Isaia 62
1 Tsy hangina Aho noho ny amin’ i Ziona, Ary tsy hitsaha-miteny Aho noho ny amin’ i Jerosalema, mandra-piposaky ny fahamarinany tahaka ny famirapiratry ny mazava, ary ny famonjena azy tahaka ny fanilo mirehitra.
For Zions sake I will not holde my tongue, and for Ierusalems sake I wil not rest, vntil the righteousnes thereof breake foorth as the light, and saluation thereof as a burning lampe.
2 Ny firenena hahita ny fahamarinanao, ary ny mpanjaka rehetra hahita ny voninahitrao; dia homena anaram-baovao ianao, Izay hotononin’ ny vavan’ i Jehovah;
And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousnesse, and all Kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3 Ka dia ho tonga satro-boninahitra eo an-tànany ianao sy satrok’ andriana eo am-pelatanan’ Andriamanitrao.
Thou shalt also be a crowne of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royall diademe in the hand of thy God.
4 Hianao tsy hatao intsony hoe nafoy, ary ny taninao tsy hatao intsony hoe Lao fa ianao hatao hoe Ilay sitrako, ary ny taninao hatao hoe Vady ampakarina; Fa sitrak’ i Jehovah ianao, ary ny taninao hampanambadina.
It shall no more be sayd vnto thee, Forsaken, neither shall it be said any more to thy land, Desolate, but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord deliteth in thee, and thy land shall haue an husband.
5 Fa tahaka ny zatovo mampakatra virijina ho vadiny no hampakaran’ ny mponina aminao anao; ary tahaka ny fifalian’ ny mpampakatra amin’ ny ampakariny no hifalian’ Andriamanitrao aminao.
For as a yong man marieth a virgine, so shall thy sonnes marry thee: and as a bridegrome is glad of the bride, so shall thy God reioyce ouer thee.
6 Efa nanendry mpiambina ho eny ambonin’ ny mandanao Aho, ry Jerosalema ô, koa mandrakariva na andro na alina dia tsy mahazo mangìna ireny; eny, ianareo izay mpampahatsiaro an’ i Jehovah, aza mitsahatra;
I haue set watchmen vpon thy walles, O Ierusalem, which all the day and all the night continually shall not cease: ye that are mindfull of the Lord, keepe not silence,
7 Ary aza mamela Azy hitsahatra mandra-panaony an’ i Jerosalema ho mafy orina sy hoderaina amin’ ny tany.
And giue him no rest, till hee repaire and vntill hee set vp Ierusalem the prayse of the worlde.
8 Jehovah efa nianiana tamin’ ny tànany ankavanana, dia tamin’ ny sandriny mahery, hoe: Tsy homeko hohanin’ ny fahavalonao intsony ny varinao, ary ny hafa firenena tsy hisotro ny ranom-boalobokao izay efa nisasaranao;
The Lord hath sworne by his right hand and by his strong arme, Surely I wil no more giue thy corne to be meate for thine enemies, and surely the sonnes of the strangers shall not drinke thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured.
9 Fa izay nijinja azy no hihinana azy ka hidera an’ i Jehovah; ary izay nioty azy no hisotro azy ao amin’ ny kianjako masìna.
But they that haue gathered it, shall eate it, and prayse the Lord, and the gatherers thereof shall drinke it in the courtes of my Sanctuarie.
10 Mivoaha, mivoaha amin’ ny vavahady, amboary ny lalana halehan’ ny olona; asandrato ho avo ny lalambe; esory ny vato eny aminy; manangàna faneva ho tazan’ ny firenena.
Go through, go through the gates: prepare you the way for the people: cast vp, cast vp the way, and gather out the stones and set vp a standart for the people.
11 Indro, Jehovah efa nanambara hatrany amin’ ny faran’ izao tontolo izao nanao hoe: Lazao amin’ i Ziona zanakavavy: Indro, avy ny famonjena anao; Indro; ny valim-pitia hatolony dia ao aminy, ary ny valin’ asa homeny dia eo anoloany.
Beholde, the Lord hath proclaimed vnto the endes of the world: tell the daughter Zion, Beholde, thy Sauiour commeth: beholde, his wages is with him, and his worke is before him.
12 Ary Ireny hotononina hoe Firenena masìna, dia olona navotan’ i Jehovah; ary ianao dia hatao hoe Ilay notadiavina, Tanàna tsy foy.
And they shall call them, The holy people, the redeemed of the Lord, and thou shalt be named, A citie sought out and not forsaken.
