< Salamo 2 >
1 Nahoana no mitabataba ny jentilisa, ary misaina anoano foana ny firenena?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 Ireo mpanjakan’ ny tany mitsangana, Ary ny mpanapaka miara-mioko hanohitra an’ i Jehovah sy ny Mesiany ka manao hoe:
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against YHWH, and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Aoka hotosantsika ny famatorany, ka hariantsika hiala amintsika ny famehezany.”
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 Izay mipetraka any an-danitra mihomehy, ny Tompo maneso ireo.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: YHWH shall have them in derision.
5 Dia hiteny azy amin’ ny fahavinirany Izy ka hampangorohoro azy amin’ ny fahatezerany hoe:
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 “Izaho kosa efa nanendry ny Mpanjakako Tambonin’ i Ziona, tendrombohitro masìna.”
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 “Hilaza zava-boatendry Aho; Jehovah nilaza tamiko hoe: Zanako Hianao, Izaho niteraka anao androany.
I will declare the decree: YHWH hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Mangataha amiko, dia homeko ho lovanao ny jentilisa ary ny faran’ ny tany ho fanananao.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Hotorotoroinao amin’ ny tehim-by izy: toy ny famaky vilany tany no hanamontsamontsananao azy.”
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10 Ary amin’ izany dia hendre ianareo, ry mpanjaka; minoa anatra ianareo, ry mpitsaran’ ny tany.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Manompoa an’ i Jehovah amin’ ny fahatahorana, ary mifalia amin’ ny fangovitana.
Serve YHWH with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Manoroha ny zanaka, fandrao ho tezitra izy, ka ho very eny an-dalana ianareo; fa vetivety dia hirehitra ny fahatezerany. Sambatra izay rehetra mialoka aminy.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
