< Salamo 68 >
1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Salamo nataon’ i Davida. Tonon-kira. Aoka hitsangana Andriamanitra, ka hiely ny fahavalony; ary aoka izay mankahala Azy handositra ny tavany.
“To the chief musician, by David, a Psalm or song.” Oh that God would arise, that his enemies might be scattered, and those that hate him might flee before him.
2 Tahaka ny fanely setroka no fanelinao azy; tahaka ny fiempon’ ny savoka eo anoloan’ ny afo no aoka hahalevonan’ ny ratsy fanahy eo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra.
As smoke is driven off, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 Fa ny marina mifaly; eny, ravoravo eo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra izy ka faly tokoa.
But the righteous shall rejoice; they shall exult before God: yea, they shall be exceedingly joyful.
4 Mihirà ho an’ Andriamanitra, mankalazà ny anarany; manamboara lalana ho an’ izay mitaingina mamaky ny efitra Jehovah no anarany ary mifalia eo anatrehany.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name; extol him who rideth upon the heavens: the Everlasting is his name, and rejoice before him.
5 Rain’ ny kamboty sy Mpanome rariny ny mpitondratena Andriamanitra, ao amin’ ny fonenany masìna.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 Andriamanitra mampitoetra an-trano izay irery tena; mamoaka ny mpifatotra ho amin’ ny fanambinana Izy; fa ny maditra hitoetra amin’ ny tany karankaina.
God places those who are solitary in the midst of their families: he bringeth out those who are bound unto happiness; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
7 Andriamanitra ô, raha nandeha teo alohan’ ny olonao Hianao ka namaky ny efitra, (Sela)
O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst tread along through the wilderness—Selah—
8 Dia nihorohoro ny tany, ary nitaitaika ny lanitra, tamin’ ny fanatrehan’ Andriamanitra, na iry Sinay iry aza tamin’ ny fanatrehan’ Andriamanitra, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely.
The earth quaked, also the heavens dropped at the presence of God, yea, this Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Ranonoram-pitahiana no nalatsakao tamin’ ny lovanao, Andriamanitra ô; ary raha kotra izy, dia novelombelominao.
Rain of beneficence didst thou pour down, O God, whereby thou didst truly strengthen thy heritage, when it was weary.
10 Ny olonao tamàn-toerana teo; mamboatra ho an’ ny ory araka ny fahasoavanao Hianao, Andriamanitra ô.
Thy assembly dwelt therein: thou didst prepare it with thy goodness for the afflicted [people]. O God,
11 Ny Tompo manome ny teny; ary ny vehivavy mpilaza soa dia antokony lehibe.
The Lord gave [happy] tidings; they are published by the female messengers, a numerous host.
12 Ireo mpanjaka be miaramila dia vaky mandositra; ary ny vehivavy izay mitoetra ao an-trano no mizara ny babo.
The kings of the armies flee away—flee away: yet she that tarried at home divideth the spoil.
13 Raha mandry eo amin’ ny vala ianareo, dia ho tahaka ny ela-boromailala miravaka volafotsy, ary ny volony miravaka volamena tsara
When ye lie still between the folds [of your cattle], [ye will be like] the wings of the dove covered with sliver, and her pinions shining with flaming gold.
14 Raha aelin’ ny Tsitoha eo ny mpanjaka maro, dia latsaka ny oram-panala ao Zalmona.
When the Almighty scattered kings in the midst of her, then even in darkness shone light [as pure] as snow.
15 Tendrombohitr’ Andriamanitra ny tendrombohitr’ i Basana. Tendrombohitra maro tampona ny tendrombohitr’ i Basana.
A mountain of God is the mount of Bashan; many peaks hath the mount of Bashan.
16 Ry tendrombohitra maro tampona, nahoana ianareo no mihendry ny tendrombohitra izay tian’ Andriamanitra hitoerany? eny, hitoetra ao mandrakizay Jehovah.
Why watch ye enviously, ye many-peaked mountains, yonder mountain which God hath chosen for his residence? yea, the Lord will also dwell [there] for ever.
17 Ny kalesin’ Andriamanitra dia roa alina, eny, arivo arivo; ny Tompo no eo aminy; Sinay dia eo amin’ ny itoerana masìna.
The chariots of God are two myriads; thousands of angels [follow him]: the Lord is among them: so is Sinai holy [among mountains].
18 Efa niakatra ho any amin’ ny avo Hianao ka mitondra babo; efa nandray fanomezana teo amin’ ny olombelona Hianao ― eny, teo amin’ ny maditra aza, ― mba hitoeran’ i Jehovah Andriamanitra any.
Thou didst ascend on high, lead away captives, receive gifts among men, yea, even the rebellious, to dwell among them. O Lord God.
19 Isaorana anie ny Tompo Izay mitondra ny entan-tsika isan’ andro isan’ andro, eny, Andriamanitra Izay famonjena antsika. (Sela)
Blessed be the Lord; day by day he loadeth us [with benefits]; our God is our salvation. (Selah)
20 Andriamanitra no Andriamanitry ny famonjena ho antsika; ary an’ i Jehovah Tompo ny fanafahana amin’ ny fahafatesana.
Our God is to us the God of salvation: and by the Eternal the Lord are the escapes from death.
21 Fa Andriamanitra mamely mafy ny lohan’ ny fahavalony, dia ny tampon-doha lava volo an’ izay mandroso amin’ ny fahadisoany.
But God will crush the head of his enemies, the hairy skull of him who walketh in his guiltiness.
22 Lazain’ ny Tompo hoe: hampody ny any Basana Aho; hampody ny amin’ ny ranomasina lalina Aho,
The Lord hath said, From Bashan will I bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
23 Mba hampihosenanao rà ny tongotrao, ary ho anjaran’ ny lelan’ ny amboanao ny fahavalo.
In order that thou mayest wade with thy feet in blood, feeding the tongue of thy dogs from the enemies' blood.
24 Efa hita ny fandehananao, Andriamanitra ô, dia ny fandehanan’ Andriamanitro, Mpanjakako, ao amin’ ny fitoerana masìna.
Men see thy goings forth, O God! the goings forth of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
25 Mialoha ny mpihira, ary manaraka ny mpitendry valiha, eo afovoan’ ny zatovovavy mively ampongatapaka.
First come singers, then follow players on instruments, in the midst of maidens playing on timbrels.
26 Misaora an’ Andriamanitra eo amin’ ny fiangonana, eny, misaora ny Tompo, ianareo ary amin’ ny loharanon’ ny Isiraely.
In assemblies bless ye God, [praise] the Lord, ye sprung from Israel's fountain.
27 Indry Benjamina kely, mpanapaka azy, ny antokon’ ny mpanapaka ny Joda, ny mpanapaka ny Zebolona sy ny mpanapaka ny Naftaly.
There Benjamin the youngest leadeth them on, the princes of Judah in purple robes, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28 Andriamanitrao no nampahery anao; Ry Andriamanitra Izay miasa ho anay ô, asehoy ny herinao.
Thy God hath ordained the rule to thee: strengthen, O God, what thou hast wrought for us.
29 Noho ny tempolinao eo an-tampon’ i Jerosalema, no hitondran’ ny mpanjaka maro fanatitra ho Anao.
Because of thy temple over Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
30 Teneno mafy ny biby eny anaty zozoro sy ny fivorian’ ny ombilahy mbamin’ ireo vahoaka zanak’ omby, dia izay miankohoka manatitra anja-bolafotsy aelezo ny olona tia ady
Rebuke the wild beasts hiding among the reeds, the troops of steers among the calves of nations, that hasten along with presents of silver. He scattereth nations that are eager for the fight.
31 Ho avy ny tremalahin’ i Egypta; Etiopia halaky hananty tanana amin’ Andriamanitra.
Nobles will come out of Egypt: Ethiopia will stretch forth eagerly her hands unto God.
32 Ry fanjakana ambonin’ ny tany, mihirà ho an’ Andriamanitra; mankalazà ny Tompo, (Sela)
Kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing praises unto the Lord: (Selah)
33 Ilay mitaingina ny lanitry ny lanitra izay hatry ny fahagola; Indro, mamoaka ny feony Izy, dia feo mahery.
To him who rideth over the highest heavens, of ancient days: hear! he sendeth forth his voice, the voice of might.
34 Ekeo ho an’ Andriamanitra ny hery; ambonin’ ny Isiraely ny voninahiny, ary ny heriny any amin’ ny lanitra.
Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.
35 Mahatahotra Hianao, Andriamanitra ô, ao amin’ ny fitoeranao masìna; Andriamanitry ny Isiraely no manome hery sy tanjaka ho an’ ny olona. Isaorana anie Andriamanitra.
Thou art tremendous, O God, from thy holy residences: O God of Israel, [thou art] he that givest strength and power unto [thy] people. Blessed be God.
