tsy nisy, sy mpanony fa tsy nahita.
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am sick; and I waited for pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
21 Fa zava-mangidy no nomeny ho haniko; ary vinaingitra no natolony ahy hosotroina, raha nangetaheta aho.
And they put into my food gall; and in my thirst they give me vinegar to drink.
22 Aoka ho fandrika ho azy ny latabany eo anoloany; eny, ho tonta ho an’ ny tsy manana ahiahy.
May [then] their table become a snare before them: and to those that are at peace, a trap.
23 Aoka ho jamba ny masony mba tsy hahita; ary ampangozohozoy mandrakariva ny valahany.
May their eyes become dark, that they cannot see; and make their loins continually to waver.
24 Aidino aminy ny fahatezeranao; ary aoka hahatratra azy ny firehetan’ ny fahaviniranao.
Pour out over them thy indignation, and let the heat of thy anger overtake them.
25 Aoka ho foana ny tobiny; aza avela hisy hitoetra ao an-dainy.
May their palace become desolate: in their tents let no one dwell.
26 Fa izay nasianao no nenjehiny; Ary ny fahararian’ ny voatsindronao dia lazalazainy.
For whom thou hast smitten they persecute; and of the pain of those whom thou but wounded do they converse.
27 Aoka hiampy ny helony; ary aoka tsy hiditra amin’ ny fahamarinanao izy.
Lay guilt upon their guilt; and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28 Aoka hovonoina tsy ho eo amin’ ny bokin’ ny velona ny anarany, ary aoka tsy hosoratana eo amin’ ny marina.
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; and with the righteous let them not be written down.
29 Fa izaho dia ory sy mahantra, Andriamanitra ô; aoka ny famonjenao no hanandratra ahy.
But I am poor and suffering: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
30 Hankalaza ny anaran’ Andriamanitra amin’ ny fihirana aho, ary hidera Azy amin’ ny fisaorana.
I will praise the name of God with song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31 Fa ho sitrak’ i Jehovah Izany mihoatra noho ny vantotr’ ombilahy, izay manan-tandroka sady mivaky kitro.
And this will please the Lord better than an ox or bullock having horns and cloven hoofs.
32 Hahita izany ny mpandefitra ka ho faly; aoka ho velona ny fonareo, ry mpitady an’ Andriamanitra.
The meek will see this, and be rejoiced: ye that seek God, and your heart shall revive.
33 Fa mihaino ny malahelo Jehovah, ary ny olony mifatotra tsy mba hamavoiny.
For the Lord listeneth unto the needy, and his prisoners he despiseth not.
34 Aoka hidera Azy ny lanitra sy ny tany, ny ranomasina sy izay rehetra mihetsika ao aminy.
Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
35 Fa Andriamanitra hamonjy an’ i Ziona sady hanangana ny tanànan’ ny Joda; ary hitoetra ao ny olony ka ho tompony;
For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may abide there, and have it in possession:
36 Dia handova azy ny taranaky ny mpanompony; ary hitoetra ao izay tia ny anarany.
And the seed of his servants shall inherit it; and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
