< Salamo 130 >
Out of the depths I have cried to you, Adonai.
2 Tompo ô, henoy ny feoko; Aoka ny sofinao hihaino tsara ny feon’ ny fifonako.
Lord, sh'ma ·hear obey· my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.
3 Raha mandinika heloka Hianao, Jehovah ô, Iza no hahajanona, Tompo ô?
If you, Yah, kept a record of depravities (moral evils), Lord, who could stand?
4 Fa eo aminao no misy ny famelan-keloka, Mba hatahorana Anao.
But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.
5 Niandry an’ i Jehovah aho; eny, niandry Azy ny fanahiko, Ary ny teniny no nanantenako.
I wait for Adonai. My soul waits. I hope in his word.
6 Ny fanahiko miandry ny Tompo Mihoatra noho ny fiandrin’ ny mpiambina ny maraina, Dia ny fiandrin’ ny mpiambina ny maraina.
My soul longs for 'Adonay [Lord] more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning.
7 Manantenà an’ i Jehovah, ry Isiraely; Fa eo amin’ i Jehovah no misy famindram-po sy fanavotana be;
Israel [God prevails], hope in Adonai, for with Adonai there is chesed ·loving-kindness·. With him is abundant redemption.
8 Ary Izy no hanavotra ny Isiraely Ho afaka amin’ ny helony rehetra.
He will redeem Israel [God prevails] from all their depravities (moral evils).
