< Isaia 50 >
1 Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Aiza izay taratasy fisaoram-bady nisaorako an-dreninareo? Ary iza amin’ izay manan-trosa amiko no nivarotako anareo? Tsia, fa noho ny helokareo ihany no nivarotana anareo, ary noho ny fahadisoanareo ihany no nisaorana an-dreninareo.
Thus saith the LORD, Where [is] the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors [is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
2 Nahoana no tsy nisy olona, fony tonga Aho, ary tsy nisy namaly, fony niantso Aho? Moa fohy tokoa va ny tanako ka tsy mahavonjy, ary moa tsy manan-kery ho enti-manafaka va Aho? Indro, amin’ ny teny mafy ataoko no andritako ny ranomasina sy anaovako ny ony ho efitra; ary maimbo ny hazandranony noho ny tsi-fisian’ ny rano sady matin-ketaheta.
Why, when I came, [was there] no man? when I called, [was there] none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish becometh putrid, because [there is] no water, and dieth for thirst.
3 Tafiako fahamaintisana ny lanitra, ary lamba fisaonana no ataoko fisaronany.
I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
4 Jehovah Tompo nanome Ahy ny lelan’ ny efa mahay, mba hahaizako manao teny hampahatanjaka izay reraka; ampandrenesiny isa-maraina isa-maraina, eny, ampandrenesiny ny sofiko hihaino tahaka ny efa mahay
The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth my ear to hear as the learned.
5 Jehovah Tompo nanokatra ny sofiko, ary Izaho tsy naditra na nihemotra.
The LORD GOD opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
6 Ny lamosiko natolotro ho amin’ ny mpikapoka, ary ny takolako ho amin’ izay manongobaoka; ny tavako tsy nafeniko tamin’ ny henatra sy ny rora.
I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7 Fa Jehovah Tompo no hamonjy Ahy, ka dia tsy resin-kenatra Aho; Ary efa nohamafisiko ho tahaka ny afovato ny tavako, ka fantatro fa tsy ho menatra Aho.
For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
8 Efa akaiky Izay manamarina Ahy: Iza no hiady amiko? Andeha hiara-mitsangana isika; iza no manana ady amiko? Aoka izy ho avy amiko.
[He is] near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together; who [is] my adversary? let him come near to me.
9 Indro, Jehovah Tompo no hamonjy ahy; koa iza no hanameloka ahy? Indro, izy rehetra ho tonga tahaka ny lamba mangarahara, ho lanin’ ny kalalao izy.
Behold the Lord GOD will help me; who [is] he [that] shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
10 Iza aminareo no matahotra an’ i Jehovah ka mihaino ny feon’ ny Mpanompony? Na iza na iza mandeha amin’ ny maizina ka tsy manana fahazavana, aoka izy hatoky ny anaran’ i Jehovah sy hiankina amin’ Andriamaniny.
Who [is] among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh [in] darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and rely upon his God.
11 He! ianareo rehetra izay mampirehitra afo sy mifehy kilalaon’ afo manodidina anareo, mandehana amin’ ny lelafonareo sy amin’ ny zana-tsipìka misy afo, izay narehitrareo. Izao no hanjo anareo avy amin’ ny tanako: Handry amin’ ny fahoriana ianareo.
Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that encompass [yourselves] with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks [that] ye have kindled. This shall ye have of my hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
