Isaia 46
1 Mangozohozo Bela, efa miraika Nebo, ny sampiny dia nampitondraina ny biby folahina sy ny biby fiompy; Ny zavatra fitondranareo dia asampy ka tonga enta-mavesatra entin’ ireo biby reraka.
Bowed down hath Bel, stooping is Nebo, Their idols have been for the beast and for cattle, Your burdens are loaded, a burden to the weary.
2 Miraika sy mangozohozo avokoa izy, ka tsy mahavonjy ny entana akory; Fa na dia ny tenany aza dia lasan-ko babo koa.
They have stooped, they have bowed together, They have not been able to deliver the burden, And themselves into captivity have gone.
3 Mihainoa Ahy, ry taranak’ i Jakoba sy izay sisa rehetra amin’ ny taranak’ Isiraely, izay nobabena hatrany an-kibo sy nentina hatrany am-bohoka:
Hearken unto Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of Israel, Who are borne from the belly, Who are carried from the womb,
4 Na dia mandra-pahantitrareo aza, dia tsy miova Aho, ary mandra-pahafotsy volonareo, dia Izaho ihany no hisahirana mitondra anareo. Izaho no nanao, ka Izaho ihany no hitrotro, eny, izaho no hitondra sy hanafaka.
Even to old age I [am] He, and to grey hairs I carry, I made, and I bear, yea, I carry and deliver.
5 Hampitovinareo amin’ iza moa Aho, sy amin’ iza no hanoharanareo Ahy ary iza no hataonareo ho tahaka Ahy mba hitahany amiko?
To whom do ye liken Me, and make equal? And compare Me, that we may be like?
6 Izay mandraraka volamena avy ao an-kitapo sy mandania volafotsy amin’ ny mizana dia manakarama mpanefy volamena mba hanao izany ho andriamanitra, hiankohofany sy hivavahany.
— They are pouring out gold from a bag, And silver on the beam they weigh, They hire a refiner, and he maketh it a god, They fall down, yea, they bow themselves.
7 Dia betainy ho eny an-tsorony iny ka entiny ary apetrany eo amin’ ny fitoerany iny, ka dia mitoetra eo; Tsy mahay miala eo amin’ ny fitoerany iny; ary na dia misy mitaraina aminy aza, dia tsy mahay mamaly izy, na mahavonjy azy amin’ ny fahoriany.
They lift him up on the shoulder, They carry him, and cause him to rest in his place, And he standeth, from his place he moveth not, Yea, one crieth unto him, and he answereth not, From his adversity he saveth him not.
8 Tsarovy izany ka mahereza ianareo eritrereto tsara izany, ry mpiodina.
Remember this, and shew yourselves men, Turn [it] back, O transgressors, to the heart.
9 Tsarovy ny zavatra taloha izay efa lasa ela; Fa Izaho no Andriamanitra, ka tsy misy hafa; Izaho no Andriamanitra, ka tsy misy tahaka Ahy,
Remember former things of old, For I [am] Mighty, and there is none else, God — and there is none like Me.
10 Izay manambara ny farany hatramin’ ny voalohany, ary nanambara hatramin’ ny ela izay tsy mbola natao akory, dia ilay manao hoe: Ho tò ny fikasako, ary hefaiko ny sitrapoko rehetra,
Declaring from the beginning the latter end, And from of old that which hath not been done, Saying, 'My counsel doth stand, And all My delight I do.'
11 Izay miantso vorona mpihaza avy any atsinanana, dia lehilahy avy any an-tany lavitra hahefa ny fikasako; sady efa niteny izany Aho no hahatanteraka azy koa, sady nikasa Aho no hahefa azy.
Calling from the east a ravenous bird, From a far land the man of My counsel, Yea, I have spoken, yea, I bring it in, I have formed [it], yea, I do it.
12 Mihainoa Ahy ianareo madi-po izay lavitra ny fahamarinana:
Hearken unto Me, ye mighty in heart, Who are far from righteousness.
13 Hampanatoniko ny fahamarinako, ka tsy ho lavitra intsony; ary ny famonjeko tsy hitaredretra; fa hametraka famonjena ao Ziona Aho sy ny voninahitro ho an’ ny Isiraely.
I have brought near My righteousness, It is not far off, And My salvation — it doth not tarry, And I have given in Zion salvation, To Israel My glory!
