Marka 11
1 Ary raha nanakaiky any Jerosalema tao Betifaga sy Betania any an-tendrombohitra Oliva izy, dia naniraka roa lahy tamin’ ny mpianany Jesosy
As they approached Jerusalem, being come as far as Bethphage, and Bethany, near the Mount of Olives; he sent two of his disciples,
2 ka nanao taminy hoe: Mankanesa amin’ iroa vohitra tandrifinareo iroa; ary raha vao miditra eo ianareo, miaraka amin’ izay dia hahita zana-boriky mifatotra, izay tsy mbola nitaingenan’ olona; vahao izy, ka ento etỳ.
and said to them, Go into the village opposite you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied, on which no man ever rode; loose him, and bring him.
3 Ary raha misy olona manao aminareo hoe: Ahoana no anaovanareo izao? dia lazao hoe: Misy raharaha analan’ ny Tompo azy; dia havelany ho entina etỳ indray miaraka amin’ izay izy.
And if any person ask you, Wherefore do you this? say, The Master needs him, and he will instantly send him hither.
4 Dia nandeha izy ka nahita zana-boriky nifatotra teo ala-trano anilan’ ny varavarana teo an-dalana, dia novahany izy.
Accordingly they went, and finding a colt tied before a door, where two ways met, they loosed him.
5 Ary ny olona sasany teo nanao taminy hoe: Ahoana no amahanareo ny zana-boriky?
Some of the people present said to them, Wherefore do you loose the colt?
6 Ary izy nilaza taminy araka izay nolazain’ i Jesosy taminy, dia navelan’ ny olona handeha izy.
They having answered as Jesus had commanded them, were allowed to take him.
7 Ary nentiny teo amin’ i Jesosy ny zana-boriky, dia nataony teo amboniny ny lambany; ary Jesosy nitaingina azy.
Accordingly they brought the colt to Jesus, on which having laid their mantles, he sat on him.
8 Ary maro no namelatra ny lambany teny an-dalana; ary ny sasany kosa nampihahaka rantsan-kazo izay efa nalainy tany an-tsaha.
And many spread their mantles in the way; others cut down sprays from the trees, and strowed them in the way.
9 Ary izay nandeha teo alohany sy izay nanaraka teo aoriany dia samy niantso hoe: Hosana! Isaorana anie Izay avy amin’ ny anaran’ i Jehovah!
And they who went before, and they who followed shouted, saying, Hosanna! blessed be He that comes in the name of the Lord!
10 Hotahina anie ny fanjakana izay avy, dia ny an’ i Davida raintsika! Hosana any amin’ ny avo indrindra.
Happy be the approaching Reign of our Father David!
11 Ary Jesosy niditra tany Jerosalema ka nankeo an-kianjan’ ny tempoly; ary rehefa nijerijery ny zavatra rehetra Izy, sady efa hariva ny andro tamin’ izay, dia niala Izy mbamin’ ny roa ambin’ ny folo lahy ka nankany Betania.
In this manner Jesus entered Jerusalem and the temple; where, after surveying everything around, it being late, he departed with the twelve to Bethany.
12 Ary nony ampitson’ iny, rehefa niala tany Betania izy, dia noana Jesosy.
The next day, when he left Bethany, he was hungry;
13 Ary nahatsinjo aviavy anankiray mandravina erỳ lavidavitra Izy, dia nankeo, fa toa hahita voany eo aminy; kanjo nony tonga teo aminy Izy, dia tsy nahita na inona na inona, afa-tsy ravina ihany; fa tsy mbola tonga ny taom-pamoazan’ ny aviavy.
and observing a fig tree at a distance, full of leaves, went to look for fruit on it, for the fig harvest was not yet. And being come, he found nothing but leaves.
14 Ary Jesosy namaly ka nanao taminy hoe: Aza misy mihinana voa avy aminao intsony mandrakizay. Ary ny mpianany nahare izany. (aiōn g165)
Then he said to it, Henceforth let no man ever eat fruit off you. And his disciples heard him. (aiōn g165)
15 Ary tonga tany Jerosalema izy: ary Jesosy niditra teo an-kianjan’ ny tempoly, dia nandroaka izay nivarotra sy izay nividy teo an-kianjan’ ny tempoly sady nanjera ny latabatry ny mpanakalo vola sy ny fipetrahan’ ny mpivarotra ny voromailala;
Being returned to Jerusalem, he went into the temple, and drove out them who sold, and them who bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers, and the stalls of them who sold doves;
16 ary tsy navelany hisy olona hitondra fanaka handeha hamaky ny kianjan’ ny tempoly.
and would suffer no person to carry vessels through the temple.
17 Dia nampianatra Izy ka nanao taminy hoe: Tsy voasoratra hoe va: Ny tranoko hatao hoe trano fivavahana ho an’ ny firenena rehetra?; fa ianareo kosa efa nanao azy ho zohy fieren’ ny jiolahy.
He also taught them, saying, Is it not written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations?" but you have made it a den of robbers.
18 Ary nahare izany ny lohan’ ny mpisorona mbamin’ ny mpanora-dalàna, ka dia nitady izay hamonoany Azy; saingy natahotra Azy izy, satria talanjona ny vahoaka rehetra noho ny fampianarany.
And the scribes and the chief priests hearing this, sought means to destroy him; for they dreaded him, because all the multitude admired his doctrine.
19 Ary isan-kariva dia niala tao an-tanàna Izy.
And in the evening he went out of the city.
20 Ary nony maraina, raha nandalo izy, dia hitany fa efa nalazo hatramin’ ny fakany ilay aviavy.
Next morning as they returned, they saw that the fig tree was dried up from the root.
21 Ary Petera nahatsiahy ka nanao taminy hoe: Raby ô, indro fa efa malazo ilay aviavy nozoninao.
Peter recollecting, said to him, Rabbi, behold the fig tree, which you devoted, already withered.
22 Ary Jesosy namaly ka nanao taminy hoe: Manàna finoana an’ Andriamanitra.
Jesus answered, Have faith in God.
23 Lazaiko aminareo marina tokoa: Na zovy na zovy no hilaza amin’ ity tendrombohitra ity hoe: Mifindrà, ka mianjerà any an-dranomasina, ka tsy hiahanahana ao am-pony, fa hino fa ho tonga ny zavatra lazainy, dia ho azony izany.
For indeed, I say to you, Whoever shall say to this mountain, Be lifted, and thrown into the sea, and shall not in the least doubt, but shall believe that what he says shall happen; whatever he shall command, shall be done for him;
24 Koa lazaiko aminareo: Na inona na inona tononinareo amin’ ny fivavahana sy angatahinareo, dia minoa fa efa nandray ianareo, dia ho azonareo izany.
for which reason I assure you, that what things soever you pray for, if you believe that you shall obtain them, they shall be yours.
25 Ary raha mitsangana mivavaka ianareo, ka misy olona anananareo alahelo, dia mamelà ny helony, mba havelan’ ny Rainareo Izay any an-danitra kosa ny helokareo.
And when you pray, forgive, if you have matter of complaint against any; that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your trespasses.
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father, who is in heaven, forgive your trespasses.
27 Ary tonga tany Jerosalema indray izy; ary raha nitsangantsangana teo an-kianjan’ ny tempoly Jesosy, dia nanatona Azy ny lohan’ ny mpisorona sy ny mpanora-dalàna ary ny loholona
Again, they arrived at Jerusalem; and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, scribes, and the elders, came,
28 ka nanao taminy hoe: Fahefana manao ahoana no anaovanao izao zavatra izao? Ary iza no nanome Anao izany fahefana izany hanaovanao izao zavatra izao?
and said to him, By what authority do you these things? and who empowered you to do them?
29 Ary Jesosy nanao taminy hoe: Hanontany anareo zavatra iray loha kosa Aho, ka valio Aho; ary dia holazaiko aminareo izay fahefana anaovako izao zavatra izao:
Jesus answering, said to them, I also have a question to ask; answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 Ny batisan’ i Jaona avy tany an-danitra va, sa avy tamin’ ny olona? Valio Aho.
Was the title which John had to immerse, from heaven, or from men? Answer me.
31 Ary izy ireo niara-nisaina ka nanao hoe: Raha holazaintsika hoe mantsy: Avy tany an-danitra, dia hataony hoe: Nahoana ary no tsy nino azy ianareo?
Then they argued thus among themselves; If we say, From heaven; he will reply, Why, then, did you not believe him?
32 Fa raha holazaintsika hoe kosa: Avy tamin’ ny olona, natahotra ny olona izy, satria neken’ ny olona rehetra fa mpaminany tokoa Jaona.
But if we say, From men; we are in danger from the people, who are all convinced that John was a prophet.
33 Dia namaly an’ i Jesosy izy ka nanao hoe: Tsy fantatray. Ary Jesosy nanao taminy hoe: Izaho kosa tsy hilaza aminareo izay fahefana anaovako izao zavatra izao.
They therefore answering, said to Jesus, We can not tell. Jesus replied, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
