1 Ary izao no nandehan’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely, izay nentin’ i Mosesy sy Arona nivoaka avy tany amin’ ny tany Egypta araka ny antokony.
These are the journeys of the Israelites when they came out of the land of Egypt by their divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.
2 Dia nosoratan’ i Mosesy ny nialany araka ny nandehanany, araka ny didin’ i Jehovah; ary izao no nandehanany araka ny nialany:
At the LORD’s command, Moses recorded the stages of their journey. These are the stages listed by their starting points:
3 Niala tao Ramesesa Izy tamin’ ny volana voalohany, dia tamin’ ny andro fahadimy ambin’ ny folo tamin’ ny volana voalohany; nony ampitson’ ny Paska no nivoahan’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely tamin’ ny tanana avo teo imason’ ny Egyptiana rehetra.
On the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, the Israelites set out from Rameses. They marched out defiantly in full view of all the Egyptians,
4 Fa ny Egyptiana mbola nandevina izay efa novonoin’ i Jehovah teo aminy, dia ny lahimatoa rehetra; ary ny andriamaniny dia notsarain’ i Jehovah.
who were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck down among them; for the LORD had executed judgment against their gods.
5 Ary nony niala tao Ramesesa ny Zanak’ Isiraely, dia nitoby tao Sokota.
The Israelites set out from Rameses and camped at Succoth.
6 Ary nony niala tao Sokota izy, dia nitoby ao Etama, izay teo an-tsisin’ ny efitra.
They set out from Succoth and camped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.
7 Ary nony niala tao Etama izy, dia nivily nankao Pi-hahirota, izay tandrifin’ i Balazefona, ka nitoby tandrifin’ i Migdola.
They set out from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, opposite Baal-zephon, and they camped near Migdol.
8 Ary nony niala tandrifin’ i Hahirota izy, dia nandeha nita teo afovoan’ ny ranomasina ho any an-efitra, dia nandeha lalan-kateloana tany an-efitra Etama izy ka nitoby tao Mara.
They set out from Pi-hahiroth and crossed through the sea, into the wilderness, and they journeyed three days into the Wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.
9 Ary nony niala tao Mara izy, dia nankany Elima; ary tao Elima dia nisy loharano roa ambin’ ny folo sy hazo rofia fito-polo, dia nitoby teo izy.
They set out from Marah and came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.
10 Ary nony niala tao Elima izy, dia nitoby tao amoron’ ny Ranomasina Mena.
They set out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.
11 Ary nony niala tao amoron’ ny Ranomasina Mena izy, dia nitoby tany an-efitra Sina.
They set out from the Red Sea and camped in the Desert of Sin.
12 Ary nony niala tany an-efitra Sina izy, dia nitoby tao Dopka.
They set out from the Desert of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
13 Ary nony niala tao Dopka izy, dia nitoby tao Alosy.
They set out from Dophkah and camped at Alush.
14 Ary nony niala tao Alosy izy, dia nitoby tao Refidima; ary tsy nisy rano tao hosotroin’ ny olona.
They set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
15 Ary nony niala tao Refidima izy, dia nitoby tany an-efitr’ i Sinay.
They set out from Rephidim and camped in the Wilderness of Sinai.
16 Ary nony niala tany an-efitr’ i Sinay izy, dia nitoby tao Kibrota-hatava.
They set out from the Wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth-hattaavah.
17 Ary nony niala tao Kibrota-hatava izy, dia nitoby tao Hazerota.
They set out from Kibroth-hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.
18 Ary nony niala tao Hazerota izy, dia nitoby tao Ritma.
They set out from Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.
19 Ary nony niala tao Ritma izy, dia nitoby tao Rimona-pareza.
They set out from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon-perez.
20 Ary nony niala tao Rimona-pareza izy, dia nitoby tao Libna.
They set out from Rimmon-perez and camped at Libnah.
21 Ary nony niala tao Libna izy, dia nitoby tao Risa.
They set out from Libnah and camped at Rissah.
22 Ary nony niala tao Risa izy, dia nitoby tao Kehelata.
They set out from Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.
23 Ary nony niala tao Kehelata izy, dia nitoby tao an-tendrombohitra Sapera.
They set out from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
24 Ary nony niala tao an-tendrombohitra Sapera izy, dia nitoby tao Harada.
They set out from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
25 Ary nony niala tao Harada izy, dia nitoby tao Makelota.
They set out from Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
26 Ary nony niala tao Makelota izy, dia nitoby tao Tahata.
They set out from Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
27 Ary nony niala tao Tahata izy, dia nitoby tao Tera.
They set out from Tahath and camped at Terah.
28 Ary nony niala tao Tera izy, dia nitoby tao Mitka.
They set out from Terah and camped at Mithkah.

They set out from Moseroth and camped at Bene-jaakan.

They set out from Bene-jaakan and camped at Hor-haggidgad.
33 Ary nony niala tao Hora-hagidgada izy, dia nitoby tao Jotbata.
They set out from Hor-haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
34 Ary nony niala tao Jotbata izy, dia nitoby tao Abrona.
They set out from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.
35 Ary nony niala tao Abrona izy, dia nitoby tao Ezion-gebera.
They set out from Abronah and camped at Ezion-geber.
36 Ary nony niala tao Ezion-gebera izy, dia nitoby tany an-efitra Zina (Kadesy izany).
They set out from Ezion-geber and camped at Kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin.
37 Ary nony niala tao Kadesy izy, dia nitoby tao an-tendrombohitra Hora, tao an-tsisin’ ny tany Edoma.
They set out from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom.
38 Ary Arona mpisorona niakatra tao an-tendrombohitra Hora, araka ny didin’ i Jehovah, dia maty tao izy tamin’ ny fahefa-polo taona taorian’ ny nivoahan’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely avy tany amin’ ny tany Egypta, tamin’ ny andro voalohany tamin’ ny volana fahadimy.
At the LORD’s command, Aaron the priest climbed Mount Hor and died there on the first day of the fifth month, in the fortieth year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt.
39 Ary efa telo amby roa-polo amby zato taona Arona, raha maty tao an-tendrombohitra Hora izy.
Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40 Ary ren’ ilay Kananita, mpanjakan’ i Arada, izay nonina teo amin’ ny tany atsimo amin’ ny tany Kanana, fa avy ny Zanak’ Isiraely.
Now the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard that the Israelites were coming.
41 Ary nony niala tao an-tendrombohitra Hora izy, dia nitoby tao Zalmona.
And the Israelites set out from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
42 Ary nony niala tao Zalmona izy, dia nitoby tao Ponona.
They set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
43 Ary nony niala tao Ponona izy, dia nitoby tao Obota.
They set out from Punon and camped at Oboth.
44 Ary nony niala tao Obota izy, dia nitoby tao Ie-abarima tao amin’ ny faritanin’ i Moaba.
They set out from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim on the border of Moab.
45 Ary nony niala tao Ie-abarima izy, dia nitoby tao Dibon-gada.
They set out from Iyim and camped at Dibon-gad.
46 Ary nony niala tao Dibon-gada izy, dia nitoby tao Almon-diblataima.
They set out from Dibon-gad and camped at Almon-diblathaim.
47 Ary nony niala tao Almon-diblataima izy, dia nitoby tao amin’ ny tendrombohitra Abarima, tandrifin’ i Nebo.
They set out from Almon-diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim facing Nebo.
48 Ary nony niala tamin’ ny tendrombohitra Abarima izy, dia nitoby tao Arbota-moaba, teo amoron’ i Jordana tandrifin’ i Jeriko.
They set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
49 Ary nitoby teo amoron’ i Jordana izy hatrany Betijesimota ka hatrany Abela-sitima, tao Arbota-moaba.
And there on the plains of Moab they camped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth to Abel-shittim.
50 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy teo Arbota-moaba, teo amoron’ i Jordana tandrifin’ i Jeriko, ka nanao hoe:
On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, the LORD said to Moses,
51 Mitenena amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely hoe: Rehefa tafita an’ i Jordana ka tonga any amin’ ny tany Kanana ianareo,
“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
52 dia horoahinareo eo alohanareo ny mponina rehetra amin’ ny tany, ary horavanareo ny vato soratany rehetra, ary hosimbanareo ny sarin-javany an-idina rehetra, ary horavanareo ny fitoerana avony rehetra;
you must drive out before you all the inhabitants of the land, destroy all their carved images and cast idols, and demolish all their high places.
53 dia halainareo ny tany, ka hitoetra eo ianareo; fa ianareo no nomeko ny tany ho zara-taninareo.
You are to take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.
54 Ary filokana no hizaranareo ny tany araka ny fokonareo avy: ny maro isa homenareo zara-tany bebe kokoa, ary ny vitsy isa homenareo kelikely kokoa; samy ao amin’ izay ivoahan’ ny filokana ho azy no ho anjarany; araka ny firenen’ ny razanareo no hahazoanareo zara-tany.
And you are to divide the land by lot according to your clans. Give a larger inheritance to a larger clan and a smaller inheritance to a smaller one. Whatever falls to each one by lot will be his. You will receive an inheritance according to the tribes of your fathers.
55 Fa raha tsy roahinareo eo alohanareo ny mponina amin’ ny tany, dia ho lay amin’ ny masonareo sy ho tsilo amin’ ny tehezanareo izay avelanareo hitoetra eo, ka handrafy anareo eo amin’ ny tany izay onenanareo izy;
But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land before you, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides; they will harass you in the land where you settle.
56 ary hataoko aminareo izay nokasaiko hatao aminy.
And then I will do to you what I had planned to do to them.”
