< Salamo 61 >

1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Hampiarahina amin’ ny valiha. Nataon’ i Davida. Henoy ny fitarainako, Andriamanitra ô; tandremo ny fivavako.
To the Chief Musician. Upon a Stringed Instrument. David’s. Hear, O God, my loud cry, Attend unto my prayer:
2 Any am-paran’ ny tany no hiantsoako Anao raha reraka ny foko; ento aho ho any amin’ ny vatolampy izay avo ka tsy tratro;
From the end of the earth, unto thee do I cry, When my heart fainteth away, Unto a rock that is higher than I, wilt thou lead me.
3 Fa aroko Hianao sy tilikambo mafy handosirako ny fahavalo.
For thou hast been, A Refuge to me, A Tower of Strength, from the face of the foe.
4 Aoka hitoetra ao an-tranonao mandrakizay aho; aoka hialoka ao ambanin’ ny fanomban’ ny elatrao aho,
I would be a guest in thy tent to the ages, I would seek refuge in the concealment of thy wings. (Selah)
5 Fa Hianao, Andriamanitra ô efa nandre ny voadiko; efa nomenao ahy ny lovan’ izay matahotra ny anaranao.
For, thou, O God, hast hearkened to my vows, Thou hast granted a possession, unto them who revere thy Name.
6 Halavao ny andron’ ny mpanjaka; aoka ny taonany hahatratra ny taranaka maro.
Days—unto the days of the king, wilt thou add. His years, as of generation after generation:
7 Aoka hitoetra eo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra mandrakizay izy; famindram-po sy fahamarinana no tendreo hiaro azy;
Let him retain his seat age-abidingly before God, Appoint that, lovingkindness and faithfulness, my watch over him!
8 Ka dia izany no hankalazako ny anaranao mandrakizay, mba hanefako isan’ andro ny voadiko.
So, will I sing thy Name unto futurity, Paying my vows, day by day.
