1 Fideran’ i Davida.
My God and King, I will proclaim that you are very great/glorious; I will praise you [MTY] now and forever.
2 Hankalaza Anao isan’ andro aho sy hidera ny anaranao mandrakizay doria.
Every day I will praise you; [Yes], I will praise you [MTY] forever.
3 Lehibe Jehovah ka tokony hoderaina indrindra; Ary tsy takatry ny saina ny fahalehibiazany.
Yahweh you are great, and (you ought to be praised/people should praise you) very much; [we] cannot fully realize how great you are.
4 Ny taranaka rehetra samy hidera ny asanao amin’ izay mandimby azy Sy hanambara ny asanao lehibe.
Parents should tell their children the things that you have done; they should tell their children about your mighty deeds.
5 Ny lazan’ ny voninahitry ny fiandriananao Sy ny asanao mahagaga no hosaintsainiko.
They should tell them that you are very glorious and majestic [DOU], and I will (meditate on/think about) [all] your wonderful deeds.
6 Ny herin’ ny asanao mahatahotra no hotenenin’ ny olona; Ary ny fahalehibiazanao no holazaiko.
People will speak about your powerful and awesome deeds, and I will proclaim that you are [very] great.
7 Hanonona ny fahatsiarovana ny haben’ ny fahatsaranao izy Sy hihoby ny fahamarinanao.
People will remember and proclaim that you are very good [to us], and they will sing joyfully that you [always act] justly/fairly.
8 Mamindra fo sy miantra Jehovah; Mahari-po sady be famindram-po Izy.
Yahweh, you [are] kind and merciful [to us]; you do not quickly become angry; you faithfully love [us] very much.
9 Manisy soa izao tontolo izao Jehovah; Ary ny fiantràny dia eny amin’ ny asany rehetra.
Yahweh, you are good to everyone, and you are merciful to everything that you have made.
10 Jehovah ô, midera Anao ny asanao rehetra; Ary ny olonao masìna misaotra Anao.
Yahweh, [all] the creatures that you [made] will thank you, and all your people will praise you.
11 Milaza ny voninahitry ny fanjakanao izy Sady miresaka ny herinao,
They will tell [others] that you rule gloriously as [our] king and that you are [very] powerful.
12 Mba hampahafantarina ny zanak’ olombelona ny herinao Sy ny haben’ ny voninahitry ny fanjakanao.
[They will do that] in order that everyone will know about your powerful deeds and that you rule [over us] gloriously.
13 Fanjakana mandrakizay ny fanjakanao, Ary hitatra amin’ ny taranaka fara mandimby ny fanapahanao.
You will never stop being king; you [will] rule (throughout all generations/forever). Yahweh, you faithfully do all that you have promised to do, and all that you do, you do mercifully.
14 Jehovah manohana izay rehetra efa ho lavo Sy mampitraka izay rehetra mitanondrika.
Yahweh, you help all those who are discouraged and you lift up all those who (stumble and fall down/are distressed).
15 Ny mason’ izao rehetra izao miandrandra Anao, Ary Hianao manome azy ny haniny amin’ ny fotoany.
All of the creatures that you made expect that you [will provide food for them], and you give them food when they need it.
16 Manokatra ny tananao Hianao Ka mahavoky soa ny zava-miaina rehetra.
You give food to all living creatures generously [IDM], and you cause them to (be satisfied/have all the food that they need).
17 Marina Jehovah amin’ ny lalany rehetra, Sady mamindra fo amin’ ny asany rehetra.
Everything that Yahweh does, he does justly/fairly, and all that he does, he does mercifully.
18 Jehovah dia eo akaikin’ izay rehetra miantso Azy, Dia izay rehetra miantso Azy marina tokoa.
Yahweh (comes near to/is ready to help) all those who call out to him, to those who call to him sincerely.
19 Hanefa ny irin’ izay matahotra Azy Izy Ary hihaino ny fitarainany ka hamonjy azy.
To all those who revere him, he gives them what they need. He hears them when they cry out to him, and saves/rescues them.
20 Miaro izay rehetra tia Azy Jehovah; Fa ny ratsy fanahy rehetra kosa haringany.
Yahweh protects all those who love him, but he will get rid of all the wicked [people].
21 Ny fiderana an’ i Jehovah no hotenenin’ ny vavako; Ary aoka ny nofo rehetra hankalaza ny anarany masìna mandrakizay doria.
I [SYN] will always praise Yahweh; [He is] holy; and I wish/hope that everyone will praise him [MTY] forever.
