1 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
2 Mitenena amin’ i Arona hoe: Raha mampirehitra ny jiro fito ianao, dia ataovy mahazava ny eo anoloan’ ny fanaovan-jiro izy.
Speake vnto Aaron, and say vnto him, When thou lightest the lampes, the seuen lampes shall giue light towarde the forefront of the Candlesticke.
3 Dia nataon’ i Arona izany, fa nampirehetiny ny jiro mba hahazava ny eo anoloan’ ny fanaovan-jiro, araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
And Aaron did so, lighting the lampes thereof towarde ye forefront of the Candlesticke, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
4 Ary izao no toetry ny fanaovan-jiro; volamena novoasana izy; hatramin’ ny faladiany sy ny voniny aza dia samy novoasana avokoa; araka ny endrika izay nasehon’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy no nanaovany ny fanaovan-jiro.
And this was the worke of the Candlesticke, euen of golde beaten out with the hammer, both the shafte, and the flowres thereof was beaten out with the hammer: according to the paterne, which the Lord had shewed Moses, so made he the Candlesticke.
5 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
6 Alao ny Levita avy amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely, ka diovy izy.
Take the Leuites from among the children of Israel, and purifie them.
7 Ary izao no hataonao aminy hanadiovana azy: Fafazo rano fanadiovana izy, ary asaovy haratany avokoa ny tenany rehetra, ary aoka hosasany ny fitafiany, ka dia hadio izy.
And thus shalt thou doe vnto them, when thou purifiest them, Sprinckle water of purification vpon them, and let them shaue all their flesh, and wash their clothes: so they shalbe cleane.
8 Dia asaovy maka vantotr’ ombilahy iray izy mbamin’ ny fanatitra hohanina fombany, dia koba tsara toto voaharo diloilo; ary vantotr’ ombilahy iray koa no halainao ho fanatitra noho ny ota.
Then they shall take a yong bullocke with his meate offring of fine floure, mingled with oyle, and another yong bullocke shalt thou take for a sinne offring.
9 Ary ento ny Levita hankeo anoloan’ ny trano-lay fihaonana; ary vorio ny fiangonana, dia ny Zanak’ Isiraely rehetra.
Then thou shalt bring the Leuites before the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and asseble all the Congregation of the children of Israel.
10 Ary ento ny Levita hankeo anatrehan’ i Jehovah; ary ny Zanak’ Isiraely hametraka ny tànany aminy;
Thou shalt bring the Leuites also before the Lord, and the children of Israel shall put their handes vpon the Leuites.
11 ary Arona dia hanatitra ny Levita eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah ho fanatitra ahevaheva avy amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely, mba hanao ny fanompoana an’ i Jehovah izy.
And Aaron shall offer the Leuites before the Lord, as a shake offring of ye childre of Israel, that they may execute the seruice of the Lord.
12 Ary ny Levita hametraka ny tànany amin’ ny lohan’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy roa; dia atero ny anankiray ho fanatitra noho ny ota, ary ny anankiray kosa ho fanatitra dorana ho an’ i Jehovah, hanaovana fanavotana ho an’ ny Levita.
And the Leuites shall put their handes vpon the heades of the bullockes, and make thou the one a sinne offring, and the other a burnt offring vnto the Lord, that thou mayest make an atonement for the Leuites.
13 Ary apetraho eo anatrehan’ i Arona sy ny zanany ny Levita, ka atero ho fanatitra ahevaheva ho an’ i Jehovah izy.
And thou shalt set the Leuites before Aaron and before his sonnes, and offer the as a shake offring to the Lord.
14 Ary ampiavaho amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely ny Levita, dia ho Ahy izy.
Thus thou shalt separate the Leuites from among the children of Israel, and the Leuites shall be mine.
15 Ary rehefa afaka izany, dia hiditra ny Levita hanao fanompoana ao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana. Dia hodiovinao toy izany izy ka haterinao ho fanatitra ahevaheva;
And afterwarde shall the Leuites goe in, to serue in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and thou shalt purifie them and offer them, as a shake offering.
16 fa efa nomena ho Ahy avy tamin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely mihitsy izy; ho solon’ izay voalohan-teraka rehetra, dia izay lahimatoa rehetra amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely, no nanalako azy ho Ahy.
For they are freely giuen vnto me from among the children of Israel, for such as open any wombe: for all the first borne of the children of Israel haue I taken them vnto me.
17 Fa Ahy ny voalohan-teraka rehetra amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely, na olona na biby fiompy; tamin’ ilay andro namelezako ny voalohan-teraka rehetra tany amin’ ny tany Egypta no nanamasinako azy ho Ahy.
For all the first borne of the children of Israel are mine, both of man and of beast: since the day that I smote euery first borne in the land of Egypt, I sanctified them for my selfe.
18 Ary efa nalaiko ny Levita ho solon’ ny lahimatoa rehetra amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely.
And I haue taken the Leuites for all the first borne of the children of Israel,
19 Ary nomeko ho an’ i Arona sy ny zanany mihitsy ny Levita, avy amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely, hanao ny fanompoan’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely ao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana sy hanao fanavotana ho an’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely, mba tsy hisy areti-mandringana hanjo azy, raha manakaiky ny fitoerana masìna izy.
And haue giuen the Leuites as a gift vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes from among the children of Israel, to do the seruice of the children of Israel in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come neere vnto the Sanctuarie.
20 Dia nataon’ i Mosesy sy Arona mbamin’ ny fiangonana, dia ny Zanak’ Isiraely rehetra, tamin’ ny Levita izany; araka izay rehetra efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy ny amin’ ny Levita no nataon’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely taminy.
Then Moses and Aaron and all the Cogregation of the children of Israel did with the Leuites, according vnto all that the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Leuites: so did the children of Israel vnto them.
21 Dia nodiovin’ ny Levita ny tenany ho afaka ota, ary nosasany ny fitafiany; ary Arona nanatitra azy ho fanatitra ahevaheva eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah sady nanao fanavotana ho azy hanadiovana azy.
So the Leuites were purified, and washed their clothes, and Aaron offred them as a shake offring before the Lord, and Aaron made an atonement for them, to purifie them.
22 Ary rehefa afaka izany, dia niditra ny Levita hanao ny fihaonana teo anatrehan’ i Arona sy ny zanany; araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy ny amin’ ny Levita no nataony taminy.
And after that, went the Leuites in to doe their seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, before Aaron and before his sonnes: as the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Leuites, so they did vnto them.
23 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
24 Ny amin’ ny Levita dia izao: Hatramin’ ny dimy amby roa-polo taona no ho miakatra izy no hanatona hilatsaka amin’ ny antokony hanao ny fanompoana ao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana;
This also belongeth to the Leuites: from fiue and twentie yeere olde and vpwarde, they shall goe in, to execute their office in the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
25 fa rehefa dimam-polo taona kosa izy, dia hiala amin’ ny antokon’ ny fanompoana ka tsy hanompo intsony;
And after the age of fiftie yeere, they shall cease from executing the office, and shall serue no more:
26 kanefa mahazo manampy ny rahalahiny ao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana ihany izy mba hitandrina izay anjara-raharaha; fa tsy hanao fanompoana hafa izy. Izany no hataonao amin’ ny Levita ny amin’ ny anjara-raharahany.
But they shall minister with their brethre in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, to keepe things committed to their charge, but they shall doe no seruice: thus shalt thou doe vnto the Leuites touching their charges.
