< Levitikosy 4 >

1 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
2 Mitenena amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely hoe: Raha misy olona manota tsy nahy ny didin’ i Jehovah amin’ izay tsy tokony hatao ka mandika ny anankiray amin’ ireny:
“Say this to the Israeli people: This is what must be done if someone sins without intending to sin, doing something that is forbidden in any of Yahweh’s commands.
3 raha ny mpisorona voahosotra no manota ka mahameloka ny olona, dia aoka hanatitra vantotr’ ombilahy tsy misy kilema izy noho ny fahotany izay nataony, dia fanatitra noho ny ota ho an’ i Jehovah.
'If the Supreme [MTY] Priest sins, and that causes all the people to be guilty, he must bring to Yahweh a young bull that has no defects. That will be an offering for the sin that he has committed.
4 Ary hitondra ny vantotr’ ombilahy ho eo anoloan’ ny varavaran’ ny trano-lay fihaonana izy ho eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah; ary hametraka ny tànany amin’ ny lohan’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy izy ka hamono azy eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah.
He must bring the bull to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. He must lay his hands on its head. Then he must slaughter it in front of Yahweh [and drain some of the blood into a bowl].
5 Ary hangalan’ ny mpisorona voahosotra ny ran’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy ka ho entiny ho ao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana;
Then the Supreme Priest must take some of that blood into the Sacred Tent.
6 ary ny mpisorona hanoboka ny fanondrony eo amin’ ny rà, ka hafafiny impito eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, eo anoloan’ ny efitra lamba ao amin’ ny fitoerana masìna;
He must dip [one of] his fingers into the blood and sprinkle it seven times in the presence of Yahweh, in front of the curtain [that separates the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place].
7 ary hotentenan’ ny mpisorona rà ny tandroky ny alitara fandoroana ditin-kazo manitra eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, izay ao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana; ary ny rà sisa rehetra avy amin’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy dia haidiny eo am-bodin’ ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana, izay eo anoloan’ ny varavaran’ ny trano-lay fihaonana.
Then he must put some of the blood on the projections at the corners of the altar where fragrant incense is burned in the Sacred Tent in the presence of Yahweh. The remaining part of the bull’s blood [that is still in the bowl], he must pour out at the base of the altar, where sacrifices are burned, at the entrance to the Sacred Tent.
8 Ary halainy avokoa ny saborany rehetra amin’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy izay atao fanatitra noho ny ota, dia ny safodrorohany sy ny saboran-tsinainy,
From that offering the Supreme Priest must separate these things from the bull that is to be burned: The fat that covers the inner parts of the bull or which is attached to them—
9 ary ny voany roa mbamin’ ny fonom-boany, izay eo amin’ ny takibany, sy ny ila-atiny lehibe; hataony indray manala amin’ ny voany no fanaisony izany,
the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
10 tahaka ny fanalana azy amin’ ny omby izay atao fanati-pihavanana; ary ny mpisorona handoro azy ho fofona eo ambonin’ ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana.
Then the Supreme Priest must completely burn those things on the altar. That will be just like when the fat is removed from an animal that is sacrificed to maintain good fellowship [with Yahweh].
11 Fa ny hoditry ny vantotr’ ombilahy sy ny henany rehetra mbamin’ ny lohany sy ny tongony ary ny taovany sy ny tain-drorohany,
But all the other parts of the animal—its skin/hide and all its other meat, its head and its legs, its inner parts and the intestines,
12 dia ny tenan’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy rehetra, no havoakany avokoa ho eny ivelan’ ny toby ho amin’ izay fitoerana madio fanariana ny lavenona; ary handoro azy eo ambonin’ ny kitay amin’ ny afo izy; eo amin’ ny fanariana ny lavenona no handoroana azy.
he must take outside the camp and throw them in a place that is acceptable to Yahweh, where the ashes are thrown, and he must burn them in a fire on the pile of ashes.
13 Ary raha ny fiangonana, dia ny Isiraely rehetra, kosa no manota tsy nahy, fa misy tsy hitan’ ny mason’ ny fiangonana, ary mandika ny anankiray amin’ ny didin’ i Jehovah amin’ izay tsy tokony hatao izy ka meloka,
‘If all the Israeli people sin without intending to sin, doing something that is forbidden in any of Yahweh’s commands, they will be guilty, even if they do not realize that they have sinned.
14 rehefa fantatra ny ota izay nataony, dia hanatitra vantotr’ ombilahy ny fiangonana ho fanatitra noho ny ota ka hitondra azy ho eo anoloan’ ny trano-lay fihaonana.
When they realize that they have committed a sin, together they must bring a young bull to be an offering for their sin, to the front of the Sacred Tent.
15 Ary ny loholon’ ny fiangonana hametraka ny tànany amin’ ny lohan’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah; ary ny vantotr’ ombilahy dia hovonoina eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah.
The elders must lay their hands on the bull’s head in the presence of Yahweh and slaughter it [and catch some of the blood in a bowl].
16 Ary hangalan’ ny mpisorona voahosotra ny ran’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy ka ho entiny ho ao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana,
Then the Supreme [MTY] Priest must take some of that blood into the Sacred Tent.
17 ary ny mpisorona hanoboka ny fanondrony amin’ ny rà, ka hafafiny impito eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, dia eo anoloan’ ny efitra lamba.
‘He must dip [one of] his fingers into the blood and sprinkle it seven times in the presence of Yahweh, in front of the curtain [that separates the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place].
18 Ary hangalany koa ny rà ka hatentiny eo amin’ ny tandroky ny alitara izay eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, dia ilay ao anatin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana, ary ny rà sisa rehetra dia haidiny eo am-bodin’ ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana, izay eo am-baravaran’ ny trano-lay fihaonana.
Then he must put some of the blood on the projections at the corners of the altar that is in the presence of Yahweh in the Sacred Tent. The remaining part of the bull’s blood, he must pour out at the base of the altar where sacrifices are burned, at the entrance of the Sacred Tent.
19 Dia hanaisotra ny saborany rehetra izy ka handoro azy ho fofona eo ambonin’ ny alitara.
He must remove all the animal’s fat and burn it on the altar.
20 Ary ny vantotr’ ombilahy dia hataony tahaka ny efa nataony tamin’ ny vantotr’ ombilahy izay natao fanatitra noho ny ota, toy izany no hanaovany azy; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho an’ ny olona, dia havela ny helony.
He must do with this bull the same things that he did with the bull that was an offering for his own sins, and they will be forgiven {Yahweh will forgive them}.
21 Ary ny vantotr’ ombilahy dia havoakany ho eny ivelan’ ny toby ka hodorany tahaka ny efa nandoroany ny vantotr’ ombilahy voalohany; dia fanatitra noho ny ota ho an’ ny fiangonana izany.
Then the priest must take [the other parts of] the bull outside the camp and burn them, like he does when he himself has sinned. That will be the offering for the sin that all the people have committed, and they will be forgiven.
22 Ary raha misy mpanapaka manota tsy nahy ka mandika ny anankiray amin’ ny didin’ i Jehovah Andriamaniny amin’ izay tsy tokony hatao ka meloka,
‘When one of the leaders sins without intending to sin, doing something that is forbidden in any of the commands of Yahweh his God, he will be guilty.
23 ary misy mampahafantatra azy ny fahotany izay nataony, dia hitondra osilahy tsy misy kilema ho fanatiny izy;
When he realizes that he has committed a sin, he must bring as his offering a male goat that has no defects.
24 ary hametraka ny tànany amin’ ny lohan’ ny osilahy izy, dia hamono azy eo amin’ ny famenoana ny fanatitra dorana eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah; dia fanatitra noho ny ota izany.
He must lay his hands on the goat’s head in the presence of Yahweh and slaughter it at the place where they slaughter {are slaughtered} the animals that will be completely burned [on the altar]. That will be an offering for his sin.
25 Ary hangalan’ ny mpisorona amin’ ny fanondrony ny ran’ ny fanatitra noho ny ota ka hatentiny eo amin’ ny tandroky ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana, ary ny rà sisa dia haidiny eo am-bodin’ ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana;
Then the priest must put some of the animal’s blood [into a bowl] and dip [one of] his fingers in it and put some of the blood on the corners of the projections of the altar. Then he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
26 ary ny saborany rehetra dia hodorany ho fofona eo ambonin’ ny alitara, tahaka ny saboran’ ny fanati-pihavanana ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny fahotany, dia havela ny helony.
Then he must burn all the fat on the altar, as was done with the fat of the offering to maintain good fellowship [with Yahweh]. As a result of the priest’s doing that, the leader will no longer be guilty for his sin and he will be forgiven.
27 Ary raha misy amin’ ny vahoaka manota tsy nahy ka mandika ny anankiray amin’ ny didin’ i Jehovah amin’ izay tsy tokony hatao ka meloka,
‘If one of the Israeli people who is not a priest sins without intending to sin, and does something that is forbidden in any of the commands of Yahweh his God, he will be guilty.
28 ary misy mampahafantatra azy ny fahotany izay nataony, dia hitondra osivavy tsy misy kilema ho fanatiny izy noho’ ny fahotany izay nataony.
When he realizes that he has committed a sin, he must bring as his offering a female goat that has no defects.
29 Ary hametraka ny tànany amin’ ny lohan’ ny fanatitra noho ny ota izy, dia hamono azy eo amin’ ny fitoeran’ ny fanatitra dorana.
He must lay his hands on the goat’s head and slaughter it at the place where they slaughter the animals that will be completely burned [on the altar, and catch some of the blood in a bowl].
30 Ary hangalan’ ny mpisorona amin’ ny fanondrony ny rà ka hatentiny eo amin’ ny tandroky ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana, ary ny rà sisa rehetra dia haidiny eo am-bodin’ ny alitara.
Then the priest must dip [one of] his fingers in the blood, and put some of it on the projections at the corners of the altar. Then he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
31 Ary hesoriny avokoa ny saborany rehetra, tahaka ny fanesorana ny saboran’ ny fanati-pihavanana; ary ny mpisorona handoro azy ho fofona eo ambonin’ ny alitara ho hanitra ankasitrahana ho an’ i Jehovah; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy, dia havela ny helony.
Then he must remove all the goat’s fat, and burn all the fat on the altar, like was done with the fat of the offering to maintain fellowship [with Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. As a result of the priest doing that, the person will no longer be guilty for his sin, and he will be forgiven.
32 Ary raha zanak’ ondry no entiny ho fanatitra noho ny ota, dia ny vavy tsy misy kilema no ho entiny;
‘If that person brings a lamb to be his offering for sin, he must bring a female lamb that has no defects.
33 ary hametraka ny tànany amin’ ny lohan’ ny fanatitra noho ny ota izy, dia hamono azy ho fanatitra noho ny ota eo amin’ ny famonoana ny fanatitra dorana.
He must lay his hands on the lamb’s head and slaughter it at the place where they slaughter the animals that will be completely burned [on the altar, and catch some of the blood in a bowl].
34 Ary hangalan’ ny mpisorona amin’ ny fanondrony ny ran’ ny fanatitra noho ny ota ka hatentiny eo amin’ ny tandroky ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana, ary ny rà sisa rehetra dia haidiny eo am-bodin’ ny alitara.
Then the priest must dip [one of] his fingers in the blood and put some of it on the projections at the corners of the altar. Then he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
35 Ary hesoriny avokoa ny saborany rehetra, tahaka ny fanesorana ny saboran’ ny zanak’ ondry izay natao fanati-pihavanana, ary ny mpisorona handoro azy ho fofona eo ambonin’ ny alitara, ambonin’ ny fanatitra atao amin’ ny afo ho an’ i Jehovah; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny fahotany izay nataony, dia havela ny helony.
Then he must remove all the lamb’s fat, and burn all the fat on the altar, like was done with the fat of the offering to maintain fellowship [with Yahweh]. He must burn it on top of the other offerings to Yahweh that are being burned. As a result, the priest will request God to forgive that person for his sin, and he will be forgiven.’”
