< Salamo 144 >

1 Nataon’ i Davida.
BY DAVID. Blessed [is] YHWH my Rock, Who is teaching My hands for war, My fingers for battle.
2 Izay Mpiantra sy batery fiarovana ho ahy sady fiarovana avo sy Mpanafaka ahy, Ary ampingako sy fialofako, Izay mahafolaka ny vahoakako hanoa ahy
My kind one, and my bulwark, My tower, and my deliverer, My shield, and in whom I have trusted, Who is subduing my people under me!
3 Jehovah ô, inona ny olona, no iahianao azy? Ary ny zanak’ olombelona, no iheveranao azy?
YHWH, what [is] man that You know him? The son of man, that You esteem him?
4 Ny olona dia tahaka ny zava-poana, Ny androny dia tahaka ny aloka mihelina.
Man has been like a breath, His days [are] as a shadow passing by.
5 Jehovah ô, aondreho ny lanitrao, ka midìna; Tendreo ny tendrombohitra, dia hidonaka ireny.
YHWH, incline Your heavens and come down, Strike against mountains, and they smoke.
6 Ampitselatselaro ny helatra, ka ampielezo ireo; Alefao ny zana-tsipìkanao, ka ampifanaritaho ireo;
Send forth lightning, and scatter them, Send forth Your arrows, and trouble them,
7 Ahinjiro avy any ambony ny tananao; Afaho aho, ka vonjeo amin’ ny rano be, Dia amin’ ny tanan’ ny hafa firenena,
Send forth Your hand from on high, Free me, and deliver me from many waters, From the hand of sons of a stranger,
8 Izay miteny zava-poana amin’ ny vavany, Ary ny tànany ankavanana dia tanana ankavanana mamitaka.
Because their mouth has spoken vanity, And their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood.
9 Andriamanitra ô, hihira fihiram-baovao ho Anao aho; Amin’ ny valiha tory folo no hankalazako Anao,
O God, I sing to You a new song, I sing praise to You on a stringed instrument of ten strings.
10 Izay manome famonjena ho an’ ireo mpanjaka, Sady mamonjy an’ i Davida mpanompony tsy ho voan’ ny sabatra mandratra.
Who is giving deliverance to kings, Who is freeing His servant David from the sword of evil.
11 Afaho aho, ka vonjeo amin’ ny tanan’ ny hafa firenena, Izay miteny zava-poana amin’ ny vavany, Ary ny tànany ankavanana dia tanana ankavanana mamitaka;
Free me, and deliver me From the hand of sons of a stranger, Because their mouth has spoken vanity, And their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood,
12 Mba ho tahaka ny zava-maniry maroroka ny zanakai-lahy, Ary ho tahaka ny vato fehizoro voasoratra tsara toy ny fomban’ ny lapan’ andriana ny zanakai-vavy.
Because our sons [are] as plants, Becoming great in their youth, Our daughters as hewn stones, Polished—the likeness of a palace,
13 Ho feno ny trano fitehirizanay, ka hisy vokatra betsaka samy hafa karazana; Hiteraka arivoarivo sy alinalina ny ondrinay any an-tsahanay;
Our granaries [are] full, bringing out from kind to kind, Our flocks are bringing forth thousands, Ten thousands in our out-places,
14 Hahazaka be ny ombinay, Ary tsy hisy ho rava, na ho lasan-ko babo, Sady tsy hisy fitarainana any an-dalambenay.
Our oxen are carrying, there is no breach, And there is no outgoing, And there is no crying in our broad places.
15 Sambatra ny firenena izay tahaka izany; Eny, sambatra ny firenena izay manana an’ i Jehovah ho Andriamaniny.
O the blessedness of the people that is thus, O the blessedness of the people whose God [is] YHWH!
