Salamo 126

1 Fihirana fiakarana.

[A Song of Ascents.] When YHWH brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.

2 Fahizay dia feno hehy ny vavantsika Sy fihobiana ny lelantsika; Dia natao tany amin’ ny Jentilisa hoe: Zava-dehibe no nataon’ i Jehovah ho an’ ireny.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "YHWH has done great things for them."

3 Eny, zava-dehibe no nataon’ i Jehovah ho antsika, Ka dia faly isika.

YHWH has done great things for us, and we are glad.

4 Tanteraho, Jehovah ô, ny ham-podiana anay avy amin’ ny fahababoana, Tahaka ny fiverenan’ ny riaka any amin’ ny tany atsimo.

Restore our fortunes again, YHWH, like the streams in the Negev.

5 Izay mamafy am-pitomaniana Dia hijinja am-pifaliana.

Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

6 Mandeha mitomany mitondra ny voa afafiny izy, Fa hiverina mitondra ny amboarany amin’ ny fihobiana kosa.

He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.
