< Joba 19 >
1 Dia namaly Joba ka nanao hoe:
Then responded Job, and said: —
2 Mandra-pahoviana no hampalahelovanareo ny fanahiko sy hanorotoroanareo ahy amin’ ny fiteny?
How long will ye grieve my soul? or crush me with words?
3 Efa im-polo izay no nanaratsianareo ahy; Tsy misoroka izay hampahory ahy ianareo.
These ten times, have ye reviled me, Shameless ye wrong me.
4 Ary raha diso tokoa aho, dia izaho ihany no andrian’ ny fa hadisoako.
And even if indeed I have erred, with myself lodgeth mine error.
5 Raha mirehareha amiko kosa ianareo ka mampiaiky ahy ho nanao izay mahamenatra,
If indeed, against me, ye must needs magnify yourselves, and plead, against me, my reproach.
6 Dia aoka ho fantatrareo fa Andriamanitra no efa nampitanondrika ahy ka efa naningotra ahy tamin’ ny fandrika haratony.
Know, then, that, God, hath overthrown me, and, within his net, enclosed me.
7 Indro, miantso mafy aho hoe: Loza! nefa tsy misy mamaly ahy; Mitaraina aho, nefa tsy mahita rariny.
Lo! I cry—out: Violence! but receive no answer, I cry aloud, but there is no vindication;
8 Ny lalako dia nofefeny, ka tsy afa-mandroso aho; ary nasiany maizina teo amin’ ny lalana alehako.
My way, hath he walled up, that I cannot pass, and, upon my paths, hath he made darkness rest;
9 Ny voninahitro nalany tamiko, ary nesoriny ny satro-boninahitra teo an-dohako.
My glory—from off me, hath he stripped, and hath removed the crown of my head;
10 Efa nandrava ahy manodidina Izy, ka efa ho faty aho; Ary efa nofongorany tahaka ny hazo ny fanantenako.
He hath ruined me on every side, and I am gone, and he hath taken away—like a tree—my hope;
11 Dia nampirehetiny tamiko ny fahatezerany, ka nataony ho fahavalony aho.
Yea he hath kindled against me his anger, and accounted me towards him like unto his adversaries;
12 Miara-mandroso ny antokon’ ny miaramilany ary manandratra tovon-tany hamelezany ahy izy ka mitoby manodidina ny laiko.
Together, enter his troops and have cast up, against me, their mound, and have encamped all around my tent;
13 Ny rahalahiko efa nampanalaviriny ahy; Ary ny olona nahazatra ahy efa nihafahafa tamiko avokoa.
My Brethren—from beside me, hath he moved far away, and, mine acquaintance, are wholly estranged from me;
14 Efa tsy misy eto intsony ny havako, ary ny sakaizako efa nanadino ahy.
Failed me, have my near of kin, and, mine intimate acquaintances, have forgotten me;
15 Ny vahiny izay mitoetra ao an-tranoko sy ny ankizivaviko aza samy manao ahy ho olon-kafa; Tonga olon-ko azy eo imasony aho.
Ye guests of my house and my maidens, A stranger, have ye accounted me, An alien, have I become in their eyes;
16 Antsoiko ny mpanompoko, nefa tsy namaly ahy izy; Mifona aminy amin’ ny vavako aho.
To mine own servant, I called, and he would not answer, With mine own mouth, I kept entreating him;
17 Ny fofonaiko mahaloiloy ny vadiko, ary maharikoriko ny zanak’ ineny aho.
My breath, is strange to my wife, and I am loathsome to the sons of my own mother;
18 Eny, ny ankizilahy madinika aza mamingavinga ahy; Raha te-hitsangana aho, dia miteny mamely ahy ireny.
Even young children, despise me, I rise up, and they speak against me;
19 Na dia izay nifankazatra tamiko indrindra aza dia manao ahy ho zava-betaveta, ary izay olon-tiako dia mivadika ho fahavaloko.
All the men of mine intimate circle abhor me, and, these whom I loved, have turned against me;
20 Ny taolako miraikitra amin’ ny hoditro sy ny nofoko, ary ny akanjo-nifiko ihany no hany sisa azoko enti-mandositra.
Unto my skin and unto my flesh, have my bones cleaved, and I have escaped with the akin of my teeth.
21 Mamindrà fo amiko, mamindrà fo amiko ianareo, ry sakaizako ô; fa ny tànan’ Andriamanitra efa mikasika ahy.
Pity me! pity me! ye, my friends, for, the hand of GOD, hath stricken me!
22 Nahoana no manenjika ahy tahaka an’ Andriamanitra koa ianareo ka tsy mety afa-po amin’ ny nofoko?
Wherefore should ye persecute me as GOD? and, with my flesh, should not he satisfied?
23 Enga anie ka ho voasoratra ny teniko! Enga anie ka ho voatomboka eo amin’ ny boky ireny!
Oh, then, that my words, could be written, Oh that, in a record, they could be inscribed:
24 Enga anie ka ho voasoratra amin’ ny vy fanoratana sady voasy firaka eo amin’ ny vatolampy ho mandrakizay izy!
That, with a stylus of iron and [with] lead, for all time—in the rock, they could be graven!
25 Kanefa raha izaho, dia fantatro fa velona ny Mpanavotra ahy, ka hitsangana any am-parany eo ambonin’ ny vovoka Izy.
But, I, know that, my redeemer, liveth, and, as the Last over [my] dust, will he arise;
26 Ary rehefa levona ny hoditro, izao simba izao, sady afaka amin’ ny nofoko aho, dia hahita an’ Andriamanitra;
And, though, after my skin is struck off, this [followeth], yet, apart from my flesh, shall I see GOD:
27 Eny, izaho no hahita Azy, ary ny masoko no hijery, fa tsy olon-kafa. Efa matim-paniriana ny saiko ato anatiko.
Whom, I myself, shall see, on my side, and, mine own eyes, [shall] have looked upon, and not those of a stranger. Exhausted are my deepest desires in my bosom!
28 Raha hoy ianareo: Andeha hanenjika azy fatratra isika. Fa hita ao anatiny ny fototry ny mahameloka azy.
Surely ye should say—Why should we persecute him? seeing, the root of the matter, is found in me.
29 Dia matahora ny sabatra ianareo; Fa ny fahatezerana dia heloka mendrika ny hovalian-tsabatra, mba ho fantatrareo fa misy fitsarana.
Be ye afraid—on your part—of the face of the sword, because, wrath, [bringeth] the punishments of the sword, to the end ye may know the Almighty.
