< Isaia 51 >
1 Mihanoa Ahy, ianareo izay miezaka mitady fahamarinana, dia izay mitady an’ i Jehovah: Tsarovy ny vatolampy izay nakana anareo sy ny ati-lavaka izay nihadiana anareo.
Hearken unto me, Ye that pursue righteousness, Ye that seek Yahweh, —Look well unto the rock whence ye were hewn, And unto the quarry whence ye were digged:
2 Eny, tsarovy Abrahama rainareo sy Saraha, izay niteraka anareo; fa fony mbola tokana izy, dia nantsoiko sy notahiko ary nohamaroiko.
Look well unto Abraham your father, And unto Sarah who gave you birth, —For he was, alone, when called I him, And, I blessed him that I might make him, many.
3 Fa Jehovah mampionona an’ i Ziona; Eny, mampionona izay rava rehetra ao Izy Ka manao ny efitra ao ho tahaka an’ i Edena. Ary ny tany foana ao ho tahaka ny sahan’ i Jehovah; Hafaliana sy haravoana no hita ao mbamin’ ny fisaorana sy ny feo fiderana.
For Yahweh hath comforted Zion, He hath comforted all her waste places, And hath made her wilderness like Eden, And her waste plain like the garden of Yahweh, —Joy and gladness, shall be found in her, Thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
4 Mihainea Ahy, ry vahoakako, ary atongilano amiko ny sofinareo, ry oloko; fa hisy lalàna hivoaka avy amiko, ary ny fitsipiko dia hampitoeriko ho fanazavana ny firenena.
Attend unto me, O my people, And, O, my nation unto me give ear, —For, instruction, from me, shall go forth, And, my justice—for a light of peoples, will I establish:
5 Akaiky ny fahamarinako, efa nivoaka ny famonjeko, ary ny sandriko no hitsara ny firenena; izaho no hantenain’ ny nosy, ary ny sandriko no andrasany.
At hand is my righteousness. Gone forth hath my salvation, And, mine own arms, unto the peoples, shall give justice, —Upon me, Coastlands, shall wait, And for mine arm, shall they hope.
6 Andrandrao ho amin’ ny lanitra ny masonareo, ary jereo ny tany ambany; fa ny lanitra ho levona tahaka ny setroka, ary tany ho tahaky ny lamba mangarahara, ary ny mponina ao dia ho faty tampoka; fa ny famonjena kosa haharitra mandrakizay, ary ny fahamarinako tsy mba ho rava.
Lift up—to the heavens—your eyes, And look around to the earth beneath Though, the heavens, like smoke, should have vanished And, the earth, like a garment, should fall to pieces, And, her inhabitants, in like manner, should die, Yet, my salvation, unto times age-abiding, shall continue, And, my righteousness, shall not be broken down.
7 Mihainoa ahy, ianareo izay mahalala ny fahamarinana, dia ianao, ry firenena izay manana ny lalàko ao am-ponao; aza matahotra ny latsa ataon’ ny zanak’ olombelona, na manahy noho ny faharatsiany.
Hearken unto me ye who discern righteousness, The people in whose heart is my law, —Do not fear the reproach of frail men, Nor at their revilings, be dismayed;
8 Fa ny kalalao hihinana azy tahaka ny fihinan-damba, ary lolo fotsy hihinana azy tahaka ny fihinam-bolon’ ondry; fa ny fahamarinako haharitra mandrakizay, ary famonjena hihatra amin’ ny taranaka fara-mandimby.
For like a garment, shall they be eaten of the moth, And like wool, shall they be eaten of the larva; But, my righteousness, unto times age-abiding shall continue, And, my salvation, unto the remotest generation.
9 Mifohaza, mifohaza, ry sandrin’ i Jehovah, mitafia hery! Mifohaza tahaka ny tamin’ ny andro fahiny! dia tamin’ ny taranaka lasa ela. Tsy Hianao va Ilay nitetitetika an-dRahaba sy nitomboka ny dragona?
Awake, awake put on strength, O arm of Yahweh, Awake, As in days of old, The generations of bygone ages: Art not thou that which—Hewed down Rahab, Piercing the Crocodile?
10 Tsy Hianao va Ilay nahamaina ny ranomasina, dia ny rano ao amin’ ny lalina indrindra, ka nanao ny ranomasina lalina ho lalana halehan’ ny navotana?
Art not thou that which dried up—The Sea, The waters of the mighty Deep, —That which made of the abysses of the sea a road for the passing over of the redeemed?
11 Eny, ny navotan’ i Jehovah hiverina ka hankany Ziona amin’ ny fihobiana, ary ny fifaliana mandrakizay no ho eny an-dohany; hahazo fifaliana mandrakizay no ho eny an-dohany; hahazo fifaliana faharavoravoana izy, ka dia handositra ny alahelo sy ny fisentoana.
Therefore, the ransomed of Yahweh, shall again come unto Zion, with shouts of triumph, With gladness age-abiding on their head, —Joy, and gladness, shall overtake [them]. Sorrow and sighing have fled away.
12 Izaho dia Izaho no mpampionona anareo, koa nahoana ianao no dia matahotra ny zanak’ olombelona mety maty sy ny zanak’ olona hatao tahaka ny ahitra
I—I, am he that comforteth you, —Who art, thou, that thou hast feared Frail man that dieth, and A son of the earthborn, who, as grass, shall be delivered up?
13 ka manadino an’ i Jehovah, Mpanao anao, izay namelatra ny lanitra sy nanorina ny tany, sady matahotra lalandava mandritra ny andro ianao noho ny fahatezeran’ ny mpampahory, raha mikendry hamono izy? Fa aiza intsony izay fahatezeran’ ny mpampahory?
That thou hast forgotten Yahweh thy maker, Who stretched out the heavens And founded the earth? That thou hast dreaded continually, all the day, by reason of the fury of the oppressor, in that he was ready to destroy? Where then is the fury of the oppressor?
14 Izay mitanondrika dia ho afaka faingana; Tsy ho faty havarina ao an-davaka izy ary tsy ho diso hanina.
The captive hath hastened to be loosed, —That he might not die in the pit. Neither should, his bread, be cut off.
15 Fa Izaho Jehovah no Andriamanitrao, Izay mampanonja ny ranomasina, ka dia mirohondrohona ny onjany; Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, no anarako.
But, I—Yahweh, am thy God, Who threw into commotion the sea And the waves thereof roared, —Yahweh of hosts, is his name.
16 Ary nataoko eo am-bavanao ny teniko, ary ao amin’ ny aloky ny tanako no nanaronako anao, hanao ny lanitra sy hanorina ny tany Aho ary hanao an’ i Ziona hoe: Oloko ianao.
Therefore have I put my words in thy mouth, And with the shadow of my hand, have I covered thee, —To plant the heavens, and To lay the foundations of the earth, and To say unto Zion My people, thou art!
17 Mifohaza, mifohaza, mitsangana, ry Jerosalema ô, izay efa nisotro ny kapoaky ny fahatezerana avy tamin’ ny tànan’ i Jehovah; eny, ny kapoaka gobilia mampiraikiraiky dia efa nisotroanao, ka notrohinao mbamin’ ny faikany.
Rouse thee—rouse, thee stand up, O Jerusalem, Who hast drunk, at the hand of Yahweh, his cup of indignation: The goblet-cup of confusion, hast thou drunk—hast thou drained.
18 Tsy misy mitondra azy ny zananilahy rehetra izay naterany; ary tsy misy mitantana azy ny zananilahy rehetra izay notezainy.
There is none to guide her, Among all the sons she hath borne, —There is none to grasp her hand, Among all the sons she hath brought up.
19 Izao zavatra roa Izao no hanjo anao (Iza no hanony ny alahelonao?): Fandravana sy fandringanana ary mosary sy sabatra, koa hataoko ahoana no fampionona anao?
Twain, are the things befalling thee, Who will lament for thee? Wasting and destruction and famine and sword By whom shall I comfort thee?
20 Ny zanakao-lahy efa reraka, ka miapokapoka eny an-joron-dalambe rehetra eny izy, tahaka ny diera ao anatin’ ny fandrika harato eny, tahaka ny olona rakotry ny fahatezeran’ i Jehovah sy ny teny mafy ataon’ Andriamanitrao.
Thy sons, have fainted, They lie at the head of all the streets like a gazelle in a net, —Who, indeed, are full of The indignation of Yahweh The rebuke of thy God.
21 Koa mihainoa izao, ianao ry ilay ory sady mamo tsy amin-divay:
Therefore, hear, I pray thee, this, thou humbled one, —And drunken but not with wine: —
22 Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tomponao, dia Andriamanitrao, Izay mandaha-teny ho an’ ny olony: Indro, esoriko eny an-tananao ny kapoaka mampiraikiraiky, dia ny kapoaka gobilian’ ny fahatezerako; Tsy hisotroanao intsony iny,
Thus, saith Thy Lord, Yahweh, Even thy God who pleadeth the cause of his people: —Lo! I have taken, out of thy hand, the cup of confusion, —As for the goblet-cup of mine indignation, Thou shalt not again drink it, any more;
23 Fa hataoko eo an-tànan’ izay mampahory anao kosa, dia izay efa nilaza taminao hoe: Miankohofa mba hohitsahinay, ka dia nataonao ho tahaka ny tany ny tenanao sy ho tahaka ny lalambe ho an’ izay mandeha eo.
But I will put it into the hand of thy tormentors, Who said to thy soul, Bow down that we may pass over, —And so thou didst place as the ground, thy back, Yea as the street to such as were passing along.
