1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Nataon’ ny Koraïta; At-alamoth; Tonon-kira. Andriamanitra no aro sy hery ho antsika; Mpamonjy mora azo indrindra amin’ ny fahoriana Izy.
TO THE OVERSEER. BY SONS OF KORAH. FOR GIRLS’ [VOICES]. A SONG. God [is] our refuge and strength, A most sure help in adversities.
2 Koa izany no tsy hatahorantsika, na dia ho levona aza ny tany, na mifindra ho ao anatin’ ny ranomasina aza ny tendrombohitra,
Therefore we do not fear in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.
3 Na mirohondrohona sy misamboaravoara aza ny onjany, ka mihorohoro ny tendrombohitra noho ny fisafoakany. (Sela)
Roar—troubled are its waters, Mountains shake in its pride. (Selah)
4 Misy ony, koa ny sampany dia mampifaly ny tanànan’ Andriamanitra, Fonena-masin’ ny Avo Indrindra.
A river—its streams make glad the city of God, Your holy place of the dwelling places of the Most High.
5 Andriamanitra no eo afovoany, ka tsy mba hihetsika izy; Andriamanitra no hamonjy azy, rehefa madiva ho maraina ny andro.
God [is] in her midst—she is not moved, God helps her at the turn of the morning!
6 Nitabataba ny firenen-tsamy hafa, nikotrankotrana ny fanjakana maro; nanonona ny feony Izy, ka niempo ny tany.
Nations have been troubled, Kingdoms have been moved, He has given forth with His voice—earth melts.
7 Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, no momba antsika; Andriamanitr’ i Jakoba no fiarovana avo ho antsika. (Sela)
YHWH of Hosts [is] with us, The God of Jacob [is] a tower for us. (Selah)
8 Avia, jereo ny asan’ i Jehovah, izay mahatonga faharavana etỳ an-tany;
Come, see the works of YHWH, Who has done astonishing things in the earth,
9 Mampitsahatra ady hatramin’ ny faran’ ny tany Izy; manapaka ny tsipìka sy manito ny lefona Izy, ary mandoro ny sariety amin’ ny afo.
Causing wars to cease, To the end of the earth, He shatters the bow, And He has cut apart the spear, He burns chariots with fire.
10 Mitsahara, ka aoka ho fantatrareo fa Izaho no Andriamanitra; hisandratra amin’ ny firenen-tsamy hafa Aho, hisandratra amin’ ny tany Aho.
Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.
11 Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, no momba antsika; Andriamanitr’ i Jakoba no aro ho antsika. (Sela)
YHWH of hosts [is] with us, The God of Jacob [is] a tower for us! (Selah)
