< Levitikosy 27 >
1 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
The Lord told Moses,
2 Mltenena amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely hoe: Raha misy olona hanala voady, dia ho an’ i Jehovah izy araka izay hataonao tombany.
“Tell the Israelites: When you make a special promise to dedicate someone to the Lord, these are the values you are to use.
3 Ary ny hataonao tomban’ ny lehilahy hatramin’ ny roa-polo taona ka hatramin’ ny enim-polo taona dia sekely volafotsy dimam-polo araka ny sekely masìna;
The value of a man aged twenty to sixty is fifty shekels of silver, (using the sanctuary shekel standard).
4 fa raha vehivavy, dia sekely telo-polo kosa no hataonao tombany.
The value of a woman is thirty shekels.
5 Ary raha hatramin’ ny dimy taona ka hatramin’ ny roa-polo taona izy, dia sekely roa-polo no hataonao tomban’ ny lehilahy; ary raha vehivavy, dia sekely folo kosa.
The value of someone aged five to twenty is twenty shekels for a male and ten shekels for a female.
6 Ary raha hatramin’ ny iray volana ka hatramin’ ny dimy taona, dia sekely volafotsy dimy no hataonao tomban’ ny zazalahy; ary sekely volafotsy telo kosa no hataonao tomban’ ny zazavavy.
The value of someone aged one month to five years is five shekels of silver for a male and three shekels of silver for a female.
7 Ary raha hatramin’ ny enim-polo taona no ho miakatra izy, raha lehilahy, dia ho sekely dimy ambin’ ny folo no hataonao tombany; ary raha vehivavy, dia sekely folo kosa.
The value of someone aged sixty or older is fifteen shekels for a male and ten shekels of silver for a female.
8 Ary raha malahelo kosa izy ka tsy mahaloa izay hataonao ho tombany, dia ho entina eo anatrehan’ ny mpisorona izy, ary ny mpisorona hanombana azy; araka izay takatry ny ananan’ ilay nivoady no hanombanan’ ny mpisorona azy.
However, if when you fulfill your promise you are poorer than the fixed value, you are to present the person before the priest, who will then set the value depending on what you can afford.
9 Ary raha biby fiompy izay fanao fanatitra ho an’ i Jehovah, dia ho masìna ho an’ i Jehovah izay rehetra omena amin’ izany.
If when you fulfill your promise you bring an animal that is permitted as an offering to the Lord, the animal given to the Lord shall be considered holy.
10 Tsy hanova na hanakalo izany izy, na ny tsara ho solon’ ny ratsy, na ny ratsy ho solon’ ny tsara; ary raha biby no atakalony biby, dia samy ho masìna Izy sy ny takalony.
You are not allowed to replace it or swap it, either for one that is better or one that is worse. However, if you do replace it then both animals become holy.
11 Fa raha biby maloto izay tsy fanao fanatitra ho an’ i Jehovah kosa izany, dia ho entina eo anatrehan’ ny mpisorona izy;
If when you fulfill your promise you bring any unclean animal that is not permitted as an offering to the Lord, then you must show the animal to the priest.
12 ary ny mpisorona hanombana azy, na tsara, na ratsy; koa araka izay hataonao mpisorona tombany no izy.
The priest will decide its value, whether high or low. Whatever value the priest places on it is final.
13 Fa raha ta-hanavotra azy ny tompony, dia hampiany ho tonga avy fahenina izay nataonao tombany.
If you then decide to buy the animal back, you have to add one fifth to its value in payment.
14 Ary raha misy olona manamasìna ny tranony ho an’ i Jehovah, dia hotombanan’ ny mpisorona ny trano, na tsara, na ratsy; koa araka izay hataon’ ny mpisorona tombany no izy.
If you dedicate your house as holy to the Lord, then the priest will decide its value, whether high or low. Whatever value the priest places on it remains final.
15 Ary raha tian’ ny tompony havotana ny tranony izay nohamasininy, dia hampiany ho tonga avy fahenina ny vola nataonao tombany, dia ho azy ny trano.
But if you want to buy back your house, you have to add one fifth to its value in payment. Then it will belong to you again.
16 Ary raha misy olona manamasìna ho an’ Jehovah ny sasany amin’ ny zara-taniny, dia hotombananao izy araka ny voan-javatra famafy eo; ny voam-bary hordea iray homera hotombananao sekely volafotsy dimam-polo.
If you dedicate some of your land to the Lord, then its value shall be determined by the amount of seed required to sow it: fifty shekels of silver for every homer of barley seed used.
17 Raha misy manamasìna ny taniny, raha vao afaka ny Jobily, dia araka izay hataonao tombany no izy.
If you dedicate your field during the Jubilee Year, the value will be the full amount calculated.
18 Fa raha misy manamasìna ny taniny ao aorian’ ny Jobily, dia holazain’ ny mpisorona aminy ny vola araka ny taona sisa, dia hatramin’ ny taona Jobily, ary hahena araka izany no hanaovanao ny tombany.
But if you dedicate your field after the Jubilee, the priest will work out the value depending on the number of years left until the next Jubilee Year, so reducing the value.
19 Ary raha tian’ ilay nanamasina azy havotana ny tany, dia hampiany ho tonga avy fahenina ny vola nataonao tombany, ka dia ho tapaka ho azy.
But if you want to buy your field back, you have to add one fifth to its value in payment. Then it will belong to you again.
20 Ary raha tsy hanavotra ny tany izy, na efa nivarotra azy tamin’ olon-kafa, dia tsy ho azo avotana intsony izany.
But if you don't buy the field back, or if you've already sold it to someone else, it can't ever be bought back.
21 Fa raha afaka amin’ ny Jobily ny tany, dia ho masìna ho an’ i Jehovah tahaka ny saha voatokana izany; ny mpisorona no ho tompony.
When the Jubilee comes, the field will become holy, in the same way as a field devoted to the Lord. It will become the property of the priests.
22 Ary raha misy manamasìna ho an’ i Jehovah ny tany novidiny, izay tsy amin’ ny zara-taniny,
If you dedicate to the Lord a field you've bought that was not part of your original property,
23 dia holazain’ ny mpisorona aminy ny hevitry ny ataonao tombany, dia hatramin’ ny taona Jobily; ary dia handoa izay nataonao tombany amin’ izany andro izany izy ho zava-masìna ho an’ i Jehovah.
the priest will work out the value until the next Jubilee Year. You will pay on that day the exact value, giving it as a holy offering to the Lord.
24 Amin’ ny taona Jobily no hodian’ ny tany amin’ izay nividianana azy, dia ho an’ izay tompon-dova.
In the Jubilee Year, ownership the field shall revert back to the person you bought it from—to the original owner of the land.
25 Ary ny tombany rehetra izay hataonao dia ho araka ny sekely masìna: ho gera roa-polo ny sekely iray.
(All values will use the sanctuary shekel standard of twenty gerahs to the shekel.)
26 Fa ny voalohan-teraky ny biby fiompy, dia izay voalohan-teraka ho an’ i Jehovah, aoka tsy hisy olona hanamasina izany, na omby, na ondry, na osy, fa an’ i Jehovah izany.
No one is allowed to dedicate the firstborn of the livestock, because the firstborn belong to the Lord. Whether they are cattle, sheep, or goats, they are the Lord's.
27 Fa raha biby maloto kosa, dia havotany araka izay hataonao tombany, ary hampiany ho tonga avy fahenina; fa raha tsy havotana izy, dia hamidy araka izay nataonao tombany.
But if it is an unclean animal, then you can buy it back according to its value, adding on one fifth extra. If it's not bought back, then it is to be sold according to its value.
28 Kanefa ny zavatra rehetra izay atokan’ ny olona ho an’ i Jehovah amin’ izay ananany, na olona, na biby fiompy, na tany izay fananany, dia tsy hamidy, na havotana; masìna dia masìna ho an’ i Jehovah ny zavatra rehetra izay atokana.
Anything that you specially dedicate to the Lord from what you own, whether it's a person, an animal, or your land, can't be sold or bought back. Anything specially dedicated if most holy to the Lord.
29 Ny olona rehetra izay atokana dia tsy havotana, fa hatao maty tokoa.
No one who is specially dedicated to destruction can be bought back. They must be killed.
30 Ary ny ampahafolon’ ny vokatra rehetra ao amin’ ny tany, na avy amin’ ny tanimbary, na avy amin’ ny saha, dia an’ i Jehovah; masìna ho an’ i Jehovah izany.
Tithe from your crops or fruit belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.
31 Ary raha misy tian’ ny tompony havotana ny ampahafolon’ ny vokatra, dia hampiany ho tonga avy fahenina izy.
If you want to buy back some of your tithe, you must add on one fifth to its value.
32 Ary ny amin’ ny ampahafolon’ ny omby, na ny ondry, na ny osy, dia ny ampahafolon’ izay rehetra mandalo eo ambanin’ ny tehin’ ny mpiandry, ho masìna ho an’ i Jehovah.
When you count your herds and flocks, every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd's rod is holy to the Lord.
33 Tsy hizaha ny tsara na ny ratsy izy, ary tsy hanakalo azy; ary raha misy takalozany, dia samy ho masìna avokoa izy sy ny takalony ka tsy havotana.
You must not examine it to see if it's good or bad, and you must not replace it. However, if you do replace it then both animals become holy; they can't be bought back.”
34 Ireo no didy izay nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy ho amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely teo an-tendrombohitra Sinay.
These are the laws the Lord gave to Moses for the Israelites on Mount Sinai.
