Isaia 43
1 Fa ankehitriny, ry Jakoba ô, izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Izay nahary anao sady namorona anao, ry Isiraely ô: Aza matahotra ianao, fa efa nanavotra anao Aho; Efa niantso ny anaranao Aho, Ahy ianao.
But nowe thus sayeth the Lord, that created thee, O Iaakob: and hee that formed thee, O Israel, Feare not: for I haue redeemed thee: I haue called thee by thy name, thou art mine.
2 Raha mita ny rano ianao, dia homba anao Aho; Ary raha mita ny ony ianao, dia tsy hanafotra anao izy; Raha mandeha mamaky ny afo ianao, dia tsy ho may, Ary tsy hirehitra aminao ny lelafo;
When thou passest through the waters, I wil be with thee, and through the floods, that they doe not ouerflowe thee. When thou walkest through the very fire, thou shalt not be burnt, neither shall the flame kindle vpon thee.
3 Fa Izaho Jehovah no Andriamanitrao, Dia ny Iray Masin’ ny Isiraely, Mpamonjy anao; Omeko ho avotrao Egypta, ary Etiopia sy Seba ho solonao.
For I am the Lord thy God, the holy one of Israel, thy Sauiour: I gaue Egypt for thy ransome, Ethiopia, and Seba for thee.
4 Satria malala eo imasoko ianao, eny, be voninahitra ianao sady tiako, dia olona no omeko ho solonao, ary firenena ho solon’ ny ainao.
Because thou wast precious in my sight, and thou wast honourable, and I loued thee, therefore will I giue man for thee, and people for thy sake.
5 Aza mahatahotra, fa momba anao Aho; Hitondra ny taranakao avy any atsinanana Aho, ary avy any andrefana no hanangonako anao;
Feare not, for I am with thee: I will bring thy seede from the East, and gather thee from the West.
6 Ny avaratra hilazako hoe: Avoahy, ary ny atsimo hoe: Aza hazonina; Alao ny zanako-lahy avy lavitra sy ny zanako-vavy avy any amin’ ny faran’ ny tany,
I will say to the North, Giue: and to the South, Keepe not backe: bring my sonnes from farre, and my daughters from the ends of the earth.
7 Dia izay rehetra antsoina amin’ ny anarako sady nohariko ho voninahitro, dia izay noforoniko sy nataoko.
Euery one shall be called by my Name: for I created him for my glorie, formed him and made him.
8 Ento mivoaka ny olona jamba mana-maso sy ny marenina manan-tsofina.
I will bring foorth the blinde people, and they shall haue eyes, and the deafe, and they shall haue eares.
9 Aoka hiangona ny firenena rehetra, Ary aoka hivory ny olombelona; Iza aminareo no mahalaza izany? Aoka hambarany amintsika ny fahiny taloha; Aoka ho entiny ny vavolombelony hahamarina azy; Ary aoka hihaino ireo ka hiaiky hoe: Marina izany.
Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this and shewe vs former things? let them bring foorth their witnesses, that they may be iustified: but let them heare, and say, It is truth.
10 Hianareo no vavolombeloko, hoy Jehovah, sady mpanompoko izay efa nofidiko, Mba hahafantaranareo sy hinoanareo Ahy ka ho azonareo tsara fa Izaho no Izy; Talohako dia tsy nisy andriamanitra voaforona, sady tsy hisy handimby Ahy.
You are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my seruant, whom I haue chosen: therefore yee shall knowe and beleeue me and yee shall vnderstand that I am: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 Izaho dia Izaho ihany no Jehovah Ary tsy misy Mpamonjy afa-tsy Izaho.
I, euen I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Sauiour.
12 Izaho efa nilaza sy namonjy ary nanambara, ary tsy nisy hafa tao aminareo; Dia ianareo no vavolombeloko, hoy Jehovah, ary Izaho no Andriamanitra.
I haue declared, and I haue saued, and I haue shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, sayeth the Lord, that I am God.
13 Eny, hatramin’ izary andro izany Izaho no Izy, Ary tsy misy maharombaka amin’ ny tanako; Miasa Aho, ka iza moa no mahasakana izany?
Yea, before the day was, I am, and there is none that can deliuer out of mine hand: I will doe it, and who shall let it?
14 Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Mpanavotra anareo, dia ny Iray Masin’ ny Isiraely: Noho ny aminareo no nanirahako tany Babylona, ary hampidiniko izy rehetra mbamin’ ny Kaldeana ho mpandositra ho any amin’ ny sambo izay efa nifaliany.
Thus sayeth the Lord your redeemer, the holy one of Israel, For your sake I haue sent to Babel, and brought it downe: they are all fugitiues, and the Chaldeans crie in the shippes.
15 Izaho no Jehovah, Iray Masinareo, Mpamorona ny Isiraely sady Mpanjakanareo.
I am the Lord your holy one, the creator of Israel, your King.
16 Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Izay manao lalana eny amin’ ny ranomasina sy lalan-kaleha eny amin’ ny rano manonja,
Thus sayeth the Lord which maketh a way in the Sea, and a path in the mighty waters.
17 Izay mamoaka ny kalesy sy ny soavaly, ny miaramila sy ny lehilahy miara-mandry avokoa izy ka tsy hiarina intsony, mitsilopilopy izy, ka dia maty toy ny jiro:
When hee bringeth out the charet and horse, the armie and the power lie together, and shall not rise: they are extinct, and quenched as towe.
18 Aza mahatsiaro ny lasa, na misaina ny taloha.
Remember yee not the former things, neither regard the things of olde.
19 Indro, Izaho efa hanao zava-baovao, koa ankehitriny dia efa miposaka izany tsy hahalala izany va ianareo? eny, any an-efitra no hanaovako lalana ary any amin’ ny tany sao no hasiako ony;
Behold, I do a new thing: now shall it come foorth: shall you not knowe it? I wil euen make a way in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse.
20 Dia hanome voninahitra Ahy ny bibi-dia sy ny amboadia ary ny ostritsa, satria manisy rano any an-efitra sy ony any amin’ ny tany lao Aho, Hampisotroana ny oloko, dia ilay voafidiko.
The wilde beastes shall honour mee, the dragons and the ostriches, because I gaue water in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse to giue drinke to my people, euen to mine elect.
21 Izao olona noforoniko ho Ahy izao no hanambara ny fiderana Ahy.
This people haue I formed for my selfe: they shall shewe foorth my praise.
22 Nefa Izaho tsy mba nantsoinao, ry Jakoba; Fa sasatra amiko ianao, ry Isiraely.
And thou hast not called vpon mee, O Iaakob, but thou hast wearied me, O Israel.
23 Tsy nitondranao ny zanak’ ondry fanatitra doranao Aho, na nomenao voninahitra tamin’ ny fanatitrao. Tsy nampahavesatra anao tamin’ ny fanatitra Aho, na nanasatra anao tamin’ ny ditin-kazo mani-pofona.
Thou hast not brought me the sheepe of thy burnt offrings, neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I haue not caused thee to serue with an offring, nor wearied thee with incense.
24 Tsy nandoa vola namidy veromanitra ho Ahy ianao, na nahavoky Ahy tamin’ ny saboran’ ny fanatitrao; Fa nampahavesatra Ahy tamin’ ny fahotanao kosa ianao sy nanasatra Ahy tamin’ ny helokao.
Thou boughtest mee no sweete sauour with money, neither hast thou made mee drunke with the fatte of thy sacrifices, but thou hast made mee to serue with thy sinnes, and wearied mee with thine iniquities.
25 Izaho dia Izaho no mamono ny fahadisoanao noho ny amin’ ny tenako, ary tsy hotsarovako ny fahotanao.
I, euen I am he that putteth away thine iniquities for mine owne sake, and will not remember thy sinnes.
26 Ampahatsiarovy Aho, ka avia isika hifandahatra; Alaharo ary ny teninao, mba hahitana izay mahamarina anao.
Put me in remembrance: let vs be iudged together: count thou that thou maist be iustified.
27 Ny razambenao voalohany indrindra dia efa nanota, ary ireny mpanalalana aminao efa niodina tamiko,
Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers haue transgressed against me.
28 Koa izany no nanaovako ny mpanapaka masìna ho tsy masìna, sy nanolorako an’ i Jakoba ho fandringana ary Isiraely ho latsa.
Therefore I haue prophaned the rulers of the Sanctuarie, and haue made Iaakob a curse, and Israel a reproche.
