< Isaia 52 >

1 Mifohaza, mifohaza, tafio ny herinao, ry Ziona ô; tafio ny fitafianao tsara tarehy, ry Jerosalema ô, tanàna masìna; fa tsy hiditra any aminao intsony ny tsy voafora sy ny maloto.
Awake, awake, Put on thy strength, O Zion, —Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem—thou holy city, For there shall not again come into thee any more the uncircumcised and unclean.
2 Ahintsano ny vovoka hiala amin’ ny tenanao, ka mitsangàna, ary mipetraha, ry Jerosalema ô; vahao ny fatorana amin’ ny tendanao, ry Ziona, zanakavavy babo.
Shake thyself from the dust arise—sit down O Jerusalem, —Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive! daughter of Zion!
3 Fa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Tsy vola tsy harena no nivarotana anareo, ka dia tsy vola tsy harena koa no hanavotana anareo.
For, thus, saith Yahweh, For nought, ye sold yourselves, —And not with silver, shall ye be redeemed,
4 Fa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Tany Egypta no nidinan’ ny oloko tamin’ ny voalohany mba hivahiny tany; Ary ny Asyriana koa nampahory azy tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana.
For, thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, To Egypt, went down my people at first to sojourn there, —But, Assyria, without cause, hath oppressed him.
5 Ary ankehitriny inona no hataoko eto? hoy Jehovah, fa nobaboina tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana ny oloko; ny mpanapaka azy dia manakora, hoy Jehovah; ary mandrakariva dia hamavoina mandritra ny andro ny anarako.
Now, therefore, what do I here? Demandeth Yahweh. That my people have been taken away for nought? They who rule them, do howl, Declareth Yahweh, And, continually—all the day, is my Name brought into contempt.
6 Koa ny oloko dia hahalala ny anarako; Eny, amin’ izany andro izany dia ho fantany fa Izaho no miteny hoe: Inty Aho.
Therefore, shall my people acknowledge my Name: Therefore, in that day, shall they acknowledge that, I, am the same, even I who am speaking, —Here, I am,
7 Akory ny hatsaran’ ny tongotr’ iry mitondra teny soa mahafaly erỳ an-tendrombohitra sady mitory fiadanana! Dia izay mitondra teny soa mahafaly sady mitory famonjena, eny, izay manao amin’ i Ziona hoe: Mpanjaka Andriamanitrao!
How beautiful, upon the mountains are the feet—Of him That bringeth good tidings, That publisheth peace, That bringeth good tidings of blessing, That publisheth salvation, —That saith unto Zion, Thy God, hath become king.
8 Injany ny feon’ ny mpitilinao! Manandratra ny feony izy ka miara-mihoby; fa ho faly izy mahita mifanatri-maso ny hodian’ i Jehovah ho any Ziona.
The voice of thy watchmen! They have uplifted a voice Together, do they renew the shout of triumph, —For eye to eye, shall they see, When Yahweh returneth to Zion.
9 Velomy ny hoby, ry fitoeran-drava any Jerosalema; Fa Jehovah efa nampionona ny olony sady efa nanavotra an’ i Jerosalema.
Break forth, shout in triumph together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, —For Yahweh Hath comforted his people, Hath redeemed Jerusalem:
10 Jehovah efa nampiseho ny sandriny masìna teo imason’ ny firenena rehetra; ary ny faran’ ny tany rehetra hahita ny famonjen’ Andriamanitsika.
Yahweh hath bared his holy arm, in the eyes of all the nations, So shall all the ends of the earth see the salvation of our God.
11 Mialà, mialà ianareo, mivoaha, aza mikasika izay maloto, mivoaha avy eo aminy; madiova, ianareo izay mitondra ny fanak’ i Jehovah.
Away! away! come, forth from thence!—Nought unclean, may ye touch, —Come forth out of her midst, Purify yourselves, ye who are to carry the vessels of Yahweh;
12 Fa tsy tampoka no hivoahanareo, ary tsy lositra no handehananareo; fa Jehovah no hitarika anareo eo aloha, ary Andriamanitry ny Isiraely no ho vodi-lalanareo.
For, not in haste, shall ye come forth, Nor, by flight, shall ye journey, —For, your van-guard, is Yahweh, And, your rear-guard, the God of Israel.
13 Indro, ny Mpanompoko ho hita ho hendry, hisandratra sy ho ambony Izy ka ho avo indrindra.
Lo! my Servant, prospereth, —He riseth, and is lifted up, and becometh very high:
14 Fa toy ny nigagan’ ny maro Anao (Ny tarehiny dia simba ka hoatra ny tsy tarehin’ olombelona akory, ary ny endriny hoatra ny tsy endriky ny zanak’ olombelona),
The more that Many, were amazed at thee, So marred, beyond any man’s, was his appearance, —And his form, beyond the sons of men,
15 Dia toy izany no hampihendratrendratany ny firenena maro; ny mpanjaka hitampim-bava aminy; fa izay tsy mbola nolazaina tamin’ ireny no ho hitany, ary izay tsy mbola reny akory no hosaintsaininy.
The more doth he startle Many nations, Before him, have kings closed their mouth, —For, that which had not been related to them, have they seen, And that which they had not heard, haw they diligently considered.
