Isaia 54
1 Mihobia, ry momba, ianao izay tsy niteraka, eny, velomy ny hoby, ka manandrata feo, ianao izay tsy mba nihetsi-jaza; fa ny zanaky ny mpitondra tena dia maro noho ny zanaky ny manambady, hoy Jehovah.
Shout in triumph, O barren one, Who hadst not borne, —Break forth into shouts of triumph—and trill thy voice, Who hadst not travailed in birth, For, more, are the children of the Desolate Than the children of Her who had the husband, Saith Yahweh.
2 Halalaho ny itoeran’ ny lainao, ary aoka hohenjanina ny ambain-dainao, ka aza avela hisy hiketrona; halavao ny kofehinao, ary aoreno mafy ny tsima-dainao;
Enlarge the space of thy tent And the curtains of thy habitations, let them spread forth do not spare, —Lengthen thy cords, And thy tent-pins, make thou fast;
3 Fa hitatra any amin’ ny ankavanana sy any amin’ ny ankavia ianao, ary ny taranakao hahazo ny jentilisa, ka dia hasiany mponina ny tanàna lao.
For, on the right hand and on the left, shalt thou break forth, —And thy seed, shall of the nations, take possession, And forsaken cities, shall they cause to be inhabited.
4 Aza matahotra, fa tsy ho menatra ianao; ary aza mangaihay, fa tsy havela ho afa-baraka ianao; fa ho hadinonao ny henatry ny fahatanoranao, ary tsy ho tsaroanao intsony ny tondromasonao fony mpitondratena.
Do not fear for thou shalt not turn pale, Neither feel disgraced for thou shalt not be put to the blush, —For, the shame of thy youth, shalt thou forget, And the reproach of thy widowhood, shalt thou remember no more;
5 Fa ny Mpanao anao no Vadinao, Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, no anarany; Ary ny Iray Masin’ ny Isiraely no Mpanavotra anao, Andriamanitry ny tany rehetra no anarany.
For, thy husband, is, thy Maker, Yahweh of hosts, is his Name, —And, thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, The God of all the earth, shall he be called.
6 Fa Jehovah efa nampody anao, izay tahaka ny vady efa nafoy ka ory am-panahy, ary tahaka ny vady efa novadina hatry ny fony mbola tanora, fa efa napetraka, hoy Andriamanitrao.
For, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, hath Yahweh called thee, —Even the wife of youthful days, in that thou wast rejected saith thy God.
7 Indray mipi-maso monja no nahafoizako anao; fa amin’ ny indrafo lehibe kosa no ampodiako anao.
For a small moment, I forsook thee, —But, with abounding compassions, do I embrace thee:
8 Tamin’ ny firehetan’ ny fahatezerako no nanafenako ny tavako taminao indray mipi-maso monja, fa amin’ ny famindram-po mandrakizay kosa no amindrako fo aminao, hoy Jehovah, Mpanavotra anao.
In an overflow of vexation, I hid my face for a moment, from thee, But, with lovingkindness age-abiding, have I had compassion on thee, —saith thy Redeemer Yahweh.
9 Fa amiko izany dia tahaka ilay ranon’ i Noa, ka toy ny nianianako fa tsy hanafotra ny tany intsony ilay ranon’ i Noa. Dia toy izany no ianianako fa tsy ho tezitra aminao na hiteny mafy anao intsony Aho.
For, the waters of Noah, is this unto me, —As to which I sware that the waters of Noah should not again pass over the earth, So have I sworn Not to be vexed with thee Nor to rebuke thee.
10 Fa na dia hifindra aza ny tendrombohitra ary na dia hihetsika aza ny havoana, tsy mba hiala aminao ny famindram-peko, ary tsy hitsoaka ny faneken’ ny fihavanako, hoy Jehovah, Mpamindra fo aminao.
For, the mountains, may move away, And the hills, may be shaken, —But, my lovingkindness, from thee, shall not move away, And, my covenant of peace, shall not be shaken, saith he who hath compassion upon thee—Yahweh.
11 Hianao, ry ory izay afotofoton’ ny tafiodrivotra sady tsy manana fampiononana, indro, Izaho handatsaka ny vatonao amin’ ny antimony sy hanorina ny fanambaninao amin’ ny safira,
O thou humbled one storm-tossed, uncomforted, —Lo! I, am about to set in antimony, thy stones, And will found thee in sapphires;
12 Hataoko robina ny tilikambo madinikao, sy karbonkolo ny vavahadinao, ary vato soa ny faritaninao manodidina.
And make rubies, thy battlements, And thy gates, sparkling stones, —And, all thy boundaries, stones of delight;
13 Ary ny zanakao rehetra dia ho samy efa nampianarin’ i Jehovah, ka dia ho be ny fiadanan’ ny zanakao.
And, all thy children, shall be the instructed of Yahweh, —And, great, shall be the prosperity of thy children.
14 Amin’ ny fahamarinana no hampiorenana anao; aza manahy ny fampahoriana, fa tsy hatahotra ianao, na ny fampahatahorana, fa tsy hanakaiky anao izany.
In righteousness, shalt thou be established, —Be thou far from oppression—But indeed thou shalt not fear, And from crushing calamity—But indeed it shall not come nigh unto thee.
15 Na dia misy miara-mioko aza, dia tsy avy amiko izany; ary na iza na iza miara-mioko hamely anao dia ho tonga hiandany aminao kosa.
Lo! they would, quarrel, with thee—not at all from me, —Whoso hath quarrelled with thee, over thee, shall fall.
16 Indro, Izaho no nahary ny mpanefy izay mifofotra ny afo amin’ ny arina ka mahavita fiasana hanaovany ny asany; Ary Izaho koa no nahary ny mpandringana mba handringana.
Lo! I, have created the smith, who bloweth up a fire of coals, And who bringeth forth an instrument for his work, —And, I, have created the waster to destroy:
17 Ny fiadiana rehetra izay voaforona hamelezana anao dia tsy hisy hambinina, ary ny lela rehetra izay miady aminao dia horesenao lahatra. Izany no lovan’ ny mpanompon’ i Jehovah sy fahamarinany avy amiko, hoy Jehovah.
No instrument formed against thee, shall prosper, And every tongue that riseth against thee in judgment, shalt thou prove to be lawless, —This is the inheritance of the servants of Yahweh. And, their righteousness, is from me, Declareth Yahweh.
