Salamo 29

1 Salamo nataon’ i Davida.

A Psalme of David. Give vnto the Lord, ye sonnes of the mightie: giue vnto the Lord glorie and strength.

2 Omeo an’ i Jehovah ny voninahitry ny anarany; miankohofa eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah amin’ ny fihaingoana masìna.

Giue vnto the Lord glorie due vnto his Name: worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.

3 Ny feon’ i Jehovah no eny ambonin’ ny rano be; Andriamanitry ny voninahitra no mampikotrokorana; Jehovah no eny ambonin’ ny rano be.

The voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters.

4 Ny feon’ i Jehovah be hery; Ny feon’ i Jehovah be voninahitra.

The voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious.

5 Ny feon’ i Jehovah manorotoro ny hazo sedera; eny, Jehovah manorotoro ny hazo sedera any Libanona.

The voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6 Dia mampitsambikina azy tahaka ny zanak’ omby Izy, Libanona sy Siriona dia tahaka ny zanaky ny ombimanga.

He maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne.

7 Ny feon’ i Jehovah mampisaraka ny lelafo;

The voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire.

8 Ny feon’ i Jehovah mampihorohoro ny efitra; Jehovah mampihorohoro ny efitr’ i Kadesy.

The voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble.

9 Ny feon’ i Jehovah mampiteraka ny dieravavy, ary mivofy ny ala be; ary ny ao an-tempoliny samy manao hoe: Voninahitra e!

The voice of the Lord maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forests: therefore in his Temple doth euery man speake of his glory.

10 Jehovah nipetraka teo ambonin’ ny safo-drano; eny, Jehovah mipetraka ho Mpanjaka mandrakizay.

The Lord sitteth vpon the flood, and the Lord doeth remaine King for euer.

11 Jehovah hanome hery ny olony; Jehovah hitahy ny olony amin’ ny fiadanana.

The Lord shall giue strength vnto his people: the Lord shall blesse his people with peace.
