Salamo 108

1 Tonon-kira. Salamo nataon’ i Davida. Andriamanitra ô, tafatoetra ny foko; Ny fanahiko no hihira sy hankalaza.

A Song [or] Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2 Mifohaza, ry valiha sy lokanga; hifoha maraina koa aho.

Awake, psaltery and harp: I [myself] will awake early.

3 Hidera Anao eny amin’ ny firenena maro aho, Jehovah ô, Ary hankalaza Anao eny amin’ ny jentilisa.

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises to thee among the nations.

4 Fa lehibe mihoatra ny lanitra ny famindram-ponao; Ary mipaka eny amin’ ny rahona ny fahamarinanao.

For thy mercy [is] great above the heavens: and thy truth [reacheth] to the clouds.

5 Misandrata any ambonin’ ny lanitra Hianao, Andriamanitra ô; Ary aoka ho etỳ ambonin’ ny tany rehetra ny voninahitrao.

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

6 Mba hahafaka ny malalanao, Dia vonjeo amin’ ny tananao ankavanana aho, ka valio.

That thy beloved may be delivered: save [with] thy right hand, and answer me.

7 Andriamanitra niteny tamin’ ny fahamasinany hoe: Hifaly Aho ka hizara an’ i Sekema, Ary ny lohasahan’ i Sokota horefesiko;

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.

8 Ahy Gileada, Ahy Manase; Ary aron’ ny lohako Efraima; Tehim-panjakako Joda;

Gilead [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of my head; Judah [is] my lawgiver;

9 Tavindranoko fanasana Moaba; Edoma no hanipazako ny kapako; noho ny amin’ i Filistia ho hihobiako.

Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

10 Iza no hitondra ahy ho any an-tanàna mafy? Iza no hitarika ahy ho any Edoma?

Who will bring me into the strong city: who will lead me into Edom?

11 Tsy Hianao va no efa nanary anay, Andriamanitra ô, Sady tsy mivoaka miaraka amin’ ny miaramilanay, Andriamanitra ô?

[Wilt] not [thou], O God, [who] hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies?

12 Vonjeo amin’ ny fahavalo izahay; Fa zava-poana ny famonjena ataon’ ny olona.

Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man.

13 Andriamanitra no haharezan-tsika; Fa Izy no hanitsakitsaka ny fahavalontsika.

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he will tread down our enemies.
