Joela 3
1 Fa, indro, amin’ ireo andro ireo sy amin’ izany fotoana izany, raha hampodiko ny Joda sy Jerosalema avy amin’ ny fahababoany,
“For behold, in those days, and in that time, When I turn back [to] the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 Dia hangoniko ny jentilisa rehetra ka ho entiko midìna ao amin’ ny Lohasahan’ i Josafata, ary ao no hifandaharako aminy noho ny amin’ ny Isiraely, oloko sy lovako, izay naeliny tany amin’ ny jentilisa; Ary nozarazarainy ny taniko,
Then I have gathered all the nations, And caused them to go down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, And I have been in judgment with them there, Concerning My people and My inheritance—Israel, Whom they scattered among nations, And My land they have apportioned.
3 Sady nanaovany loka ny oloko, dia zazalahy no nataony takalon’ ny vehivavy janga, ary zazavavy no namidiny divay ka nosotroiny.
And for My people they cast a lot, And they give the young man for a harlot, And have sold the young woman for wine, That they may drink.
4 Ary ianareo koa, ry Tyro sy Sidona, sy ry tany Filistia rehetra, moa mampaninona Ahy akory ianareo? Hamaly Ahy va ianareo, sa hanahoana Ahy? Faingana dia faingana no hanatsingerenako ny nataonareo ho eo an-dohanareo,
And also, what [are] you to Me, O Tyre and Sidon, And all circuits of Philistia? Are you rendering repayment to Me? And if you are giving repayment to Me, Swiftly, quickly, I return your repayment on your head.
5 Noho ny natanareo ny volafotsiko sy ny volamenako, sy ny nitondranareo ny zava-tsoako mahafinaritra ho ao amin’ ny tempolinareo;
In that My silver and My gold you took, And My desirable things that are good, You have brought into your temples.
6 Ary ny zanak’ i Joda sy ny zanak’ i Jerosalema dia namidinareo tamin’ ny zanaky ny Grika, hamindranareo azy hanalavitra ny taniny.
And sons of Judah, and sons of Jerusalem, You have sold to the sons of Javan, To put them far off from their border.
7 Indro, hofohaziko izy hiala ny amin’ ny tany Izay nahaverezany noho ny nahalafosanareo azy, ary hatsingeriko ho eo an-dohanareo ny nataonareo,
Behold, I am stirring them up out of the place To where you have sold them, And I have turned back your repayment on your head,
8 Ka hamidiko ho lasan’ ny zanak’ i Joda kosa ny zanakalahinareo sy ny zanakavavinareo, ary hamidiny amin’ ny Sabeana kosa ireny, dia ho an’ izay firenena lavitra; Fa Jehovah no efa niteny.
And have sold your sons and your daughters Into the hand of the sons of Judah, And they have sold them to Sabeans, To a nation far off, for YHWH has spoken.”
9 Antsoy any amin’ ny jentilisa izany, miantsoa hanao ady masìna, fohazy ny lehilahy mahery, aoka handroso ny mpiady rehetra ka hiakatra;
Proclaim this among nations, Sanctify a war, stir up the mighty ones, Come near, come up, let all the men of war.
10 Tefeo ho sabatra ny fangadinareo, ary ho lefona ny antsinareo fanetezam-boaloboka; Aoka izay kelikely aina hihiaka hoe: Mahery aho!
Beat your plowshares to swords, And your pruning-hooks to javelins, Let the weak say, “I [am] mighty.”
11 Avia faingana, ianareo jentilisa rehetra avy eny manodidina eny, dia ento midìna ao ny maherinao, Jehovah ô.
Hurry, and come in, all you nations around, And be gathered together, There cause to come down, O YHWH, Your mighty ones.
12 Hifoha ny jentilisa ka hiakatra ho ao amin’ ny Lohasahan’ i Josafata; Fa ao no hipetrahako hitsara ny jentilisa rehetra avy eny manodidina eny.
“Let the nations wake and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I sit to judge all the nations around.
13 Arosoy ny fijinjana, fa masaka ny vokatra; Avia ianareo, ka manosihose, fa feno ny famiazam-boaloboka, mihoatra ny vata fanantazana, fa be ny faharatsiany.
Send forth a sickle, For harvest has ripened, Come in, come down, for the press has been filled, Winepresses have overflowed, For great [is] their wickedness.”
14 He izany vahoaka mireondreona ao amin’ ny lohasaha fitsarana! Fa efa antomotra ny andron’ i Jehovah ao amin’ ny lohasaha fitsarana.
Multitudes, multitudes [are] in the Valley of Decision, For near [is] the Day of YHWH in the Valley of Decision.
15 Ny masoandro sy ny volana ho tonga maizina, ary ny kintana tsy hamirapiratra,
Sun and moon have been black, And stars have gathered up their shining.
16 Jehovah mierona ao Ziona, ary mampikotroka ao Jerosalema, ka hihorohoro ny tany aman-danitra; Fa Jehovah no fialofan’ ny olony sy fiarovana mafy ho an’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely.
And YHWH roars from Zion, And gives forth His voice from Jerusalem, And the heavens and earth have shaken, And YHWH [is] a refuge to His people, And a stronghold to sons of Israel.
17 Ary dia ho fantatrareo fa Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo, Izay monina ao Ziona, tendrombohitro masìna; Dia ho masìna Jerosalema, ary ny hafa firenena tsy mba handeha hamaky eo intsony.
“And you have known that I [am] your God YHWH, Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain, And Jerusalem has been holy, And strangers do not pass over into it again.”
18 Amin’ izany andro izany dia hipoipoitra ranom-boaloboka ny tendrombohitra, handriaka ronono ny havoana, ho feno rano ny lohasahan-driak’ i Joda rehetra, ary hisy loharano hivoaka avy ao an-tranon’ i Jehovah ka handena ny lohasahan-driak’ i Sitima.
And it has come to pass in that day, The mountains drop down juice, And the hills flow [with] milk, And all streams of Judah go [with] water, And a fountain from the house of YHWH goes forth, And has watered the Valley of Shittim.
19 Egypta kosa ho tonga tany lao, ary Edoma ho efitra foana, noho ny fampahoriana ny taranak’ i Joda, dia ny nandatsahany rà marina teo amin’ ny taniny.
“Egypt becomes a desolation, And Edom becomes a desolation, a wilderness, For violence [to] sons of Judah, Whose innocent blood they shed in their land.
20 Fa Joda honenana mandrakizay, ary Jerosalema hatramin’ ny taranaka fara mandimby.
And Judah dwells for all time, And Jerusalem to generation and generation.
21 Ary hamaly ny rà marina izay tsy mbola novaliako Aho; Fa Jehovah monina ao Ziona.
And I have declared their blood innocent, [That] I did not declare innocent, And YHWH is dwelling in Zion!”
