< Jeremia 52 >
1 Iraika amby roa-polo taona Zedekia, fony izy vao nanjaka, ary iraika ambin’ ny folo taona no nanjakany tany Jerosalema; ary ny anaran-dreniny dia Hamotala, zanakavavin’ i Jeremia avy any Libna.
One and twenty years was Zedekiah old when he became king, and eleven years did he reign in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Chamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
2 Ary nanao izay ratsy eo imason’ i Jehovah izy, araka izay rehetra nataon’ i Joiakima.
And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, in accordance with all that Jehoyakim had done.
3 Fa ny fahatezeran’ i Jehovah no nahatongavan’ izany tamin’ i Jerosalema sy ny Joda ambara-pandroakany azy tsy ho eo anatrehany. Ary Zedekia niodina tamin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona.
For through the anger of the Lord it came to pass against Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out of his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
4 Ary tamin’ ny andro fahafolo tamin’ ny volana fahafolo tamin’ ny taona fahasivy nanjakan’ i Zedekia, dia tonga Nebokadnezara, mpanjakan’ i Babylona, sy ny miaramilany rehetra, hamely an’ i Jerosalema, ka nitoby tandrifiny sady nanao tilikambo manodidina azy izy.
And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and they encamped against it, and built against it works of attack round about.
5 Ary ny tanàna dia nataony fahirano hatramin’ ny fahiraika ambin’ ny folo taona nanjakan’ i Zedekia mpanjaka.
So the city was placed in a state of siege until the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
6 Ary tamin’ ny andro fahasivy tamin’ ny volana fahefatra dia mafy ny mosary tao an-tanàna, fa tsy nisy hanina ho an’ ny olona tompon-tany.
And in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, when the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land:
7 Ary nisy voabanga ny tanàna, dia nandositra alina ny miaramila rehetra ka niala tao an-tanàna tamin’ ny lalana mankamin’ ny vavahady tanelanelan’ ny manda roa, izay eo anilan’ ny sahan’ ny mpanjaka (fa ny Kaldeana nanodidina ny tanàna), ka nandeha tamin’ ny lalana mankeny amin’ ny tani-hay.
The city was broken in, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was near the king's garden; [while the Chaldeans were round about the city; ] and they went by the way of the plain.
8 Ary ny miaramilan’ ny Kaldeana nanenjika ny mpanjaka ka nahatratra an’ i Zedekia teny amin’ ny tani-hay any Jeriko; dia nipariaka nandao azy ny miaramilany rehetra.
But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and they overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho: and all his army was scattered from him.
9 Ary voasambotra ny mpanjaka ka nentiny niakatra ho any amin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona tao Ribla any amin’ ny tany Hamata, ka dia notsaraina tao izy.
And they caught the king, and they brought him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Chamath: and he called him to account.
10 Ary ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona namono ny zanakalahin’ i Zedekia teo imason-drainy; ary ny mpanapaka ny Joda rehetra koa dia novonoiny tao Ribla.
And the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: and also all the princes of Judah did he slaughter in Riblah.
11 Ary nopotsiriny ny mason’ i Zedekia, dia nafatotry ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona tamin’ ny gadra varahina izy ka nentiny nankany Babylona ary nataony tao an-trano-maizina mandra-pahafatiny.
And the eyes of Zedekiah did he blind; and the king of Babylon bound him with brazen fetters, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in the ward-house till the day of his death.
12 Ary tamin’ ny andro fahafolo tamin’ ny volana fahadimy tamin’ ny taona fahasivy ambin’ ny folo nanjakan’ i Nebokadnezara, mpanjakan’ i Babylona, dia tonga tany Jerosalema Nebozaradana, lehiben’ ny mpiambina, mpanompon’ ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona,
And in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, [who] served the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem.
13 ka nandoro ny tranon’ i Jehovah sy ny tranon’ ny mpanjaka mbamin’ ny trano rehetra tany Jerosalema: ny trano lehibe rehetra dia nodorany tamin’ ny afo avokoa.
And he burnt the house of the Lord, and the king's house: and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great men, did he burn with fire:
14 Ary ny manda rehetra manodidina an’ i Jerosalema dia noravan’ ny miaramilan’ ny Kaldeana rehetra, izay nanaraka ny lehiben’ ny mpiambina.
And all the walls of Jerusalem round about did all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, pull down.
15 Ary ny sasany tamin’ ny olona malahelo mbamin’ ny olona sisa tao an-tanàna sy izay efa nandositra nanatona ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona mbamin’ ny vahoaka maro be sisa dia nentin’ i Nebozaradana, lehiben’ ny mpiambina, ho babo avokoa.
And certain of the poorest of the people, and the residue of the people that had been left in the city, and the deserters, that had run away to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away into exile.
16 Nefa ny olona malahelo dia namelan’ i Nebozaradana, lehiben’ ny mpiambina, ihany mba ho mpamboatra tanim-boaloboka sy ho mpiasa tany.
But certain of the poorest of the land did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard leave for vine-dressers and for husbandmen.
17 Ary ireo andry varahina teo amin’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah sy ny fitoeran-tavin-drano sy ny tavin-drano varahina lehibe, izay teo amin’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah, dia novakivakin’ ny Kaldeana, ka nentiny ho any Babylona ny varahina rehetra.
Also the pillars of copper that were in the house of the Lord, and the bases, and the copper sea that was in the house of the Lord, did the Chaldeans break, and they carried off all their copper to Babylon.
18 Ary nentiny koa ny vilany fandraofan-davenona sy ny sotron’ afo sy ny antsy sy ny lovia famafazana sy ny lovia kely mbamin’ ny fanaka varahina rehetra izay nenti-nanao fanompoam-pivavahana.
And the pots, and the shovels, and the knives, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of copper wherewith they used to perform the service, did they take away.
And the basins, and the censers, and the bowls, and the pots, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the purifying-tubes: of what was of gold the gold, and of what was of silver the silver, did the captain of the guard take away.
20 ary ny andry roa sy ny tavin-drano lehibe iray atỳ ny omby varahina roa ambin’ ny folo, Izay teo ambanin’ ny fitoeran-tavin-drano, izay nataon’ i Solomona mpanjaka ho an’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah; ny varahina tamin’ izany fanaka rehetra izany dia tsy hita lanja.
The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve copper oxen that served instead of the bases, which king Solomon had made for the house of the Lord: the copper of all these vessels could not be weighed.
21 Fa ny andry, dia valo ambin’ ny folo hakiho no hahavony, ary roa ambin’ ny folo hakiho ny manodidina azy; ary ny hateviny dia voantondro efatra, fa poakaty izy.
And as regardeth the pillars, eighteen cubits was the height of each one pillar; and a thread of twelve cubits would compass it; and its thickness was four fingers: it was hollow.
22 Ary nisy kapitaly varahina teo aminy; dimy hakiho no hahavon’ ny kapitaly anankiray, ka nisy harato sy ampongabendanitra manodidina ny kapitaly, samy varahina avokoa izy. Ny andry faharoa koa sy ny ampongabendanitra dia mba tahaka izany ihany koa.
And a capital was upon it of copper; and the height of the one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the capital round about, all of copper. And the like was the case with the second pillar and the pomegranates.
23 Ary nisy ampongabendanitra enina amby sivi-folo teo ivelany; ary ny ampongabendanitra rehetra manodidina ny harato dia zato.
And the pomegranates were ninety and six on every side: all the pomegranates upon the network were one hundred round about.
24 Ary ny lehiben’ ny mpiambina nisambotra an’ i Seraia mpisoronabe sy Zefania mpisorona manarakaraka ary mpiandry varavarana telo lahy;
And the captain of the guard took Serayah the chief priest, and Zephanyah the priest second in rank, and the three door-keepers;
25 ary tao an-tanàna no nisamborany ny tandapa anankiray, mpifehy ny miaramila, ary fito lahy tamin’ izay mpitoetra eo anatrehan’ ny mpanjaka, izay hita tao an-tanàna, ary ny mpanoratry ny komandin’ ny miaramila, izay mpandamina ny ho miaramila, sy ny olona tompon-tany enim-polo lahy izay hita teo an-tanàna,
And out of the city he took a certain court-officer, who had the supervision of the men of war: and seven men of those that had free access to the kings presence, who were found in the city; and the scribe of the chief of the army, who ordered to the army the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city;
26 dia nosamborin’ i Nebozaradana, lehiben’ ny mpiambina, ireo ka nentiny ho any amin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona tao Ribla.
And Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and led them away unto the king of Babylon to Riblah.
27 Dia novonoin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona tao Ribla any amin’ ny tany Hamata ireo. Toy izany no nitondrana ny Joda ho babo niala tamin’ ny taniny.
And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Chamath. Thus Judah was carried away into exile out of his own country.
28 Izao no olona izay nentin’ i Nebokadnezara ho babo tamin’ ny taona fahafito, Jiosy telo amby roa-polo sy telo arivo;
This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away into exile: in the seventh year, three thousand and twenty and three Jews;
29 tamin’ ny taona fahavalo ambin’ ny folo nanjakan’ i Nebokadnezara dia roa amby telo-polo amby valon-jato no olona nentiny ho babo avy tany Jerosalema;
In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar from Jerusalem, eight hundred thirty and two persons;
30 tamin’ ny taona fahatelo amby roa-polo nanjakan’ i Nebokadnezara dia Jiosy dimy amby efa-polo amby fiton-jato no nentin’ i Nebozaradana, lehiben’ ny mpiambina, ho babo. Ny tontalin’ izy rehetra dia enin-jato amby efatra arivo.
In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away into exile of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons; all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.
31 Ary tamin’ ny andro fahadimy amby roa-polo tamin’ ny volana faharoa ambin’ ny folo tamin’ ny taona fahafito amby telo-polo taorian’ ny namaboana an’ i Joiakina, mpanjakan’ ny Joda, tamin’ ny taona vao nanjakan’ i Evila-merodaka, mpanjakan’ i Babylona, dia nasandrany hiala tao an-trano-maizina Joiakina, mpanjakan’ ny Joda.
And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the exile of Jehoyachin the king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the five and twentieth day of the month that Evil-merodach the king of Babylon in the [first] year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoyachin the king of Judah, and brought him forth out of the prison-house;
32 Dia nitenenany soa izy, ka ny seza fiandrianany dia nataony ambony noho ny seza fiandrianan’ ireo mpanjaka namany tao Babylona.
And he spoke kindly with him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,
33 Ka dia novan’ i Joiakina ny fitafiany fony izy mbola tao an-trano-maizina; ary nihinan-kanina teo anatrehany mandrakariva izy tamin’ ny andro niainany rehetra.
And he changed his prison-garments: and he ate bread before him continually all the days of his life.
34 Ary ny hanina nohaniny dia hanina homena avy amin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona, araka ny tokony ho anjarany isan’ andro isan’ andro tamin’ ny andro rehetra niainany mandra-pahafatiny.
And his allowance was a continual allowance given him by the king, the necessary ration for the day on its day, until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
