Salamo 36
1 Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Nataon’ i Davida, mpanompon’ i Jehovah. Ny ota milaza ato am-poko ny amin’ ny ratsy fanahy hoe: tsy misy fahatahorana an’ Andriamanitra ao aminy.
`To victorie, to Dauid, `the seruaunt of the Lord. The vniust man seide, that he trespasse in hym silf; the drede of God is not bifor hise iyen.
2 Fa miarahaba tena izy ny amin’ ny tsy hahitana ny helony ka hankahalana azy.
For he dide gilefuli in the siyt of God; that his wickidnesse be foundun to hatrede.
3 Ny tenin’ ny vavany dia faharatsiana sy fitaka; efa nihadala izy ka nitsahatra tsy hanao soa.
The wordis of his mouth ben wickidnesse and gile, he nolde vndirstonde to do wel.
4 Faharatsiana no saintsaininy eo am-pandriany; mitsangana eo amin’ ny lalana tsy mety izy; ny ratsy tsy mba laviny akory.
He thouyte wickidnesse in his bed, he stood nyy al weie not good; forsothe he hatide not malice.
5 Jehovah ô, mipaka amin’ ny lanitra ny famindram-ponao; mihatra amin’ ny rahona ny fahamarinanao.
Lord, thi merci is in heuene; and thi treuthe is `til to cloudis.
6 Ny fahamarinanao dia tahaka ny tendrombohitra avo dia avo; ny fitsaranao dia toy ny lalina indrindra; ny olona sy ny biby dia samy vonjenao, Jehovah ô,
Thi riytfulnesse is as the hillis of God; thi domes ben myche depthe of watris. Lord, thou schalt saue men and beestis;
7 Endrey ny hatsaran’ ny famindram-ponao, Andriamanitra ô! ka mialoka eo amin’ ny aloky ny elatrao ny zanak’ olombelona.
as thou, God, hast multiplied thi merci. But the sones of men; schulen hope in the hilyng of thi wyngis.
8 Voky ny matavy ao an-tranonao izy; ary ny ony fampifalianao no ampisotroanao azy.
Thei schulen be fillid gretli of the plentee of thin hows; and thou schalt yyue drynke to hem with the steef streem of thi likyng.
9 Fa ao aminao no misy loharanon’ aina; ny fahazavanao no hahitanay fahazavana.
For the wel of life is at thee; and in thi liyt we schulen se liyt.
10 Ampahareto amin’ izay mahalala Anao ny famindram-ponao, ary ny fahamarinanao amin’ ny mahitsy fo.
Lord, sette forth thi mercy to hem, that knowen thee; and thi ryytfulnesse to hem that ben of riytful herte.
11 Aoka tsy hanitsaka ahy ny tongotry ny mpiavonavona, na hampandositra ahy ny tanan’ ny ratsy fanahy.
The foot of pryde come not to me; and the hond of the synnere moue me not.
12 Indreo! efa lavo ny mpanao ratsy; naripaka izy ka tsy maharina.
There thei felden doun, that worchen wickidnesse; thei ben cast out, and myyten not stonde.
