Salamo 24

1 Salamo nataon’ i Davida.

A Psalm for David on the first day of the week. A Psalm for David on the first day of the week. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof; the world, and all that dwell in it.

2 Fa Izy no nanorina azy tambonin’ ny ranomasina. Tambonin’ ny rano no nampitoerany azy.

He has founded it upon the seas, and prepared it upon the rivers.

3 Iza no hiakatra any an-tendrombohitr’ i Jehovah? ary iza no hitoetra ao amin’ ny fitoerany masìna?

Who shall go up to the mountain of the Lord, and who shall stand in his holy place?

4 Izay madio tanana sy mahitsy fo, izay tsy manandratra ny fanahiny ho amin’ ny lainga, na mianiana hamitaka.

He that is innocent in his hands and pure in his heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.

5 Handray fitahiana avy amin’ i Jehovah izy, ary fahamarinana avy amin’ Andriamanitry ny famonjena azy.

He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.

6 Izany no taranaka mitady Azy, izay mitady ny tavanao, dia Jakoba. (Sela)

This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek the face of the God of Jacob. (Pause)

7 Asandrato ny lohanareo, ry vavahady, ary misandrata ianareo, ry varavarana fahagola, mba hidiran’ ny mpanjakan’ ny voninahitra.

Lift up your gates, you princes, and be you lifted up, you everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in.

8 Iza izao Mpanjakan’ ny voninahitra izao? Jehovah mahery tsitoha, Jehovah mpiady mahery.

Who is this king of Glory? the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

9 Asandrato ny lohanareo, ry vavahady; ary manandrata ny lohanareo, ry varavarana fahagola, mba hidiran’ ny Mpanjakan’ ny voninahitra.

Lift up your gates, you princes; and be you lift up, you everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in.

10 Iza ary izao Mpanjakan’ ny voninahitra izao? Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, Izy no Mpanjakan’ ny voninahitra. (Sela)

Who is this king of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is this king of glory.
