< Salamo 35 >

1 Nataon’ i Davida.
[A Psalm] of David. Plead [my cause], O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
2 Raiso ny ampinga kely sy ny ampinga lehibe ka mitsangàna hamonjy ahy.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.
3 Ary raiso ny lefona, ka sakano izay manenjika ahy; lazao amin’ ny fanahiko hoe: Famonjena anao Aho.
Draw out also the spear, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I [am] thy salvation.
4 Aoka ho menatra sy ho afa-baraka izay mitady ny aiko; aoka hiamboho sy hangaihay izay misaina hanisy ratsy ahy.
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
5 Aoka ho tahaka ny akofa eo alohan’ ny rivotra izy. Ary aoka ny Anjelin’ i Jehovah handroaka azy.
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase [them].
6 Aoka ho maizina sy malama ny lalany, ary aoka ny Anjelin’ i Jehovah hanenjika azy.
Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
7 Fa tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana no nanaovany fandri-totofana hahazoany ahy; tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana no nandavahany hamandrihany ny aiko.
For without cause they have hid for me their net [in] a pit, [which] without cause they have digged for my soul.
8 Aoka ny fandringanana ho tonga tampoka aminy; ary aoka hahazo azy ny fandrika harato nafeniny, ka ho latsaka ao amin’ izany fandringanana izany indrindra izy.
Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
9 Fa ny fanahiko kosa hifaly amin’ i Jehovah sy ho ravoravo amin’ ny famonjeny.
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
10 Ny taolako rehetra hanao hoe: Jehovah ô, iza no tahaka Anao, Izay manafaka ny ory amin’ izay tsy tohany, eny, ny ory sy ny malahelo amin’ izay mamabo azy?
All my bones shall say, LORD, who [is] like thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, even the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
11 Mitsangana ny vavolombelona mampidi-doza; ka izay tsy fantatro no anadinany ahy.
False witnesses arose; they laid to my charge [things] that I knew not.
12 Mamaly ratsy ahy ho solon’ ny soa izy, ka mamoy malala ny fanahiko.
They rewarded me evil for good [to] the spoiling of my soul.
13 Ary ny amiko, raha narary izy ireo, dia lamba fisaonana no nitafiako; nampahory ny tenako tamin’ ny ny fifadian-kanina aho; ary ny fivavako nody tao an-tratrako.
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.
14 Toy ny nisy nanjo ny sakaizako na ny rahalahiko no nandehanako; nitanondrika tamin’ alahelo toy ny fisaona reny aho.
I behaved myself as though [he had been] my friend [or] brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth [for his] mother.
15 Nefa nony ho lavo kosa aho, dia faly izy ireo ka niangona; olona faraidina no nitangorona hamely ahy, nefa tsy fantatro; namiravira izy ka tsy mba nitsahatra;
But in my adversity they rejoiced, and assembled themselves: [yes], the abjects assembled themselves against me, and I knew [it] not; they did tear [me], and ceased not:
16 Naman’ ny olon-dratsy manendrikendrika ho enti-mila sitraka izy ka nihidy vazana tamiko.
With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
17 Ry Tompo ô, mandra-pahoviana no hijerenao? Avereno ny fanahiko ho afaka amin’ ny fandringanany, ny hany malalako ho afaka amin’ ny liona tanora.
LORD, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
18 Hisaotra Anao eo amin’ ny fiangonana lehibe aho; hidera Anao eo afovoan’ ny olona maro aho.
I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among many people.
19 Aoka tsy hifalian’ izay mandrafy ahy foana aho; ary aoka tsy hami-maso izay mankahala ahy tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana.
Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: [neither] let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
20 Fa tsy fihavanana no lazainy; fa mamorom-pitaka izy hamelezany izay mibonaika ambonin’ ny tany.
For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against [them that are] quiet in the land.
21 Dia mitanatana vava amiko izy ka manao hoe: Hià! sakoa izay! efa hita’ ny masonay.
Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me, [and] said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen [it].
22 Efa hitanao, Jehovah ô, ka aza manentsin-tadiny; ry Tompo ô, aza manalavitra ahy.
[This] thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O LORD, be not far from me.
23 Mahatsiarova, ka mifohaza ho amin’ ny fitsaràna ahy, O Andriamanitro sy Tompoko! mifohaza ho amin’ ny adiko.
Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, [even] to my cause, my God and my LORD.
24 Tsarao aho, Jehovah Andriamanitro ô, araka ny fahamarinanao; ary aoka tsy hifalian’ ireo aho.
Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
25 Aoka tsy hanao anakampo hoe izy: Hià! faly izahay! aoka tsy hanao hoe izy: efa natelinay izy.
Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
26 Aoka ho menatra sy hangaihay avokoa izay mifaly amin’ ny manjo ahy; aoka hitafy henatra sy fahafaham-baraka izay mirehareha amiko.
Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at my hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify [themselves] against me.
27 Aoka hihoby sy hifaly izay mankasitraka ny fahamarinako; ary aoka izy hanao mandrakariva hoe: hankalazaina anie Jehovah, Izay mankasitraka ny fiadanan’ ny mpanompony.
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, who hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
28 Ary ny lelako hilaza ny fahamarinanao; ny fiderana Anao no hataoko mandrakariva.
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.
