Salamo 60
1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira Al-sho-shanedoth. Miktama nataon’ i Davida hampianarana, fony izy nanafika an’ i Mesopotamia sy Arama-zoba tamin’ ny niverenan’ i Joaba ka namelezany ny Edomita roa arivo amby iray alin-dahy teo amin’ ny lohasahan-tsira. Andriamanitra ô, efa nanary sy nampihahaka anay Hianao; efa tezitra Hianao, velombelomy izahay.

2 Efa nampihorohoro ny tany Hianao ka namaky azy; amboary izay rava aminy, fa mihozongozona izy.

3 Efa nampahita ny olonao zava-tsarotra Hianao, ary efa nampisotro anay divay mampiraikiraiky.
Thou hast shewed thy people heauy things: thou hast made vs to drinke the wine of giddines.
4 Efa notoloranao faneva ny matahotra Anao, hatsangany noho ny fahamarinana. (Sela)
But now thou hast giuen a banner to them that feare thee, that it may be displayed because of thy trueth. (Selah)
5 Mba hahafahan’ ny malalanao, dia vonjeo amin’ ny tananao ankavanana aho, ka valio.
That thy beloued may be deliuered, helpe with thy right hand and heare me.
6 Andriamanitra niteny tamin’ ny fahamasinany hoe: hifaly Aho ka hizara an’ i Sekema; ary ny lohasahan’ i Sokota horefesiko;
God hath spoken in his holines: therefore I will reioyce: I shall deuide Shechem, and measure the valley of Succoth.
7 Ahy Gileada, Ahy koa Manase; ary aron’ ny lohako Efraima tehim-panjakako Joda;
Gilead shalbe mine, and Manasseh shalbe mine: Ephraim also shalbe the strength of mine head: Iudah is my lawgiuer.
8 Tavin-dranoko fanasana Moaba; Edoma no anipazako ny kapako; mihobia noho ny amiko, ry Filistia.
Moab shalbe my wash pot: ouer Edom will I cast out my shoe: Palestina shew thy selfe ioyfull for me.
9 Iza no hitondra ahy ho any an-tanàna mafy? iza no hitarika ahy ho any Edoma?
Who will leade me into the strong citie? who will bring me vnto Edom?
10 Tsy Hianao va, Izay efa nanary anay, Andriamanitra ô. Sady tsy nivoaka niaraka tamin’ ny antokon’ ny miaramilanay, Andriamanitra ô?
Wilt not thou, O God, which hadest cast vs off, and didest not go forth, O God, with our armies?
11 Vonjeo amin’ ny mpandrafy izahay; fa zava-poana ny famonjena ataon’ ny olona.
Giue vs helpe against trouble: for vaine is the helpe of man.
12 Andriamanitra no haherezantsika; fa Izy no hanitsakitsaka ny fahavalontsika.
Through God we shall doe valiantly: for he shall tread downe our enemies.
