< Salamo 64 >

1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Salamo nataon’ i Davida. Henoy ny feoko, raha mitaraina aho, Andriamanitra ô; arovy ny aiko amin’ ny tahotro ny fahavalo.
“To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint: preserve my life from the dread of the enemy.
2 Afeno aho tsy ho azon’ ny firaisan-tetiky ny ratsy fanahy, sy ny fitabataban’ ny mpanao ratsy,
Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, from the tumultuous assault of the workers of wickedness;
3 Izay mandranitra ny lelany ho tahaka ny sabatra, ka mikendry handefa ny zana-tsipìkany, dia teny mangidy.
Who whet their tongue like a sword, who aim with their arrow, the bitter word:
4 Mba hitifitra mangingina ny mahitsy; mitifitra azy tampoka izy ka tsy matahotra.
To shoot in secret at the innocent; suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 Hamafiny ny hevi-dratsiny; mifampitaona hanao fandri-totofana izy ka manao hoe: iza no hahita izany?
They encourage themselves in an evil plan; they tell secretly of laying snares: they say, Who will see them?
6 Manao saim-petsy izy; omaniny tsara ny sain-dalina voaheviny; lalina ny ao anatin’ ny olombelona, dia ny fony.
They search out iniquities; “We are ready with the carefully searched out device:” and the inward thought and heart of each is deeply [hidden].
7 Mitifitra azy Andriamanitra; tampoka toy ny fiantefan’ ny zana-tsipìka no fahavoazany.
But God shooteth at them suddenly [his] arrow; —[thence] are come their wounds.
8 Apotrany izy ka voasingotra ny lelany ihany; mandositra izay rehetra mahita azy.
And their own tongues will stumble over themselves: all that look on them will shake their head.
9 Dia matahotra ny olona rehetra ka manambara ny ataon’ Andriamanitra sady mandinika tsara ny asany.
All men shall fear, and shall declare the deeds of God, and understand his works.
10 Mifaly amin’ i Jehovah ny marina ka mialoka aminy; eny, mifaly tena ny mahitsy fo rehetra.
The righteous shall rejoice in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glorify themselves.
