Filemona 1
1 Paoly, mpifatotra an’ i Kristy Jesosy, ary Timoty rahalahy, mamangy an’ i Filemona, izay malalanay sy mpiara-miasa aminay,
Paul a prisoner of Christ Jesus and Timothy [our] brother To Philemon the beloved and fellow worker of us

and to Apphia (our sister *N(K)O*) and to Archippus the fellow soldier of us and to the at [the] house of you church:

Grace to you and peace from God Father of us and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
4 Misaotra an’ Andriamanitro mandrakariva aho, raha mahatsiaro anao amin’ ny fivavahako,
I thank the God of mine always mention of you making upon the prayers of mine,
5 satria reko ny fitiavanao sy ny finoana izay anananao ho an’ i Jesosy Tompo sy ho an’ ny olona masìna rehetra,
hearing of your love and the faith that you have (toward *NK(o)*) the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,
6 mba hiasa mafy ho an’ i Kristy ny fiombonana avy amin’ ny finoanao amin’ ny fahalalana tsara ny zavatra rehetra izay ao anatinareo.
so that the fellowship of the faith of you effective may become in [the] acknowledgment of every good [thing] that [is] in (us *N(K)O*) in Christ (Jesus. *K*)
7 Fa nanana fifaliana sy fiononana amin’ ny fitiavanao aho, satria efa novelombelominao ny fon’ ny olona masìna, ry rahalahy.
(Joy *NK(O)*) for great (I have *N(K)O*) and encouragement by occasion of the love of you, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
8 Koa na dia manana fahasahiana be ao amin’ i Kristy handidy anao amin’ izay mendrika aza aho,
Therefore much in Christ boldness having to order you what [is] befitting
9 nefa noho ny fitiavana, izaho Paoly, izay efa anti-panahy sady mpifatotra an’ i Kristy Jesosy koa ankehitriny, dia miangavy aminao.
for the sake of love rather I exhort [you], such a one being as Paul aged now then also a prisoner of Christ Jesus;
10 Eny, miangavy aminao aho ny amin’ ny zanako, izay naterako teto amin’ ny fifatorako, dia Onesimosy,
I exhort you for my child whom I have begotten in the chains (of mine *K*) Onesimus,
11 ilay tsy nahasoa anao fahiny, nefa ankehitriny mahasoa antsika, dia ianao sy izaho;
once to you useless now however (both *n*) to you and to me myself useful,
12 izay nampodiko indray, dia ilay sombin’ ny aiko;
whom I have sent back (to you *N(K)O*) (now *k*) in person — who is my very heart — (do yourself receive. *K*)
13 saiky nohazoniko tatỳ amiko izy hanompo ahy hisolo anao eto amin’ ny fifatorako noho ny filazantsara;
whom I myself was wishing with myself to keep, so that on behalf of you me he may serve in the chains of the gospel;
14 nefa raha tsy nahalala izay hevitrao aho aloha, dia tsy ta-hanao na inona na inona, mba tsy ho toy ny amin’ ny fanerena ny soa ataonao, fa amin’ ny sitrapo.
Apart from however your consent no [thing] I wished to do, so that not as according to necessity the good of you may be but according to willingness.
Perhaps for because of this he was separated [from you] for a time, so that eternally him you may possess; (aiōnios g166)
16 tsy toy ny andevo intsony anefa, fa efa mihoatra noho ny andevo, dia rahalahy malala, indrindra fa ho ahy, mainka fa ho anao, na amin’ ny nofo, na amin’ ny Tompo.
no longer no longer as a slave but above a slave, a brother beloved, especially to me myself, how much however more to you both in [the] flesh and in [the] Lord?
17 Koa raha ataonao ho namanao aho, dia raiso toa ahy izy.
If therefore me you consider a partner, do yourself receive him as me myself.
18 Nefa raha nanao izay tsy marina taminao izy, na mitrosa, dia ataovy ho ahy izany;
If however in any way he has wronged you or he owes [you], this to me myself do charge.
19 izaho Paoly no manoratra izany amin’ ny tanako, izaho no handoa izany ― nefa tsy lazaiko aminao fa mitrosa ny tenanao amiko aza ianao.
I myself Paul did write with my own hand, I myself will repay [it]; that not I may say to you that even yourself to me you owe also.
20 Eny, ry rahalahy, aoka hanana fifaliana avy aminao ao amin’ ny Tompo aho; velombelomy ny foko ao amin’ i Kristy.
Yes, brother, I myself from you I would have profit in [the] Lord; do refresh my heart in (Christ. *N(K)O*)
21 Noho ny fahatokiako fa hanaiky ianao no anoratako aminao, ka fantatro fa hanao mihoatra noho izay lazaiko aza ianao.
Having been persuaded of the obedience of you I write to you knowing that even above (what [things] *N(k)O*) I say you will do.
22 Ary izao koa: Mba anamboary trano hitoerako aho; fa manantena aho fa homena anareo noho ny vavaka ataonareo.
At the same time now also do prepare for me a lodging; I hope for that through the prayers of you I will be granted to you.
23 Manao veloma anao Epafra, mpifatotra namako ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy,
(He greets *N(K)O*) you Epaphras fellow prisoner of mine in Christ Jesus,
24 sy Marka sy Aristarko sy Demasy ary Lioka, mpiara-miasa amiko.
[as do] Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, [and] Luke, the fellow workers of mine.
